Chapter 38

“Shehnaaz, Meri Jaan.. Ab bas kar jaa…. Mera Babyy… Mai hu ab tere sath…. Koi kuch nai karega….”
“Sidharthh, Tujhe pata…. Wo na aise band diya tha….” She cried more and his heart broke into multiple pieces as she broke again….
“Acha, Mai jald hi us Chetan ki band baja dunga…. Mai bata raha hu… Mai nai chorunga usko… Mere pe bharosa rakh….”
Shehnaaz somehow stopped crying but didn’t leave him.. He also tightened his grip around her and she fell asleep… He adjusted their position and he slept with her…. He needed rest as well… She wanted to sleep in his arms and finally, after a tragic night, they both were asleep….
Mom was accompanied with Naira, She remained with her and they slept too when Sidharth sent a text to Mum and Naira informing that Shehnaaz has stopped crying and also fell asleep….
Shehnaaz shivered in a few hours and sobbed in her sleep… “Mujhe chor do.. Maine kuch galat nai kiya… Sidharrthh, Sidharth!” She said in her sleep and Sidharth woke up and cajoled her, “Bas bas Shehnaaz, Mai yehi hu.. Tu ghar me hai Baby… Relax please…” He said and pressed her lips on her forehead and wiped her tears….
Shehnaaz opened her eyes and looked at Sidharth and she held his tshirt tightly in her hands and he rubbed her back, “Mera bacha, Mai hu meri Jaan… Bas bas… mai yehi hu na kuch ni hoga… Ghar ke bahar guards bhi hai…. Chetan aur uske aadmi jail me hai… Koi nai aaega…”
“Mujhe chorega nai na? Aise hi pakda rahega na..”
“Ha mera bacha.. Mai aise hi pakad ke jaga rahunga.. Tu so ja araam se… Koi ni aaega…”
Sidharth was finding it difficult to see her like and he asked her, “Acha sun, dard ho raha hai?” She nodded in agreement so he held her in his arms, “Chal mere sath..” She looked at him with puffy eyes but agreed to go with him…
He kept her back on the floor but held her hand and placed it on his neck (Shona Shona BTS) and took out the chocolate milkshake from the fridge…
“Ye peele, mai fir dawai deta hu… Dard thik ho jaega…” He said as he dip a straw in the shake and got it close to her lips and she took a sip… He got relived when she sipped it…
He smiled after ages when she sipped the shake… She offered her the shake as she forwarded the straw towards his mouth and he took a sip and then kissed her forehead, “Shehnaaz, Mai tujhe kabhi akela nai chorunga, I promise…. Bas tu thik ho ja…” said Sidharth as he tucked the strand of her hair behind her ear and kissed her cheeks… He lifted her back in his arms and went to the bedroom..
“Sidharth.!”
“Ha Meri jaan.. Bol na, kya hua?”
“Tu sunega abhi? Ya subhe uthne ke baad..”
“Bol baby, jo hai wo bol.. Mai nai sounga tu abhi bol please…”
“Sidharth, wo mere hath zor se band diya tha… Maine bho bola ki mai zabardasti dosti nai karti hu fir bhi usne meri baat nai suni… Abhi bhi aisa lagta hai ki waha se aa jaega aur mujhe fir se chair se bandh dega..” She said as she started sobbing again and he wrapped his arms around her, “Baby, relax.. Aisa fir kabhi nai hoga… Mai kabhi aise akela nai chorunga tujhe… Hamesha ek body guard tere sath hi hoga… Baby, tu yaad kar jab tu akeli ghar se bhagi thi, dari thi tab? Han? Nai na… Meri baat maan aur aise ghabrana band kar…. Kuch nai hoga… Wo kahi se nai aaega… Mere pe bharosa rakh…” said Sidharth and made her sleep on his arm, “Tu so ja meri jaan.. Bina fikar kiye..” She agreed and fell asleep… He stayed awake until she was completely asleep and he then slept making sure his arms were around her perfectly…
She woke up again and Sidharth comforted her yet again, “Shehnaaz, Koi nai hai… Relax… Please…” He kept pressing his lips on her forehead and she hid her face in his chest… She put her hands inside his tshirt and dug her fingers in his bare chest… He removed his tshirt, “Ab khush?” He asked and She just nuzzled into his bare body and fell asleep…
He kissed her hair and his eyes went to her wrist and his heart ached… He lifted the sleeves of her tshirt and his blood boiled again as he saw her wound of her arm… He kissed her knuckles and broke down silently…
“Meri Jaan, I promise he will have to bear the consequences of each and every thing he did to you I literally promise…” He said as he hugged her tighter and fell asleep thinking that he had to be in full energy the next day to teach Chetan his lesson…
Let’s go to where Arjun and his team caught Chetan and his men…
“Bhot bada samjh raha tha apne aap ko… Hamari Shehnaaz ko kidnap karega… Tujhe mai thane me chal ke batata hu…” said Arjun and dragged him towards the police van and they team grabbed the other four men and the manager of the hotel as well…
“Sabko thane jaake pata chalega kiski biwi ko kidnap karne ki koshish kare ho… Mere dost ki biwi ko bandh ke rakha tha na ab tu jail me sadh…”
They all reached the Police Station and Arjun dragged them behind the bars….
