Chapter 39: Break In

They arrived at the villa's gate approximately at 9.00 am with perfect disguise. What type of disguise? The maid clothing, fake wigs, glasses and Jisoo even recommended a fake mole. The huge mole with hair. Everyone despised the idea but she insisted so, in the end, she was the only one with the fake mole on the bridge of her nose.

The minivan stopped at the guard post and the guard asked for all IDs before they can enter the villa. Luckily at the ID, there was no employee picture. The guard called their names one by one.

Lisa went by Ling, Rosé by Mei, Jennie by Qing and Jisoo by Xiao. All of them respond to the guard except Jisoo. Maybe she forgot the name on her ID.

"Xiao? Who is Xiao?" Lisa, Rosé and Jennie were panicked and Jisoo seemed to space out. Lisa nudged her to respond to the guard. Jisoo quickly lifted her hand as respond. Well, she can't reply in Chinese.

Once they passed the guard post, all of the heaved a relieved sigh.

"Eonni, you almost blew us away. Focus Eonni." Jennie gripped her shoulder.

Lay came to them and behind him was his cousin. Her name was Lei. We entered the villa via the backdoor following her fast footsteps. They stopped at the kitchen.

"Master and Madam Jeon are currently not at home, so you are safe for now. But I can't guarantee when will they return. Please be aware of time. At the staircase, they are two bodyguards. I will make them leave the spot later for a while. But you must hurry."

No time for crying. She went there for a purpose. She scanned the surrounding for any sign of Jungkook. His room was big with several small rooms in there. Lisa went to the first door on her right. His office and library.

No one there. She went to the next door and the next one. All the rooms were empty. Where is he?

Suddenly, she felt someone was watching her. Someone's behind her! Lisa was about to turn around when she was pushed to the floor with her right hand being twisted.

She was caught!

She tried to fight back using her left hand but it was caught too. The person was too strong. Lisa was thrashing in pain.

"Who are you?" A voice whispered in her ear.

Lisa paused.

"How did you get in here?"

She forgot how to breathe.

"Answer me!" She no longer felt the pain.

"Who are you?" This time his voice raised a bit.

"Lily..." Her eyes watered.

"Who?"

Pang. She felt her heart broke. Jungkook didn't recognise her.

"Don't you remember me?"

"No." He replied. Lisa was not satisfied.

She asked again.

"Don't you recognise me?"

"No. I have never seen you before."

"Kookie...please you hurt me. Let go of me."

Lisa kept her mouth shut.

Slowly Jungkook let Lisa go. Lisa tried to control her emotion. He was standing behind her. He was vulnerable. She must approach him carefully.

Junkook was looking at Lisa seriously. He doesn't recognise her as a co-idol either because of her disguise.

"Now tell me. Who are you? Have we met before?"

Despite his serious expression, Lisa can't deny he looked good in her eyes. everything about him screamed perfection.

Lisa hasn't finished her words when his bedroom door busted opened from outside. Mrs Jeon with bodyguards holding her members. They all shocked that she managed to meet him.

"How did you get in here?"

"Lily, please have a seat."

She looked nervous and guilty.

"I hope you understand his situation. The doctor is observing him right now. We keep his condition from outsiders. We want him to fully recover."

"He hasn't recovered?"
