 "Who are they?"

"They are my business partners from Taiwan. All the things we discuss, I can't process them. They made me feel dizzy and cannot concentrate. Then Angel said you were outside, I felt refresh."

Her anger subdued. She felt bad for his condition.

"Lily wants to see me? You must be missing me." He grinned widely.

He started to call her by that name. It was nice to hear it again after a while.

She felt bad for what she was about to tell him. She thought she could keep him off after two weeks. But her plans ate her.

"I miscalculated the date that I will return to Korea. I still got four weeks more."

"That's good. We can spend more times together."

Lisa shook her head.

"No. It shouldn't be this way. I don't want to involve with you more than I should do or worse, lead you on. We are strangers and about what I said before, regarding we, being friends, I want to take it back. We should be acquaintances."

"But you agreed?"

"Yes, I was. And I admitted that I was not in the right state of mind. I was to caught up with my feelings. We wouldn't make it. WE can never happen. Maybe... in my mind, you're just a rebound." His face expression changed.

She realized she was too harsh but she needed him to stay away from her. He was tormenting her from inside.

Seeing no reaction from Jungkook, Lisa walked to the door before his voice stopped her.

"I really want to know that guy. What made him so special that you can't ever forget about him until now. You are missing him like crazy, even though he left you."

Lisa blinked her eyes. trying to keep her tears from flowing.

"Rebound? That's what I am to you?" He scoffed.

No answer.

"It's so cruel, I would have accepted any other excuse but rebound? All this time, are you just pitying me? You are not sincere to befriend me? This is bullshit!" He was fuming.

"It's not my fault that he came to me first. I loved him first. You can't blame me since you are the one that demands my attention. I'm sorry that I mislead you."

"He affected you, a lot. Don't you realize? You cried this morning because of him, aren't you? I thought you were worried about me passing out. He's always in your mind. He was not a gentleman or a good man. He left the girl that loves him so much."

He was unsatisfied with Lisa's response. She was giving him lame excuses.

"Jeon Jungkook, you know nothing. You don't know who he is. Don't badmouth him!" Lisa's face grew darker.

"Even though I don't who he was, the effect he left on you was too obvious. You mixed up your personal and work stuff. This is so unprofessional of you. Find someone new. Life must go on. He's not the only man in this world. There's plenty that can replace him. Just open your heart. You act like the world already reaching the end. You are hurting yourself."

He stopped when he detected the changes in her face.

She snapped.

"No one! No one compares to him! Not even you! One more time you badmouth him, I'll cut your tongue!" Lisa dashed out from his office and slammed his door hard.

Her feet led her way from his office to nowhere. She was suffocated being within the hotel area. There's no way to hide from him. It was his hotel, he could just call his staff to ask her whereabouts.

Lisa chose to hide in one of their conference rooms that their production crew used their meetings. She picked the farthest corner, where chairs where they stacked together. There were tall enough to hide her from open eyes. She sat on the floor with her head on her knees.

Lisa hated crying, but since he returned, she frequently cried. When James asked if she wants to go home with them, she refused thinking to reminisce their memories there. But who would have thought, the devil appeared so sudden.

Her life became a mess. She met two Jungkooks three months her stay in China.

"Can I sit here?"

He found her. How did he even found her?

Lisa kept her previous position and ignored his presence. He sat next to her.

Lisa played with her engagement ring, pulling it in and out. It was getting looser by day. She was losing weight.

"I'm sorry."

Silent. She was tired physically, mentally and emotionally.

"Seriously, I'm sorry."

Since their argument won't go anywhere and considering he was still her senior.

"Apology accepted. Maybe you're right. I should quit my job and take some rest."

"I didn't mean it that way. I was jealous with... you know."

Lisa laughed as he tried not to mention him. Her body shook and her loose ring fell off from her finger and rolled on the floor. It was rolling away to fast. Lisa's heart was beating like crazy.

'Please no. Not that ring.'

Jungkook quickly ran for it and caught it before it left the room. He took it back to her. Lisa was relieved.

Lisa offered her palm to receive the ring, but Jungkook had another idea.

He reached for her hand and slipped the ring into her finger himself.

His face was so calm, patience and cool putting the ring. The same expression when he put the ring on her long ago.

Nostalgic!

Jungkook noticed Lisa was staring at him.

"I don't mind being stared by you forever." He teased.

Lisa let out a chuckle.
"About what I said just now... you are not his rebound. You are someone special to me. But not as special as him. I felt vulnerable in your presence. In a good way, of course, I'm afraid, that I will forget him when I'm with you. I'm used to feeling safe in his arms and then you came. I was confused. I don't want to forget him. I was convincing myself."

"I know. So, I shall punish."

"What punishment?"

"Have lunch with me."

"When?"

"Now."

"Now?! Where?"

"Just come with me."
