Jungkook was still in Korea. He promised Lisa to go back to China as soon as he can but the things in Korea seemed to keep him away from getting back. He was sitting in an office with a man that he considered his brother. The friendship they had since the last few years still intact. He sipped the coffee in front of him while thinking about the love of his life.
"How is she?" The man asked.
"Good. She smiles a lot nowadays and there's nothing more that I want." The man smiled and looked like he was contented with the answer.
"I'm happy for her and I am rooting for you to be together with her. She loves you but she was in denial. She had her pride and she was hurt at the same time.
We just let her do whatever she wanted back then without concerning what will happen. However, your presence affected her a lot. You were able to sneak into her heart but yeah... She hurt you too." He sighed.
"Lisa... How was she?" Jungkook was curious. Saying the name made him feel weird and awkward because Lily herself used Lisa as her stage name.
"She was a happy virus in our family. She boosted everyone's mood and a troublemaker. She loved challenges and outdoor activities and had many friends too. She was the opposite of Lily.
Lily was a reserved person but she was the one that can put Lisa in control. Lisa and Lily complemented each other very well. People always judged that we love Lisa more than Lily, but that's not true at all. We all love them both equally.
Despite their differences, they were both jewels that shine whenever lights shower on them. Radiating their uniqueness for the world." A tear came out from his eyes. Jungkook stayed silent. He was giving James some space.
"Jungkook, if you love her because of who she is, without concerning her history or imperfections, I shall give you my blessing. Our parents already like you and we were delighted when you came to announce your engagement." James patted Jungkook's shoulder.
"Thank you, hyung. I promise you to take care of her as I take care of myself. I will cherish her in my conscious and unconscious. I intended to organize an engagement party for our family and friends in China and I kinda need help because I want it to be a surprise."
James smirked.
"You have her members here. Maybe they could help but don't forget to talk to YG first."
"Yes, hyung. Of course."
YG BUILDING
Three Blackpink members were sitting in the meeting room waiting for the said meeting from YG. He said someone wanted to meet them. The door widened to let Jungkook came into the room. All members were shocked but still to greet him politely.
"Oh, Jungkook sunbaenim." Jisoo bowed followed by Rosé and Jennie.
"No need for formalities. Please let's have a seat." He sat opposite of the three members.
"So, here I come and to meet YG to arrange a meeting with you. Have any of you contact Lisa?"
"You met YG? Just now?" Jisoo asked. The other two members were smirking.
"What did he told you?" Jennie asked in amusement that made Jungkook sighed.
"I got a good scolding. He said I made a rushed decision. I reminded him of Taeyang." The Blackpink members laughed.
Who doesn't know about Taeyang informing YG about his girlfriend and a few minutes later announced his upcoming wedding to the world? He made YG speechless.
"We do video call twice a week. But we are busy with our solos and commercials, so the call is lesser now. Plus, Jisoo eonni is shooting her first movie now." Jennie responded.
"Did she tell you guys about me?"
"We all know about your story back then. And she did tell us about meeting you in China. Is there something that you want to tell us sunbae? This is abnormal if you just want to meet us for this mere talking." Rosé added.
Jungkook was nervous at her reply. The members knew that he got something to tell. They were good at guessing his intention meeting them. There must be something related to Lisa. He rubbed his hands and wiped them in his pants.
"I need you to help me with something." All eyes jerked at his request.
"What is it?" Jisoo asked.
"I left her..." Without he realize, Jennie's beanie hat already hit his face. He was confused for a while and blinked his eyes. Jisoo and Rosé looked at Jennie and pinned her on the chair as she started to stand up.
"Yah. You left her before, and you dare to ask to do the same thing to her!?" Jungkook stood from his chair and scooted away from Jennie's prying hand. She was struggling to get free from Jisoo and Rosé's hold.
"Let go of me eonni, Chaeyoung. I need to kill this guy." Jungkook lifted his hands in a hurry and denied the accuses.
"No, Nuna. I haven't finished talking. I'm not leaving her. Ever. If she wants to leave me, I won't let her to." Jennie stopped struggling and sat back to her chair.
"Proceed then," Chaeyoung said.
"I plan to organize an engagement party for us in China..." That time Jisoo was the one that stood up. Jungkook was getting annoyed.
"Heol. You are engaged?" Jisoo asked and Jungkook nodded.
"That girl, I will kill her. She didn't tell us anything went we called her yesterday. Jisoo was about to leave the room when Jennie and Rosé grabbed her body and pinned her on her chair.
"Please help me to find a dress for her and the gifts that you think suit her. I will pay you just need to choose and buy them for me. Just don't entertain her this one week with any call. Simple messages are okay or maybe just totally ignore her?" Jungkook placed his credit card on the table.
"I will send someone to fetch them for me and then you are invited to the party with my group members and families."
Rosé slid the card toward herself and saluted at Jungkook. She smirked looking at the card.
"Jungkook sunbae please considered that your requests are granted. We will choose the best gifts for her."
"Thank you Rosé-ssi." Jungkook bowed and Rosé nodded.
He left the room and decided called his flower, Lily. Lisa picked up his call after two rings.
"Jungoo, I miss you." Lisa cried. Jungkook's heart swelled in happiness listening to her voice.
"Hi, baby. I miss you too. how are you doing?" Jungkook heard a sigh.
"I am fine but you are not here." She was pouting on the other side.
"Oh, I thought you have someone new there?" He decided to tease her a bit. He was a little bit jealous when fans were having fun shipping her with Xukun.
"YOU KNOW ABOUT THE SHIP? Please don't believe what they are saying. He just being nice to me." She panicked and Jungkook chuckled at her reaction.
"I know you, baby. Just kidding. I love you very very very much. Make sure to eat well okay?" Jungkook saw his driver coming and parked in front of him. He needs to meet someone else.
"I love you very very very very much too. You are going already?" She heard the car's engine in the background.
"Yes, I need to meet some people."
"Don't work too hard. I'm not there? Who will take care of you?" She nagged.
"Okay, Mrs Jeon. I shall follow your order." She laughed. Jungkook let out a small smile.
"Jungoo. Tonight, the first episode will be aired. Don't forget to watch it. There will something that you might like. Or not." She teased him. Jungkook doesn't have to think hard trying to figure out what she was saying. She was teasing him.
