CHAPTER 121 NURTURING US

Sidharth woke up and found Shehnaaz sleeping in a weird position.. Her hands were on his chest, her legs were on his thigh.. She looked like a baby and he couldn’t wake her up so soon.. “Itni gehri neend me hai, kaise uthau isko..” said Sidharth to himself and kept looking at her.. He got a call, “Haa Kaushal, bol.. All good?”
“Yaa, all good.. Tum kaha ho? Kal raat dinner ke baad nikalne wale the na?” asked Kaushal and Sidharth brushed his fingers in his hair and looked at his munchkin sleeping cutely, remembering the last night’s moments, “Man nai hua, ruk gaye.. Bas abhi fresh hoke nikal jaenge..”
“Shoot aaj?” asked Kaushal and Sidharth agreed, “Haa, Punjab jaane ke wajah se 2-3 din ka miss hua hai, will have to finish that too.. I need to know when will this shoot wrap up..” said Sidharth..
“Pehle ek week tha, abhi ye jo miss hua hai uske wajah se 10 days me wrap up hai..” informed Kaushal and they disconnected the call..
“Baby, wake up darling..” said Sidharth as he held her in his arms.. He pressed his lips on her forehead.. He kissed her nose and her cheeks.. She was way too sleepy since they had slept quite late..
Sidharth left her on the bed, took a shower, got ready and packed the bags.. He asked the hotel staff to help him take the bags to the car and then he lifted Shehnaaz in his arms, made her sit comfortably on the car… 
She was just trying to understand where was she in her sleep, Sidharth came back after paying and she looked at him all dressed up in good clothes..
“Bebu..” She cooed and he took her in his arms.. “Haa, soh jaa..” said Sidharth and patted her head softly.. She slept in his arms again and woke up only when they reached back to Bombay…
He woke her up a few minutes before they were about to reach home.. “Hey Baby, chal uth jaa.. Mai neeche se hi nikal jaunga.. Ghar nai aaunga..” said Sidharth and she woke up, her eyes wide open, “Sidhaarth.. Itna jaldi jaa raha hai.. Upar aaja, kuch khaa le na.. Haye, mai soti reh gayi tere bare me socha bhi nai..” Shehnaaz started blabbering and Sidharth took her lips in his trying to shut her off..
“Kitna bolti hai.. Relax kar.. Mai kha lunga on the set and please stop feeling guilty.. Hum late soye the kal to tera sona banta hai.. Any which ways, you are under medication baby.. Don’t feel sad.. come on now…” said Sidharth cheering her up..
She snuggled into him, taking him all in till the time they were together and he loved when she wrapped her arms all around him..
“Meri Jaan, I will be late today.. I want to finish the shoot as soon as possible.. Please manage without me..” said Sidharth and she agreed..
“Tu bindass shoot kar.. Mai hu araam se.. Meri fikar mat kar.. Maa hai mere sath..” said Shehnaaz and he was proud of his girl…
They reached home, he kissed her once before dropping her to the lift and kissed her forehead as she stepped in the lift, “Miss me baby..” said Sidharth and winked at her making her blush… The lift door closed and he walked back to the car..
“Maaaa” cooed Shehnaaz as Mom opened the door and hugged her.. “Aa gayi! Sidharth kaha hai?” asked Mom..
“Wo seedhe shoot pe chala gaya.. Hum kal raat dinner ke baad aane wale the lekin uska man nai tha wapas aane ka.. Isliye ruk gaye aur fir abhi seedha shoot pe gaya haii.. Keh raha tha late aaega.. Mai to abhi se miss karne lag padi hu..” said Shehnaaz, innocently and mom couldn’t help but kiss her forehead with love..
“Koi baat nai, ab tu rest kar.. Itna kaam karte ho tum dono.. Ab tu rest kar, thik ho ja puri tarah se..” said Mom and they both had breakfast together..
Sidharth called Shehnaaz, half way to his shoot location, “I miss you, Gadhi..” said Sidharth making her smile and frown at the same time, “Kutta, I miss you more Putthuu..”
“Ek hi sentence me Kutta aur Putthu tu hi bol sakti hai..”
“Khaya kuch?” asked Shehnaaz and he told her, “Haa, sandwich liya tha on the way.. Tu khai? Mom thik hai?” asked Sidharth..
“Haa, Maa thik hai.. Hum dono ne sath khaye abhi.. Tu dhyan rakhna Putthu..”
“Mai to rakhunga, Tu bhi rakhna apna dhyan.. Set pe mat aana.. Rest and get well completely.. Fir hum kahi ghumne jaenge..” said Sidharth and she got the idea of planning the trip for him as a gift instead of him planning it this time..
