Mom saw his smiley face, “Aisa kya hua jo tu itna khush hai..” asked Mom.. “Baja daali Shehnaaz ne Riya ki.. Wo wait kar rahi hai.. Mai aapko nai batata, Shehnaaz khud batana chahti hai aapko..” said Sidharth, grinning again.
Mom chuckled.. “Pagal ho dono..” said Mom and handed her the gift after finishing the tea.. “Go give it to my girl and make her all happy..” said Mom..
Shehnaaz was waiting for him and she got up from the bed as she saw him coming.. “Sidhaaartthh..” She cooed and hugged him..
He hugged her back and pulled out of the hug in a while.. “This is for you, My Precious..” said Sidharth, handing her a small box.. “Ye kya hai Putthu?” asked Shehnaaz..
“Baby isko na kholna hota hai.. Gadhi..” said Sidharth, chuckling and she opened it.. The box opened and it was like multiple gifts in that big box..
There was a watch, a pair of earrings.. The special part was a new Mangalsutra for her.. It has SidNaaz encrypted as a pedant.. There was small wallet since Shehnaaz didn’t like big bags.. She opened the wallet and it had the same notes which Shehnaaz had earned in her initial days and kept it safely.. Sidharth remembered it and put those notes in the wallet and small wallet size pictures of Mom, Didi, Naira Kabir and Sidharth and Shehnaaz inside it.. The wallet had her name encrypted on it..
Shehnaaz kept everything on the bed and jumped on him.. She cried, sobbed like a child.. “Shehnaaz, bas na meri Jaan.. Mai tujhe khush karna chahta tha.. He pulled out of the hug and cupped her face in his hands.. He wiped off her tears and smiled widely at her to make her smile.. “Shehnaaz, tu royegi toh mai bhi roh dunga.. Soch le baby..” said Sidharth and she stopped crying…
“Acha sun, chal Maa ke pass.. Bata unko kaise band bajai.. Don’t spoil your mood.. Khush reh..” said Sidharth..

He obliged and kissed her like she wanted to.. “Mera strong bacha hai..” said Sidharth.. Shehnaaz smiled and they walked out of the bedroom.. Mom was on the couch, talking to Usha..
“Maa, ab aapko Usha aunty firse mil gaye hai toh hum dono pe dhyan hi nahi dete ho..” said Sidharth, faking anger..
“Haa, tum dono pe dhyan deti rahi toh mai Pagal ho jaungi.. Chote bacho jaise ladhte ho, fir ghanto ek dusre me ghuse rehte ho..” said Mom, laughing at them..
“Maaa! Maine ek acha kaam kari.. Batau?” asked Shehnaaz, like an excited child and Mom acted as if she didn’t know she was talking about Riya..
“Kya Acha kaam kari bache, bata mujhe bhi..” asked Mom, sounding surprised and Shehnaaz narrated the whole incident.. “Wah! Meri bachi best hai.. Ye ladka gadha hai.. Kisi ko bhi kuch bhi karne de deta hai..” said Mom and Sidharth frowned..
“Maa, Jaane do.. Bhola bacha hai ye.. Iski galti hoti nai hai aur bechara fas jata hai.. Socho, agar sach me galti karta toh kitna band bajta Iska..” said Shehnaaz, High fiving mom..
“Tum dono jis hisab se mere baare me bakwas kare Jaa rahe ho jaise Mai hu hi nahi yaha.. Hadh hai.. Aur Shehnaaz tum, abhi bada hurt ho raha tha mujhse door Rehne ke liye aur ab meri hasi uda rahi hai.. Huh, ab mai hurt hu..” said Sidharth folding his arms..
“Aww, puthu tu toh daal chawal se hi khush ho jaega..” said Shehnaaz, chuckling at him and walked into the kitchen to make dinner..
Sidharth sat with Mom and she knew he was being strong for Shehnaaz.. “Bache, mai janti hu tujhe.. Relax kar.. Mai rahungi tere sath.. Tu akela nai hoga.. Tu abhi jo kar rhaa hai usko strong banane ke liye, I’m proud of it.. You’re doing well son..” said Mom, making him comfortable..
Shehnaaz finished cooking and called Mom and Sidharth to the dining table.. “Khila du?” asked Shehnaaz and he grinned..
She smiled back at him and fed him dinner.. She ate along with Mom.. The trio spoke for some time and Sidharth also showed Mom the outfits of himself and Shehnaaz for the premiere of his webseries..
“Ye kab aaye?” asked Shehnaaz.. “Baby, Ken jaisa dost hai toh tension kis Baat ki.. He has your measurements and so he designed this for us..” told Sidharth..
Mom went to bed and Sidharth took Shehnaaz on a drive.. “Ice-cream khayegi baby?” asked Sidharth and she agreed.. “Aap jo khila do, aaj mai sab kya lungi..’ said Shehnaaz, laughing.. She knew he gets uncomfortable with aap and everything..
“Pagal hai tu..” said Sidharth, driving through the sea side and stopping by at their favourite ice cream parlor.. They ordered it in the car and Sidharth wanted to sit on the sea side..
“Shehnaaz, kal agar tera aur Riya ka aamna samna hua toh tu kya karegi?” asked Sidharth, after settling into an empty space, with their legs dropped down..
“Katal kar dungi uska..” said Shehnaaz, dramatically, freaking Sidharth out.. “Itna bhi nai baby..” said Sidharth and Shehnaaz laughed like a maniac.
