"Louis?" The three years old toddler ran as fast as he can to her beloved aunty. Behind him, her family and his family got out together to the courtyard. Lisa was speechless. She turned to the smiling Jungkook on her side. She smiled gratefully to him.
When Louis already hugged Lisa's leg, she picked the boy up and kissed his on his cheeks.
Their family were all in front of them and Lisa didn't wait long as she hugged her mother while holding Louis. Tears flow freely from both Lisa and her mother. Their sobs can be heard. James smiled knowingly looking at his two beloved women.
Lisa released her mother. She looked at James who was smiling at her. She kinda figured out that her brother was the one that scheming with Jungkook all this time.
"Oppa, you're bad." Lisa slapped her brother by his shoulder but still hugged him tightly. They swayed a bit.
They all settled at their respective seats. The sight of their family and friends made Lisa felt so warm and loved. There's nothing more she would ask.
Lisa was playing with Loius at their table when Jungkook stood by the mini stage with mic one to gain their attention.
"Good evening everyone. Thank you for coming even though it was planned in short notice. I couldn't thank more for everyone especially the Blackpink's member for becoming my partners-in-crime. A toast for you guys." He lifted his champagne glass.
"Cheers." Rosé, Jennie and Jisoo lifted theirs.
"To my parents, they made it here from Korea. I'm sorry if I troubled you to travel this far. But your understanding made me feel proud of being your son. A toast for you guys too."
He lifted his glass again.
"My little sister, I hope your brother didn't fail you with his craziness and rushed decision. Thank you for allowing me to seek my happiness. A toast for you too."
"My hyungs of Bangtan... what do I do without you? You take care of me until now... thank you for everything... a toast for you guys too."
His attention finally when to the last family. His fiancée. He slowly walked down the mini stage and placed his glass at the nearest table.
Slowly he was reaching her.
"Lily, I know you want to have our engagement properly, but I was too busy, and the times are not compromising with us as your being here for another three months. I'm sorry if I failed you as your fiancé."
He turned to her parents who were looking at him proudly. Their smiles were filled with hope, gratitude and happiness. Tears were visible.
"Mr and Mrs Bruschweiler, I'm not good with words, but I would like to say something before I make Lily as my wife." He looked at her parents.
"I don't want to claim your daughter as mine because deep inside, she's still yours and she will forever want to be yours."
"So, rather than claiming her as one of my possession, I rather offer another preposition..."
Everyone became confused.
"Instead of letting her go with me, would you rather allow me to together to take care of this 'flower' with love, with all of my heart, where I promise that I will cherish more than my own life?"
Jungkook knelt in front of Lisa with their families and friends as witnesses.
"I will love her forever and ever that nothing in the world can stop us aside from death. I will only love you, Pranpriya Lily. I will love you more than your parents do, will love you more than your brother does and will love you more than you love yourself. And I swear this is true." He put his hand on his left chest.
