Sidharth couldn’t stay away from his little baby more… “Uff.. You have become so hot darling… Itna rota hai koi..” cooed Sidharth as he pressed his forehead.. He kept patting her head softly, “Acha sun, dawai li?” asked Sidharth and she nodded in agreement..
He kept pressing her forehead until she slept and walked to Mom’s room.. “Gussa dikhane aaya hai to mai nai sunne wali hu kuch bhi..” said Mom in a straight tone as she was upset with the way he banged the door..
“Sorry mom.. Mai bhadakne nai aaya hu.. maafi mangne aaya hu.. Aap meri bhi situation samjho na.. Tabiyat dekh rahe ho uski kaisi kharab ho rahi hai.. Usko aise dekh ke mujhe khud ko acha nai lagta..” said Sidharth, wrapping his arm around mom and pulled her in a hug…
“Wo to hai.. Lekin, mere bache, tu bhadakne kam kar.. Itna gussa acha nai hai tu janta hai na.. Wo dil pe leti hai.. Ye acha nai hai na..” said Mom and Sidharth somehow understood..
“Aap naraz nai ho na?” asked Sidharth very cutely with his eyes stuck on mom’s.. “Nai mere bache.. Wo to bas tu darwaza patak raha tha isliye..” said Mom and he smiled.. “nai karunga ab se.. I love you mom..” said sidharth and suddenly remembered about Naira, “Arey, Mom.. Naira thik hai? uska kaam start hua?” asked Sidharth and mom told him, “Tere speech ke baad se thik hai.. Wo motivate hui aur aayi thi ghar.. Team achi hai uski.. She is doing well..” said Mom and Sidharth was relieved..
“Jaa uske pass.. Tabiyat nai sahi hai.. Thik ho jaye wo ek baar bas..” said Mom and he agreed.. Sidharth walked off to his room and Shehnaaz was asleep, hugging Pinku.. “Sala 5 min ke liye gaya bahar aur pakad li is Pinku ko..” said Sidharth snatching away the poor teddy from her hand and she shifted in her sleep..
Sidharth joined her in the bed and she curled up herself around him… They slept peacefully in each other’s arms and the night was smooth..
Sidharth had an early morning shoot so he left at 6 without waking her up.. He kissed her forehead and tucked her well in the bed and checked her temperature.. She had no fever and he took a sign of relief..
He went out, mom had woken up because of her friend’s daughter’s delivery.. “Maa, you up? Is everything okay?” asked Sidharth as he saw her..
“Haa bache, it’s just my friend’s daughter had a baby yesterday and there are a few complications.. She is very worried..” told mom..
“Mom, take care han.. Kuch lage to let me know.. Waise birth ke baad bhi complications hote hai kya?” asked Sidharth, getting a little worried himself..
“Bache, you don’t get into this right now.. Nothing much is wrong.. You go, finish your shoot and come back to her..” said mom..
“Mom, mai nai aa paunga jaldi.. It will take time.. Pack schedule hai.. But I will try to be in touch.. You take care Maa, should I drop you?” asked Sidharth..
“Nai, Shehnaaz ka driver aa gaya hai..” said Mom and they both left in respective cars..
Sidharth reached his shoot location and started working.. He didn’t have time to use his phone at all… Shehnaaz woke up all alone in the house and frowned..
“Baba ji, isne dil se maaf nai kiya hai aisa lag raha hai mujhe..” thought Shehnaaz to herself.. She got out of bed, had breakfast and called him..
Adith picked it up since Sidharth had instructed him to pick up family’s phone.. “Haa Bhabi..” said Adith..
“Sidharth busy hai kya?” asked Shehnaaz and he answered in agreement, “Bhabi, aap bolo na.. Sab thik hai na? sidharth bhai ne bole the gharwalo ka phone uthane..” said Adith..
“Mai to thik hu, sidharth khaya kuch?” asked Shehnaaz and Adith told her, “Haa, mai de diya tha.. Juice bhi ready karwa raha hu.. Break hote hi mai de dunga.. Fikar mat karo..”
