Lisa cried to her heart content. She let out all the sadness she bottled all these times in front of him. Jungkook was uncertain to coax Lisa's messy condition. Her sobs intensified and he was afraid of the bystanders will think he was bullying her.
"I just want an apology from you. I'm sorry for troubling you. You almost lost your life because of me." She continued.
Jungkook patted her back as his aid trying to calm her down.
"I'm so lucky to be loved by you but you aren't lucky to be loved by me. I feel that I don't have the right to seek anything from you. Not even a bit of your love. I feel so mad at myself... I hate myself. Thus, I choose to let you go. I want you to find your happiness. Now that you have finally forgotten about me. I feel so relieved."
She started walking back to the hotel.
Jungkook went after her. He managed to hold her hand.
"Lisa ssi, please wait. Thanks for the interesting..." His speech was left unfinished when they were circled by a group of men in black. Lisa gasped and let out a small shriek. Jungkook quickly pulled Lisa and made her stand behind him.
They were about eight to nine people with masks covering their faces. even with their masks on, Lisa knew that they were Lay and his friends. They were attacking Jungkook from all directions.
Lisa was feeling uneasy seeing one by one the men in black fell to the ground. Lisa didn't expect that they really planned to kidnap him. She thought they were bluffing. Lisa knew Lay was laying in pain after Jungkook punched him at his abdomen. Doesn't she mention that Jungkook learned to box before?
Poor Lay and his friends. Jungkook doesn't even know that they were his staff.
All of them ran away because they knew they couldn't win. Jungkook fished out his phone from his pocket to call his bodyguards. He walking back to her, that he couldn't see someone behind him, trying to hit his head. From the physique, Lisa noticed it was Lay that was approaching Jungkook. Lisa acted fast by pushing him aside and blocked the hit with her hand instead.
"Ouch."
It was hurt like hell. Lisa was crying again in pain. She cried a lot that night!
Jungkook who was just recovered from the momentum of Lisa's shoving, squatted in front of her. He was worried. His eyes scanned the redness that was building at her hand.
"Why did you block it?" He raised his voice.
Lisa who was crying was startled that he scolded her. She pouted.
"Why are you yelling at me?! I'm hurt right now?"
"Stay calm. I know it will hurt a bit, but hang on."
Lisa was panicked when he held her aching hand, rubbing here and there.
"What are you trying to do? Do you want to break my hand? No! Stop it! I still want to dance. This is not a cool type of revenge!" Lisa pulled back her hand but his grip was tighter.
Jungkook sighed. He ignored Lisa's wailing and focused on placing her bones back in place. He twisted and pulled her hands in different angles. Lisa's other hand automatically found the coconut tree that was right next to her and hugged it tightly. A few more twisted and turns, Jungkook snapped her hands that made her yelped.
"Ahhh!"
Jungkook let go of her hand and Lisa tried to move it a bit, trying to find any sore spot.
None!
Her hand was back to normal. No more hurt from the hit. How did he do that?
"You can just hug me if you want. Leave the tree alone."
Lisa rolled her eyes. In her mind, the Jungkook she met at the moment was the same pervert Jungkook she met weeks ago.
He took out a handkerchief to wipe her tears. He shouldn't have to give it to her earlier. She must be looking like a panda.
"I can wipe it myself." She snatched the handkerchief from his hand and dapped it around her eyes.
Jungkook left her and resumed calling for his bodyguards. For now, she shall pray that Lay and his friends won't be fired.
"I'll send you back."
"I can go back on my own."
"Arent you afraid after what happened?"
Lisa shook her head.
"I already faced the biggest fear in my life. So this is nothing."
"The biggest fear?"
Lisa ignored Jungkook and continued walking. He was tailing her from behind. Maintaining some distance between them.
"Lisa ssi, you haven't answered me. What fear?"
He didn't seem to want to give up.
"Losing someone..."
"Who?"
"Someone.... He keeps coming back, gone, comes back and gone again the next day..."
"Who is he?"
"You..."
{interval}
"Is there anything that I can help you with?" Jungkook asked when Lisa arrived in his office the next afternoon. Lisa was confused with his question.
"I was told by Angel that you wanted to see me."
"I want to see you? No, you are the one who wants to meet me."
Lisa was upset thinking that Angel tricked her.
Just in time, Angel entered and brought in two cups of coffee. They exchanged eye contacts. Angel was trying to give Lisa eye signals pointing towards the cups.
Once the cups were placed on the coffee table, Jungkook picked a cup handed it to her.
Angel was shaking her head discreetly. But Lisa still couldn't grasp her intention.
"Please enjoy yourself Lisa ssi," Jungkook smirked.
"Yes... thanks." Lisa sipped the coffee. It tasted awfully tasty that day. Lisa took a few more sips.
Angel was close in losing her mind standing behind Jungkook. Her hand gestures.
'Don't... drink... the... coffee?'
Too late. She finished the whole cup already.
