NURTURING US
Sidharth loved the script and so did Shehnaaz. Kaushal had lunch with them and left. Sidharth and Shehnaaz spent time with her parents and she slept on her Mom’s lap after lunch.
Sidharth, Mom and Papa gill went to another room as shehnaaz was asleep and spoke for sometime, casual chit chat nothing major.
She woke up after an hour, Mommy Gill kissed her forehead.
“Soyi barabar?” asked mom as she smiled at her.
“Haa, Maa aap thik ho na? sab ghar me thik hai na?”
“Ha Shehnaaz, tu kisi baat ki fikar mat kar. Barabar kaam kar, Sidharth ke sath reh. Sab thik hai. Baaz aur Qiran ki thodi bhot tension hoti hai bas.”
“Kya hua un dono ko?”
“Itna ladhta hai ussse, wo bachi bhi thak gayi hai tere bhai ke nakhre leke. Bhot bhadak jata hai uspe, aur pata nai kyu, aaj kal inke jhgde zyada ho rahe hai.”
“Aap fikar nai karo, wo aap log ke sath jaa raha hai abhi aur aane wale hafte me uska shoot hai Mumbai aaega to mai aur sidharth dono baat karenge, aap tension mat lo.”
She got up and hugged mom and kissed her cheeks. They walked out of the room where everyone were sitting and she sat with Sidharth. He wrapped his arm around her, “Uth gayi. Ye le chai.” He said as he added extra sugar to her cup and handed it to her.! They had an amazing family time together and her parents had a late nightflight, back to Punjab with Baaz.
Baaz joined them for dinner and Sidharth went to drop them at the airport. Shehnaaz was already asleep when he came back. He kissed her forehead and wore the cclothes she took out for him and went to bed. She crawled towards him as she felt his presence and he happily took her in his arms and they both fell asleep.
They woke up fresh the next morning. He finished his workout while she spent time with mom and they made breakfast together.
Sidharth joined them as his workout got over. As a habit, she handed him his protein shake and he thanked her.
They had breakfast together and Sidharth and Shehnaaz took a shower and were ready to meet Vikas, fir signing the contract of the project.
In the car, Sidharth was completely into her and she was a little lost. He understood it and asked her, “Baby, kaha khoi hui hai?”
“Kuch nai.”
“Bol na please. Tujhe pata hai tu jhut nia bol sakti to try bhi kyu kar rahi hai.”
“Abhi man nai hai, bolungi tujhe, thodi der se.”
He agreed and didn’t force her. They reached the restaurant where they were meeting Vikas and settled with Kaushal along.
He narrated the script in detail and he did an amazing presentation where along with the scripts and dialogues he also stuck pictures of the outfit of every scene. He had planned all the days and scenes accordingly. He gave both Saturday and Sunday off since he knew how good SidNaaz perform when they are together. He kept the sides ka shoot on Saturday too and Sunday holiday for everyone.
Sidharth and Shehnaaz loved the script and everything and they glanced at Kaushal once and he smiled indicating his decision and they agreed too. They finished the signing process and had lunch with VG. Kaushal had to finish some last moment work in Shehnaaz’s studio so he left. Sidharth and Shehnaaz had planned to go to their studios and relax the night there only.
“So guys, I am really happy for you both.” Said Vikas as she filled Sidharth’s plate and then hers. “To see You both in Bigg Boss to now when Khushi is filling your plate. I just love you guys.”
“We love you too VG!” said SidNaaz in sync and they continued their lunch. It was a happy moment. They hugged VG once done with lunch and called Mom informing about a project together.
“Sidhaaartth! Mujhe batane de please.” She made a puppy face and he kissed her cheeks as he handed her the phone.
“Maaa, maaa maaaa..” said an excited Shehnaaz and Mom disconnected the voice call and immediately video called Shehnaaz.
She saw Shehnaaz, smiling ear to ear and her bunny teeth popping out making both Mom and Sidharth chuckle, she was their bundle of joy in real sense!
“Haa mere bache, Bata bata kya hua? Itni excited??? Sidharth ke sath wo wala prank kari kya jo tu plan kari thi?” aksed Mom, a little excited herself but Sidharth’s expressions changed, “Acha hai sahih ai sahih ai. Karo planning dono mere against. Mai baat hi nai karunga.” He ranted.
“Meri satayi hui Bahu, thoda thand rakh, Shehnaaz tu bata jaldi hua kya hai?” Mommy turning into Shehnaaz, her accent saying it all and the comfort they shared, was commendable and so pure.
“Ha to Maaa, Humari sath me ek aur web series aa rahi hai! Monday se shoot start hoga. Mai bho zyada excited hu.”
“Arey wah! Mere bacho. Khush raho aise hi. Ab kya plan hai? Jaake studio dekh aao abhi tak dekhe nai ho. Dinner mai bhijwau ya tumlog aaj bahar se khaoge? Aur ye batao, fridge hai waha?” asked Mom.
“Haa Maa, maine iske studio me rakhwaya hai fridge. Iske protein shake ke liye aur khana bho kam khata hai, isliye.” Said Shehnaaz. Mom and Shehnaaz completely side lining Sidharth. He showed that he was getting jealous but his heart swelled up with love each time he would see Shehnaaz and his Mom gelling up like this. They way Mom always took her side and Shehnaaz never said no to mom, took care of her medications and always informed her about everything, never kept her feel like she is a mother in law. The families were blessed when these two souls met, fell in love and remained in love even after crossing many hurdles. That’s what kept the families in touch and happy at the same time.
“Ho gaya tum dono ka to mujhe bhi attention dedo thodi.”
“Ha tere liye daal chawal banai hu aur Shehnaaz ke liye Naira ne aaj Fried Rice aur Manchurian banaya hai. Mai dono bhej dungi. Wo bhot excited thi aaj usne bina Preeti ki help ke banai hai.” Said Mom to which Sidharth again sulked and Mom winked her eyes and Shehnaaz understood that Mom was just pulling his leg and told mom, “Mai dekh lungi. I love You Maa.” Mom gave a flying kiss to both of them and Sidharth smiled before ending the call.
Once done with the call, he looked away through the window and she knew she will have to manaofy her big baby.
“Sidharth!” She called him as he wasn’t letting her hold his arm.
“Bebu, tu bhi Mazak karta hai na. ab maine maa ke sath kar diya to samjh ja na ab. Dekh hum ek dusre ke gift dekhne jaa rahe hai aise muh mat bana na please Sidharth.” She said as her hand rested on his thigh making him weak with her mere touch.
He couldn’t be angry more and he just looked at her, lost in her eyes that were filled with so much love, all for him. He couldn’t share her love with anyone. He possessively held her in his arms as this thought came ans crushed her as he pulled her even closer. His restlessness came ou of nowhere. Even after being married to her, knowing that she loves him the most he sometimes still goes into the zone!
She understood him and his moods. They reached the studio and he picked her in his arms. They decided to go to Shehnaaz’s studio first, which was Sidharth’s gift and he deliberately walked fast, asked Adith to unlock the door and he asked him to wait in the waiting room which was inside the studio. He took Shehnaaz in the bedroom and she hugged him tight.
“Sidharth, shant ho ja. Kya hua hai?” she asked as she pressed her lips on his forehead, on his cheeks and slowly her lips travelling on other parts of his body, to calm him down.
“Shehnaaz!” He whispered as she pressed her lips on his neck.
“Ha Sidharth, Bol na Bebu.”
“Tu mujhe chor ke to nai jaegi na? pichle jhagdo me tu bhot time li thi manne me. Mai nai reh paunga tere bina, tu janti hai na Shehnaaz.”
