CHAPTER 110 NURTURING US

Shehnaaz had mad mood swings all through the way.. She kept calling Sidharth but each time it showed out of range…
“Shehnaaz, shant ho ja, hum Dadi ke pass jaa rahe hai na.. Aur Sidharth kam me hoga, free hoke karega call. Tu itna panic karna band kar..” said Rehan, giving her a bottle of water..
Shehnaaz looked at him, took water from his hand and gulped half the bottle down.. She held her face in her hands, cried herself and Rehan just wrapped his arm around her shoulder, “Shehnaaz, please ro mat.. Himmat rakh.. Kuch nai hoga..” said Rehan and tried giving her something to eat but she denied everything he offered..
“Maine nai khana.. Sidharth se jab tak bat nai hoti maine kuch nai khana..” said Shehnaaz.. “Aise zid karegi to tabiyat fir kharab hogi, jo last time hua tha firse ho jaega.. Aisa mat kar.. Thoda sa sandwich hi khaa le..” said Rehan..
“Sidharth ne bola tha na khana skip nai karna hai.. Please uske liye kha le..” said Rehan, playing his card well with Sidharth’s name, knowing she wouldn’t deny if Sidharth’s name will come..
She took the sandwich in her hand and ate it.. They landed in Chandigarh and the first thing Shehnaaz did was look through her phone…
Let’s go to Sidharth’s interview once.. While Shehnaaz was trying to call him, he was preparing himself for the interview.. He was about to call Shehnaaz and inform her but someone knocked the door..
Sidharth opened it and saw Riya all nervous and her face was sweaty.. “Hey, is everything alright? Come in..” said Sidharth…
“Sir, maine aisa interview kabhi diya nai hai.. I am getting very nervous.. Please help me through this.. Please sir..” said Riya..
“Pehle, have this glass of water and calm down.. They will just ask questions about your experience while shooting and nothing else.. Don’t worry, they won’t eat you..” said Sidharth, trying to lighten up the situation…
“Agar mai kisi sawal ka jawab nai de payi to?” asked Riya..
“You have the option to deny the questions you don’t want to answer, or you can also ask for more time.. Waha koi bhi tumhare upar pressure nai dalne wala hai.. Tum jitna panic karogi utna dar lagega.. I will be right next to you and our team will be present as well.. Just breathe in and breathe out, relax and go for it..” explained Sidharth…
Riya somehow got her confidence back and she thanked Sidharth… She walked out of the vanity and Sidharth followed… As she was about to step out, she murmured another Thank You and came forward to hug him..
“Thank You so much..” said Riya and Sidharth casually hugged her back.. At the vanity door, the cameraman happened to click that as well..  He sent it to Shehnaaz with the headline, “Sidharth Shukla spotted having a cozy moment with his co-star just inside his vanity.. seems like something is brewing.”
The interview went well, Riya was panicking in the beginning and Sidharth just understood her nervousness and wrapped his arm around her shoulder… He rubbed her arm and that was captured too.. She was fine till the break…
Sidharth offered her water and looked at her sweating again.. He just held a tissue and dabbed it on her face, “Why are you panicking so much? Just relax..” said Sidharth…
Kaushal was busy with Rita Maa, talking to her about Shehnaaz’s travelling and Sidharth’s schedule.. He came back and saw a different cameraman capturing, all around the set..
He didn’t bother because he was busy booking Sidharth’s tickets.. He tried talking to Sidharth but he was busy consoling Riya..
“Kaushal, interview kab khatam ho raha hai.?” asked Sidharth.. “Just a few wrapping up questions are left..”
The interview started again and someone asked, “How was it romancing with Riya?”
“The experience was nice; you wait till you watch it.. I don’t kiss and tell, you see..” answered Sidharth and the interview ended..
“Shehnaaz ko call kar please..” said Sidharth the moment he got free.. “Mummy Ji aaye hai..” informed Adith..
He walked into his vanity and saw Mom, “Maa, aap yaha? Is everything alright?” asked Sidharth..
“Bache, Shehnaaz’s Dadi is hospitalized, heart attack aaya hai.. She has gone to Punjab with Rehan… Your phone was busy and we tried contacted you.. but I asked her to go with Rehan.. Your tickets are booked too, please leave now bache.. She needs you..” informed mom and Sidharth quickly changed into his tshirt and jeans, took the bag packed by Mom and headed towards the Airport..