Shehnaaz felt better and she disconnected the call.. She prepared lunch and called mom, “Maa, kaha ho aap? Kuch help chahiye meri?” asked Shehnaaz and Mom said, “Relax bache, mai bas ghar aa rahi hu.. Tu thik hai na bache?” asked Mom..
“Haa Maa, lunch bana di hu.. Sidharth ka tiffin ready kar rahi hu..” said Shehnaaz..
“Jaana nai bache, fir bhadkega..” said Mom and Shehnaaz told her, “Haa, mai nai jaa rahi hu..” said Shehnaaz and disconnected the call..
Shehnaaz packed his tiffin and added a hand written note, “Bebu, mera Putthu, mai sachi apna dhyan rakhungi.. Tu mujhe dil se maaf kar de na.. Meko aisa lag raha hai tune mujhe maaf nai kiya hai.. Please mera baby, mai sachi sorry hu…” said the note and she put up a lipstick and pressed her lips in the bottom of the note..
She kept it in an envelope and put it in the bag.. Mom came back and Shehnaaz handed the tiffin to him.. Shehnaaz hugged mom and they had lunch together..
Once done, Shehnaaz called Mehul home again.. Sidharth saw Mehul talking to Kaushal, “Bhai, mai jaake aata hu.. Kuch kam hoga to call kar..” said Mehul and Kaushal saw Sidharth looking at them, their eyes met and Kaushal looked away suddenly and sent Mehul to Shehnaaz’s place..
Sidharth got diverted when he saw the note sent by his gadhi baby who was thinking he was still upset.. He called her right away, “Shehnaaz, meri jaan, mai nai hu gussa.. Aisa sochna band kar please.. Mai aa jaunga by 10 pm..” said Sidharth..
“10 Baje? Itna kaam karega to thak jaega Putthu..” said Shehnaaz and he continued talking to her, “Tu hai na baby. Mai abhi tujhse baat kar ke hi energized ho gaya hu.. Thank you daal chawal ke liye.. Daal achi banai hai.. Ab mehnat karna band kar please aur rest kar..” said Sidharth and shoved in a spoonful of rice and sipped the daal along..
“Haa Putthu, mai uthi to koi nai tha ghar me.. Mujhe laga tu dil se maaf nai kiya.. Isliye mai bana li lunch..” said Shehnaaz and Sidharth remembered about mom, “Maa aaye wapas?” asked Sidharth and Shehnaaz told, “Haa, Maa ke aane ke baad hi tiffin bheji, fir hum dono sath khaye.. Ab maa rest kar rahe hai aur mai tujhe miss kar rahi hu..”
“Mera bacha, aa jaunga.. Tu fikar mat kar.. Dinner kar lena agar bhuk lagi to.. rukna nai mere liye…” said Sidharth.. He added, “Mai shaam me fir call karunga.. Teri yaad mujhe bhi aa rahi hai baby..” said Sidharth making her happy..
“Thik hai bebu, dhyan rakh.. Juice pani sab lete rehna..” said Shehnaaz and he agreed and disconnected the call..
Just as the call ended, the doorbell rang and Mehul had reached along with Kaushal.. “Achaa, tu bhi aaya mai sochi tu busy hoga..” said Shehnaaz as she saw Kaushal coming in too..
“Ab SidNaaz ka trip plan karna hai to mujhe aana hi tha…” said Kaushal, opened his laptop and they were working.. Shehnaaz asked them about all what she wanted to include in the trip and Kaushal was agreeing to everything by then..
Sidharth called as he promised and he sounded way too tired, “Mera Putthu, tu bho thak gaya hai.. Kaise manage karega.. kuch heavy khaa le na..” said Shehnaaz.. “Mujhe tu chahiye.. Mai thik ho jaunga..” said Sidharth and she asked him softly, “Bhadakna nai, aur agar tu nai bolega to nai karungi.. Lekin, mai aa jau tere pass?” asked Shehnaaz.. He wanted her, “Tu thik hai na? Bukhar nai hai na?” asked Sidharth and she told him, “nai hai bukhar, bas halka sardi hai..” said Shehnaaz.. “Aa jau? She asked in an excited tone and he agreed.. “Aaja..” said Sidharth and she jumped up with happiness..
