“Naira, Nani ko call kar ke bol ye sab.. Mai Shehnaaz ke sath hu..” said Sidharth and Naira left them alone for some time..
“Shehnaaz, Meri Jaan.. Shant ho ja.. Hum sath hai to koi hamara kuch nai bigad sakta hai.. So please abhi soch mat… Idhar aa jhappi daal le..” He said and grabbed her in his arms.. She wasn’t able to understand what to do how to react and Sidharth’s blood was boiling each time he saw Shehnaaz like that..
“Babyy, I know his words is effecting you.. But trust me nothing will harm you, please.”
“Sidharth, aise kaise koi bol sakta hai.. Maine to kapde bhi dhang wale dale the… kyu baar bar aise mere peeche padh jate hai log.. Wo kaise gandi nazro se dekh raha tha mujhe… Sidharth, Mai nai karungi aur shoot… Please…. Contract hai, Vikas apna dost hai sab samjh rahi hu… Lekin maine waha nai jana wapas… Pleaseeee..” She said and broke down in his arms yet again…. Sidharth wrapped his arms protectively around her and just stayed with her.. He knew she wont be able to listen to him at the moment… He just held her in his arms… She felt homely and peaceful in his arms…
“Shehnaaz.. Meri Jaan… Sun Meri baat…” He said once she had stopped crying.. “Abhi tujhe thik lag raha hai? kuch khaegi?”
“Maa ke pass chale?” she asked and he agreed…
“Ha chalte hai… Bas Adith car me hi hai aur Naira bhi yehi hai… Chal sath chalte hai..”
“Mai fresh ho jati hu ruk..”
Sidharth agreed and was about to leave, “Sidharth tu jaa mat. Mujhe ajeeb sa dar lag raha hai. yehi reh please.”
“Acha yehi hu. Tu aaja fir chalenge…” said Sidharth….
He felt better when she was getting normal but he again got sad when she asked him to stay in the room and not leave her alone..
“Abhi bhi dari hui hai… Mera dimag sadh raha hai.. Jab tak ye thik nai hoti, mai kisi cheez me dhyan nai dene wala hu..” Said Sidharth to Naira..
“Haa Mamu, abhi filhal Mami should be your first priority..”
They waited for Shehnaaz and she came soon and the trio left for home…
The drive was silent, Shehnaaz was resting her head on his chest and his arm was around her.. His gaze was outside the window and Naira was looking at both of them…
They reached home and Shehnaaz was stuck to mom… Sidharth told everything and Naira went into the kitchen to cook something…
“Shehnaaz, tu galat nai hai… Samjh rahi hai na tu…”
“Haa, mai nai hu galat mai janti hu… Lekin ye baar bar aise kii bhi kuch bhi bol deta hai..” said Shehnaaz…
Mom had no answer… “Acha abhi ke liye tu shant reh..” said Mom and took Shehnaaz to her room….
“Maa, aap raho Shehnaaz ke sath, Mai Vikas ke pass jaa raha hu with Kaushal.. Important hai..” said Sidharth and hugged Shehnaaz once and pressed his lips on her forehead, “Don’t worry mai hu na… Aata hu mai.. Maa ke sath hi rehna…” said Sidharth and walked out…
“Mamu? Kidhar?”
“Aata hu mai..” He said and walked away without waiting for  more time…
Chetan was keeping an eye on both Sidharth and Shehnaaz’s whereabouts..
Sidharth was at a restaurant with Vikas and Kaushal…..
“Mai chorunga nai usko… Aur ye headlines ka kya scene hai? Ye zyada kiya hai to mai wo video viral kar dunga jo wo sala Shehnaaz ke bare me bol raha tha… Kaushal, mera dimag sadh chuka hai ab buri tarah.. Vikas, tujhe pata hai wo kaisi dar gayi hai.. usko aisa lag raha hai ki usne aisa kya kar diya ki wo usko aisi nazro se dekh raha tha… mai kaise bharosa dilau usko ki wo thik rahegi? Han? Dar gayi hai wo.. Koi bhi darega.. Usne jaise shab use kiye hai… Fuck! Mai khud usko Maar dalunga..”