Once Shehnaaz landed in Chandigarh, she saw everything which was captured by the other cameraman.. The one who was actually spying on Sidharth and Shehnaaz.. She saw all the pictures, videos and her heart broke…
She called Shehbaaz and he had already sent a car for her.. Rehan accompanied to her in the car and tried to know what was troubling her..
“Kya hua hai? tu thik hai?” asked Rehan looking at her fidgeting with her dupatta.. “Haa, bas kya hi bolu.. Dadi ki chinta hai..” lied Shehnaaz..
They reached the hospital and Shehnaaz stormed towards Shehbaaz, “Dadi Kidhar hai? Maa Papa? Dada?” asked Shehnaaz..
“Motto, Dadi ko doctors dekh rahe hai, abhi aake bol ke gaye hai ki cheeze control me aa gayi hai.. Dadi jaldi thik ho jaegi..” informed Shehbaaz..
Shehnaaz hugged Baaz and broke down in his arms.. He thought she was crying because of Dadi but she was actually crying thinking about Sidharth and Riya..
Sidharth landed in Chandigarh, took a cab as he didn’t want to disturb Shehnaaz’s family as they were already stressed and reached the hospital..
He came and saw Shehnaaz crying.. Baaz saw him, “Sidharth, bhai, aap yaha.. Sat Sri Akal..” said Baaz and Sidharth greeted him, “Haa, Chotey, Dadi kaise hai? doctors ne kya bole?” asked Sidharth with concern and tried to take Shehnaaz in his arms..
Baaz told what he told Shehnaaz and Sidharth held Shehnaaz in his arms, “Baby, relax kar.. Sab sahi ho jaega. Kyu itna pareshan ho rahi hai?” asked Sidharth but she cried more..
She got out of his arms and walked away from him, “Kya hua hai? kuch problem hai?” asked Sidharth..
“Mai maa ke pass jaa rahi hu..” said Shehnaaz and walked away from the area.. She met her parents and comforted her Dada..
Rehan came to Sidharth, “Bhai, wo kisi cheez se pareshan hai.. Bata nai rahi hai but baar baar phone dekh rahi thi aur uska mood badal raha tha.. Kuch khane raazi nai thi, pani bhi nai pee rahi thi, fir achanak pee le.. Uska mood nai samjh aa raha..” informed Rehan..
“Meri baby hai, mai handle karta hu usko..” said Sidharth and continued, “Thanks for coming with her man. It really means a lot.. Travelling alone in such situation would have been difficult..” said Sidharth and hugged Rehan..
Shehnaaz looked at her grandmother through the glass window and cried.. Baaz walked beside her and wrapped an arm around her, “Motto, maine bola na abhi Dadi jaldi thik ho jaegi.. Tu kyu itna ro rahi hai..”
“Sab duniya me dikhawa karte hai.. Pyaar to karte hai lekin ek insaan ke sath zyada time ni rehte..” blabbered Shehnaaz and Sidharth heard it.. Shehnaaz had dropped her phone by mistake on the chair and he grabbed it..
He saw the pictures and videos sent to her personally by an unkown number and he saw everything… Sidharth immediately called Kaushal and informed him about everything..
“Shehnaaz, mere pass aana 2 min ke liye..” said Sidharth and She agreed as they were in the hospital she didn’t deny..
He dragged her to a corner and hugged her tight, “Shehnaaz, don’t believe in everything you see.. Kuch cheeze jaisi dikhti hai waisi hoti nai hai..” said Sidharth and Shehnaaz again, took it in a wrong way, “Wo to janti hu, jo jaisa dikhta hai waisa hamesha nai hota.. Jo ek se pyaar karta hai, wo puri zindagi sirf ek ke sath nai reh sakta.. Ache se samjh gayi hu mai..” said Shehnaaz, pissing Sidharth really a lot..
“Tum sach me ye soch rahi ho?” asked Sidharth as he was in a deep shock.. “Mai pagal nai hu Sidharth, door reh mujhse..” said Shehnaaz and walked off..
Sidharth was so angry that he couldn’t even imagine what to do.. He called Naira and told her everything.. “Mamu, I already told Mami once about this.. Jab bhi Mami aur Rehan milte hai news headline ban jati hai.. Aapka aur Riya ka bhi unnecessary headline aa jata hai and I saw everything right now as well jo circulate ho raha hai..”
“She isn’t believing me damn it..” growled Sidharth..
“Calm down Mamu, you need to be patient and handle Mami in this situation..” Naira calmed him down..
