Lisa got trouble to fall asleep. Her ring finger felt empty without her ring. She grabbed a torchlight she asked from the staff in the lobby and walked back to the beach. Her mind trying to remember where did he throw her ring. How can she find the small ring on the wide beach and at nighttime? She crouched down to the ground to get a better view. Soon, gave up after a while. The ring was gone. Maybe it was a sign. It's time for her to let go.
Lisa sat on the sand and observed the sea ahead. The sound of waves calmed her down.
"I'm sorry..."
He stood in front of her. Lisa looked at him with love, adoration, and other mixed feelings. She was sad about their destiny.
"I know. It was an accident. You didn't mean it."
He nodded.
"I can't help it. It was as if you are cheating on me."
"Jungkook... his love was so pure and sincere. He loved for seven years without me knowing he existed. I cherish his love because of his dedication to keeping loving me until this day."
She consoled him.
"Tell me about him."
Lisa thought about how to put her words carefully.
"He was a special guy. Full of charisma, dreams, and happiness. He's a great singer, a great dancer, and a loving fiancé. He got a cute smile like a bunny. He's very strong too. And we are the same age."
Lisa paused to study his feature. Expecting any reaction from him.
"There are no words that can complement all the things he did to me."
"Who is he?"
"You will know sooner or later. For now, you just need to know that he was my brightest star."
"Is he a Korean?"
"Yes. A Korean man. He's my guardian knight. He protects me even when he's not with me. He always knows my state of emotion even we were not at the same place."
"What about me?"
His pouted. Lisa smiled because he looked so cute. He was like a child losing his mother's affection to another sibling.
"You are special... there's a place for you, in my heart. There will be no one other than you. Not even my fiancé can take that place from you."
What can she say to him? That he and her fiancé was the same person?
"Does that mean, you already forgotten him?"
"I will... slowly letting him go. I need time. For now, I can assure, its only you."
"Lily... I know you're lying. You're not good at it. Your eyes could tell. You can't forget him. You're here looking for his ring."
Lisa felt so tired. How to satisfy him?
"I know you will return. I have been waiting for you."
"I was telling you the truth. It's you. Always you."
Lisa was on the verge of crying. Why it was so hard to convince him.
"Don't push yourself anymore. Take all the time you needed to forget him. Lily, I want to only love me. Not your fiancé."
Jungkook opened his palm. There was the ring that she had been looking for.
"I don't have the heart... to hurt the woman I love. You are special. A rare gem. You are not an ordinary girl. I want you to myself."
He put the ring on her.
"Thank you. Jungkook... I'm glad that I like you."
She walked toward the sea with Jungkook followed her from behind.