“Sidharth, calm down.. We need you both to be safe.. He can stoop down to any level keep that in mind...” said Kaushal as he knew how these people work..
“I know it Kaushal. But samjh meri baat.. Meri sentiments aur most importantly, Shehnaaz ke sentiments.. I can’t see her like that.. Vikas, tujhe pata hai wo Keh rahi thi ab shoot hi nai karegi. Beech me chor dene ko tayar ho gayi hai ye web series..”
“Khushi se mai Baat kar lunga. Tu uski fikar mat kar.. Abhi abhi aisa hua hai isliye ghabra gayi hai.. Thoda tu shant rahega to usko shant kar paega.”
As they were having a conversation, a couple of policemen came inside the restaurant and were searching for Sidharth, “Excuse me! Mr. Shukla, Aapko hamare sath Police Station chalna hoga..”
Sidharth, Vikas and Kaushal were on their feet and Kaushal spoke up, “Aap aise kaise Police Station leke Jaa sakte hai.. Kiye kya hai Sidharth Sir ne?”
“Sir hoga tumhara.. Hamare liye ye ek gunhegar hai jisne Chetan Kapoor ko 15 thappad mare hai jiski wajah se unke hoto se khoon bhi nikal pada hai aur aankhein aur muh sooj gaya hai.. Bina wajah unpe hamla kiya gaya hai.”
“Hum Aa rahe hai.. Aap aage badho.. Sidharth sir aapke van me nai aaenge. Hamare pass proof hai Chetan Kapoor ke against.. Usne Pehle Sidharth sir ki wife ke sath badtamizi kiya tha isliye unka gussa nikl gaya hai.” Said Kaushal while Sidharth was on a call with his friend SP Arjun Singh and told him everything…
“Bhai tu janta hai mai bina wajah aisa kabhi nai karta..”
“Sidharth, tu relax kar.. Ek kaam kar.. Tu Kaushal aur ek xre member ke sath Aa Jaa.. Apni Car se Aa, no need to come in the van.. Mai bahar tha isliye mujhe nai pata tha ki ye log tere pass Aa rahe hai.. Hum sath handle karenge tu aaja alag se..”
“Ha aata hu. Aur crew member nai khud director hai mere sath.. Vikas Gupta.. Wo mere sath aaega..”
“That will be perfect..”
Arjun called the constables and asked them to leave Sidharth and reach the Police Station… they agreed and left…
Sidharth hit the wall with his fist, “Fuck! What the hell is he trying to do? Han? He thinks this will scare me? Or I will stop myself from taking a stand for my wife.? Ab iski Mai Arjun ke sath mil ke bajaunga.”
“Sidharth calm down.. We have to aware.. Listen, how did the Police come to know we are here?” asked Vikas and Kaushal replied, “Isne aadmi rakhe hai Sidharth ke peeche and I am sure Shehnaaz ke movement pe bhi focus kiya Jaa raha hai… ask her to be inside..”
“Haa. Mai car me chal ke call karta hu..”
They went to the Police Station and showed everything to Arjun.. He took the videos in his phone and in the Laptop of Police Station that has all the proofs.. He also took those videos in the pendrive…
“Sidharth. Mai hu tera dost. Bharosa rakh. Mat soch zyada..”
“Arjun, meri biwi strong hai.. Ghabrati nai hai jaldi… lekin is aadmi ne baar baar attempt kiya usse Baat karne ke liye. Wo nai maani fir bhi uske peeche pada hai..”
“Wo nai mane Bhabi ne Isliye iska ego hurt hua hai aur kuch nai..” said Arjun and they spoke for sometime and decided to keep a policeman with them for security..
In Shukla Niwas, Shehnaaz was getting extremely restless and Mom suggested to visit a Gurudwara.. Mommy Shukla, Naira and Shehnaaz went to the Gurudwara and attended a Qirtan..
“Abhi thik laga? Bache, Baba Ji pe bharosa rakh.. Wo kuch galat nai karenge..” said Mom and Shehnaaz just nodded in agreement.. As they stepped out of the Gurudwara, Shehnaaz was pulled by a man who’s face was covered leaving Mom and Naira in shock! Now? TBC!
