Chapter 43: Cafe

The watching eyes from those who were away from the rain were on her when she entered the lobby drenching. Lisa avoided making eye contact with anyone. Eyes one the marble floor. Embarrassment built in her. She didn't think about her reputation as an idol with her stunt back then. Lisa knew some would have thought she wanted to commit suicide.

Reached her room, Lisa took a warm shower and changed into comfortable clothes. Laying on her bed and sleep. That's the best thing that she could do.

Angel greeted Lisa in front of the hotel café.

"Miss, you dressed casually tonight." Lisa eyed her yellow hoodie and sweatpants.

"Yup. It's comfortable."

"But you can't enter the venue. The dress code is to wear formal attire." She pouted.

"I'm not going to join you. I will just accompany you there. After that, I'm gonna go somewhere else."

"Where?"

"I have a date," Lisa said sheepishly.

Angel's eyes went wide.

"A date? With who?"

"It's a secret. Let's go. You are getting late."

On the way to the Diamond Hall, they saw luxury several cars dashed in and stopped in front of the hall. The valet opened the car doors one by one. Inside the cars, the Jeon family came out. The first car, Mr and Mrs Jeon came out, Somi in the second car and Jungkook in the third car. He was with Amy, arms linking together. They were happy. Jungkook was happy. Their attires were flashing and expensive with luxury accessories decorated their bodies. They were very different. They dressed brilliantly compared to Lisa. Her self-esteem plummeted. People could pass her as a peasant.

Lisa decided to ignore the arrival of the Jeons wanted to hurriedly get away from there. She doesn't want them to notice her. Lisa and Angel exchanged goodbye a few metres from the main entrance and sprinted out from there.

She arrived at the café. There was no guest. She's the only one there. She chose a table and ordered her dinner.

"What would you like to order to miss?"

"I want chicken noodle soup, dumplings and a glass of plain water. Why aren't you attending the event?"

"Employees aren't compulsory to go. A few staff needed to stay as a standby.

Lisa had her dinner at a slow pace. She got nothing to do anyway. She spent one hour to finish her food. She lingered at the café for a while. Doesn't feel wanting to left yet.

"Miss Lisa. You are here!"

Yuno the leader of the band greeted her.

"Hey, Yuno. Why are you here? I thought you guys are on break tonight."

He came and sat in front of her.

"Yes. But I got nothing to do at home." He rubbed the back of his head.

"Have you eaten?"

"Yes. I did."

"It's too quiet here."

"Yeah. Most of the guests attend the event at the Diamond Hall. That's why we are given a break."

The lack of guest in the café gave Lisa an idea. Its been a while since she sings in China.

"Let's have our own concert then. The night is still long and I have nothing to do tonight."

Yuno'eyes sparkled.

"Yes sure."

They both headed to the mini stage and Lisa stood in front of the mic.

"What song you want to sing?"
