Chapter 17: Match Made in Heaven?

Jungkook's apartment

After receiving a call from his father from Busan last night saying that their hotel in China was facing a financial issue and his father was unable to go there by himself, he requested Jungkook to fill in his place. He had no objection because BTS was on break and members were focusing on solo activities. Jungkook just finished his solo activities last week and was free by doing nothing.

Luckily, his parents forced him to study in college in MBA because he knew they have no one else to cover if anything happened to their businesses. Somi can't help much because she doesn't know a thing about our family business. Jungkook told Bang PD about the possibility of him being away in China for a certain amount of time, based on the severity of the problems.

A notification entered his phone. He took a peek from the lock screen to see from who it was. It was BamBam. He opened the message.

BamBam: Yo, JK. Do you want to know something?

JK: What now? I am kinda busy at the moment.

BamBam: Busy with what? You just finished your solo promotion, right?

JK: I'm going to China soon.

BamBam: OMG. It this match made in heaven?

JK: What? Match made? What are you trying to say?

BamBam: I want to say about something or rather, someone will go to China to become a mentor in China for the next few months.

JK: Oh really? Who?

BamBam: Guess!

JK: Hey dude. I have no idea!

BamBam: Its L-I-S-A

Jungkook's mind became blank for a while. Its had been a while since he heard the name except for the news articles and television. It was four years since they last saw each other. How as she coping all these years? Four years of break up, he thought but ironically, they're not even dating each other. He missed her. Very much.

BamBam: Hello? Are you there? Did he just hang me up? Yah JK!

JK: Ah yes. I heard you. Good for her then. She had been hiding the public too long and barely did her solo promotion. Maybe this is her chance in shinning back like before.

He said in a lower tone. He remembered her red eyes from the tears that he caused. He can't get her back. He thought he was a loser.

He admitted he was angry, and the emotion got the best of him. The day when he and Somi announced their relationship to the public, Jungkook don't expect to see Lisa there and the worse thing was when she saw them on the stage. She misunderstood things and he wanted to go after her but Somi held him still. She said Lisa not worth his love. Lisa attacked him with my most vulnerable weakness.

BamBam: Maybe. But just you said you're going to China too. For what?

JK: Got some problems with one of our family hotels. Just fill my dad in.

BamBam: I hope for you to meet her there, Jungkook. Your story is quite tragic and messed up. I will call you later. Keep me update will you?

The call ended. Jungkook was facing his ceiling. He grabbed his phone and dialled a person. But once again, the call automatically directed into the operator. She no longer used the number. Her Instagram's account also had been deleted.

"I miss you so much, Lily." He slept with tears flowing down on his pillow.