“Thik hai Bebu, tu kaam pe focus kar, mai tabiyat thik karti hu.. Fir chalenge jaha bhi man karega..” said Shehnaaz..
Sidharth had reached his shoot location so he bid goodbye to her and disconnected the call..
Shehnaaz spoke to mom, “Maa, har baar Sidharth holiday plan karta hai, is baar mai soch rahi hu ki mai karu.. Aise bhi wo kaam me busy hai.. Punjab jane ki wajah se uska gap bhi aa gaya tha to ab shoot 10 din tak aur chalega.. Aapko kya lagta hai..”
“Jo bhi tujhe acha lagta hai kar.. But pehle, thik ho jaa.. Aur idea bhot acha hai waise.. Mere bache ko tu ache se janti hai aur tu hi usko aise surprise de sakti hai.. Aaj tak kisi ne uske liye trip plan nai kiya hai..” said Mom and smiled at her..
Naira came to their house, “Mami, my project! Yayyy I am so happy..” said Naira as she hugged Shehnaaz.. “Mamu ki advice was so perfect.. Mai apne aap pe doubt kar rahi thi, but my team is really good and they all are hard working.. I am doing good..” said an excited Naira..
Mom and Shehnaaz were proud of her and hugged her again..
“Acha, Mamu ko bhi milna tha but wo hai nai.. Mai call kar lungi unko.. Mai nikalti hu..” said Naira bidding goodbye to them and leaving for work..
“Bache, akele kuch mat kar.. Kaushal Mehul ko include kar le taaki Sidharth aur teri exact free dates mil sake tujhe.. Book karne me bhi help ho jaegi..” suggested Mom and Shehnaaz agreed..
She called Kaushal but he didn’t pick up so she called Mehul, “Haa, Shehnaaz.. Bolo..”
“Kaha hai?” asked Shehnaaz.. “Sidharth bhai ke location pe.. Sab thik hai na?” asked Mehul getting slightly worried, “Haa, sab thik hai.. Chilla mat aur free hote hi ghar aaja.. Mujhe Sidharth ke liye kuch surprise plan karna hai aur usko batana nai..” said Shehnaaz and he agreed.. “Mai aata hu, lekin kuch paper work chal raha hai Promotions ka fir traffic bhi hai thoda time lag jaega..” said Mehul..
“Chalega, mai Maa ke sath hi hu.. Tu nikalne ke pehle call kar warna mai so jaungi..” said Shehnaaz and he agreed..
“Keh diya Mehul ko aane.. Kaushal busy hai abhi..” informed Shehnaaz to Mom..
Shehnaaz was scrolling through her phone, finding out some places to visit.. “Maa, India me hi rahe ya bahar jaye?” asked Shehnaaz..
“Bache, teri jaisi marzi.. Tum dono ki dates dekh lo.. wo zyada zaruri hai.. agar kam time hai to India me hi raho, break agar bada hai to ghum aao bahar India ke..” said Mom and Shehnaaz agreed..
“Mai filhal India ki jagah hi dekhti hu.. Mere hisab se kam time hai free..” said Shehnaaz and Mom got a phone call from her friend..
“Shehnaaz, bache, meri friend ki beti ka abhi delivery hone wala hai.. Wo pareshan ho rahi hai mujhe hospital bula rahi hai.. Tu reh legi na araam se?” asked Mom and Shehnaaz agreed, “Haa maa. Aap araam se jao. Mai Sidharth ka tiffin bhi bhej dungi.. Kuch lage to mujhe call karo..” said Shehnaaz and hugged Mom before she left..
She dotted down a few places and Mehul called, “Hello, Mai nikal raha hu..” said Mehul..
“Sun naa Mehul..” said Shehnaaz and Mehul sensed there was something wrong, “Hanji, boliye madam..” “Bakwas mat kar.. Tu mujhe behen bolta hai na, toh mera ek kaam karega..”
“Kya kaam karna hai?” asked Mehul and she requested, “Please, Dahi Papdi chaat leke aana mere liye.. Bada man ho raha hai kuch chatpata khane ka..” said Sana “Shehnaaz, Sidharth sir ne mana kiye hai.. Kyu mujhe marwana chahti hai.?”
“Mai thik hu abhi.. Pleasseee.” Said Shehnaaz in her cutest voice and Mehul couldn’t deny her..
Kaushal came along with him and they got chaat for Shehnaaz.. Once home, they finalized a state in India, a few cities, 2 days in each city.. She ate the chaat while talking..
