Chapter 59: Come Back

Four days passed by. Lisa hasn't seen Jungkook in the office or hotel surrounding. She still waited for his call. She wanted to know his well being. She can't move on from him. Aren't they already broke up. She intended to use that time to reflect and appreciate herself.

Kun also has been pestering her since the day she said he should be her younger brother. He called her Li Jie(big sis Li) and sent her jokes, memes, or any funny videos every day to make her smile. She appreciated his effort. She managed to divert her attention from a certain someone.

However, she still desired some times alone.

Luckily, it was Sunday, Lisa was free from mentoring classes and decided to go to the stable to kill times. this time they allowed her to take care of a pregnant horse named Sunny.

Lisa was assisted by a helper to show her how to bathe the horse. Lisa wasn't aware that animals do have specific shampoo for their fur. After grooming the horse, Lisa cleaned up her stable by scooping away the poops and old hays. She was all wet and stinky. She needed to shower badly but she was too lazy to get back into her room. She removed her jacket and placed it outside Sunny's stable and leaned against the wall.

She took out a chocolate bar that she brought and unwrapped the wrapper. Lisa ate half of the chocolate bar but Sunny the horse saw the chocolate and nudged Lisa to give her some.

"No Sunny, this is not for you. You cannot eat chocolate." Lisa pushed her face away from her as she took another bite.

Sunny snorted as if she was not satisfied with the excuses and tried to act snuggly.

"Nope. Not gonna work Sunny. Eating sweets will give you trouble to give birth later." Lisa patted Sunny's stomach. Caressing her bump with care and pushing her face at the same time. Another bite entering her mouth.

Sunny was persistent that she wanted chocolate. So, she decided to act mischievously...

"Yah, do you just farted? What did you eat? The smell's horrible." Lisa covered her nose with her hands and ran a little bit farther from Sunny. The horse was snorting mockingly at her. The remaining chocolate in her mouth made her want to gag.

After a while, she heard laughter coming in her direction. They must be laughing at her and heard Sunny's atomic bomb. They were standing in front of Sunny's table. A vet, Angel, a few gentlemen, and... Jungkook! She was stunned to see him that day after day not seeing him.

The others were still laughing but he just stood there being indifferent. Lisa's eyes focused on him. He looked different. His aura changed. Lisa can recognize who she was facing. Angel pulled her up and said something that she didn't bother to listen to. Something about closing the stable...

Jungkook was standing right in front of her in the suit that he wears whenever he attends his business venture. His hair was not messy and gelled nicely. He looked so handsome and charismatic. Her heart was awing over him once again. He looked almost similar to the old Jungkook with the mix of daring Jungkook that she recently met.

He pulled her closer and his hand trying to reach her cheeks. Lisa was not ready for any close kinship with the unknown personality. She didn't want to be stuck in another love story with another personality. But what can she do, she already whipped to the new Jungkook.

In his hand, there was a handkerchief. He gently wiped her cheeks and mouth that stained with chocolate. Lisa used the chance to study his face carefully, looking for any sense of familiarity. Once a while, he stopped to give her his bunny smile. He caught her staring!

"Wash your hand. You are eating like a kid, so messy. And you keep staring at me like that. You don't even say thank you." He folded the dirty handkerchief into his pocket.
