"You must have good body flexibility and balance when you're doing your moves. I believe you all already have those. You also need to increase your stamina more in this show because you needed to improve a lot in three months. Now, show me the steps."
Lisa and other dances instructors observed the trainees' progress. All of them were preparing for their first stage. Lisa wanted all trainees to do their best.
"For today, I will observe you guys by groups. So, please take turns to come into my class in room 3."
When the first group entered, Lisa had the stereo audio ready and they started dancing. Lisa sharply observed all trainees' movement and pointed out their mistakes.
"You don't have to lean backward. Just stay in the middle and wave." She demonstrated the choreography to the trainee.
The practice went on for several hours until all groups met her and left.
One of the trainees from the last group approached Lisa. She was Handong from Dreamcatcher.
"Lisa sunbae. I am your fan. I love Blackpink sunbaenim very much. You guys are my inspiration." She said excitedly. Lisa chuckled at her awestruck expression.
"Thank you for loving us, Handong. Why are you joining this show when you already debuted?"
"I want to improve. I barely got any line in our group. I want to turn over a new leaf."
"You can do this! Please continue to support us, will you? I know you can do well in this show." Lisa said and winked at Handong and held her shoulders. The girl nodded vigorously her eyes were gleaming with admiration.
"Yes sunbae, I will give my best." Handong eyes caught something at Lisa's finger.
"Sunbae, you have a nice ring there. That's not a normal ring though. It looks like an engagement ring somehow."
Handong's remark made Lisa pulled her hands away and hid them behind her back. How can she forget to remove the ring first? She was wondering if the other trainees noticed her ring.
"You think so? I just like it so, I bought it last night. Is it beautiful?" Lisa smiled.
"Yes. It is. I thought you are engaged or something." Handong laughed while scratched her none itchy head.
"Okay then. Go and take a rest. After this you all will have a session with Mentor Ella, right?"
Hayoung nodded and bowed to Lisa and left the room.
Once everyone left the room, Lisa looked at her reflection in the mirror and scanned her ring. The ring was indeed screaming an engagement ring. Lisa wanted to take it off, but she felt happy and proud of wearing the ring. It showed that she belonged to someone.
As she was lost on her thought, the ringing of her phone caught her attention. It was her fiancé.
"Hello there," Lisa said shyly. She still can't move on from his proposal at the beach that day.
"Hi, baby. Where are you? I miss you so bad right now." She can hear him. Was he sulking?
"I'm in the practice room just finished my session with the trainees. Do you miss me? Really? I don't believe you." I teased him.
"Are you making fun of me?"
"I don't know. What do you think?" She bit her lip to suppress her laugh.
"Not funny. Let's have lunch together."
"Where?"
"Somewhere special. You will love it."