“Chetan Kapoor, industry ka bada aadmi banta hai na…. Ab tu dekh tujhe teri aukat dikhata hu…. Tu ruk bas…” Arjun turned towards the other police men and said, “Isko pani bhi nai dena jab tak mai na aa jau subhe…” He ordered his men and left to get some sleep…. He sent a text informing Sidharth about the same…. Kaushal and Mehul slept in their office and Vikas slept in Sidharth’s guest room…
Everyone took a sign of relief as Shehnaaz was home but no one were actually satisfied…. They all wanted justice for Shehnaaz and Sidharth wanted Shehnaaz to be normal again…
He didn’t sleep the whole night and kept Shehnaaz in his arms… Even when he knew he should sleep, he couldn’t.. Each time he would close his eyes, the incident would come in front of his eyes, a restless Shehnaaz begging for mercy and this scene raised his anger even more..
Sidharth managed to sleep very late… He is a human being so sleeping is important… He was conscious in his sleep as well.. All her movements were noticed by him in his sleep as well…
Shehnaaz woke up and tried to come out of his arms as she wanted to use the washroom…. Sidharth woke up with a jerk, “Baby, tu thik hai? Kya hua? Kuch chahiye? Mai laake deta hu… tu baith…”
“Sidhaaartthh, mai thik hu… Mujhe washroom jana hai… tu so ja thodi der…”
“Mera Naam bol please..”
“Sidhaaartthh!”
“Meri Jaan” He said and sat on the bed making her sit on his lap and he dug his face in her neck, “Mai Pagal ho gaya tha baby.. Mujhe laga wo tujhe mujhse cheen lega…. Mera dimag fat raha tha…. Tu sun, abhi Jaa washroom aur brush nai karna, mai karwaunga.. Tere hath me Dard hoga na jaann..”
He knew it.. She was in pain, it was difficult for her to even move her hand and she couldn’t lie to him but she couldn’t even see him in pain…
The time she spent without him and the way Chetan and his men behaved made Shehnaaz go numb… Even when he wasn’t there, she was afraid of him…. But Sidharth didn’t leave Shehnaaz even for a bit…. He stood there like a rock solid support for her and made sure that she wasn’t scared…. Shehnaaz saw everything and understood no matter what will happen, Sidharth will be by her side always....
Shehnaaz agreed and called him after she freshened up and he brushed her teeth and washed her face…. He himself got ready and took her out…. Mom and Naira were in the drawing room waiting for Shehnaaz and Sidharth to come out…
“Shehnaaz! Mere bache!” Said Mom as she hugged her and rubbed her back…
“Mujhe maaf kar de.. Mai leke gayi thi tujhe lekin sambhal nai payi..”
“Arey Maa, aap maafi kyu mang rahe ho…. Mai Aa gayi na wapas..”
Naira hugged Shehnaaz and looked at her wounds… “Mami, aap doctor ke pass Jaa rahe ho na, mai bhi sath aaungi..”
Sidharth and Shehnaaz agreed and they had breakfast and left for the doctor’s clinic…
