Stretcher waited for them when they arrived at the hospital. Jungkook was transferred to the emergency room for examination. Lisa followed him refused to let him lose from her sight.
A doctor and nurses carried their equipment to his bedside. His blood pressure, pulse, heartbeats and all over his body were examined. Stethoscope ran over his abdomen. She prayed that everything will be okay.
The male doctor changed his attention to her.
"Miss, are you the one that brought him here?"
"Yes." She wiped her remaining tears. Her voice was hoarse.
"Can you tell me what happened?"
She tried to recollect her memories as best as she can.
"He fell from his horse... I tried to wake him, but he doesn't respond."
"When and how was his position?"
"Around 3.00 am. He was facing the ground." The doctor jotted down the note and left again.
They proceeded to examine his body for any injury.
The doctor came back.
"He seemed fine externally. We will scan him for any internal bleeding."
Suddenly her phone rang. James was calling her. The doctor signalled her to pick up her phone first.
"Lisa, where are you? Its 4.00 am now! Jisoo said you're not in your room!"
Lisa started crying after listened to his voice.
"Oppa... Jungkook..."
"What happened?" His was on alert.
"Jungkook... he fell..."
"Lily...relax. Tell me where you are now?" He spoke in English and the doctor with her grabbed her phone.
"XXXX Hospital. Please come ASAP."
The call ended. Lisa patiently for her brother to come.
Lisa sat beside Jungkook in a VIP ward. She stared at his face, sleeping peacefully. Guilts were eating her at the moment. She took the blame for putting him in that situation.
"Don't worry. He's fine externally. We just need confirmation from the internal bleeding if he had any."
That's a relief. The male doctor from earlier observed his medical chart.
"Why he hasn't wake up?"
"He got a cerebral concussion when he fell. His brain vibrated and lost consciousness. He will wake up soon. Maybe goes blank for a while." Relieved.
"Thank you, doctor." The doctor left.
It was nothing serious. He faced Jungkook and fixed his blanket. She held his hand and kissed it occasionally. She ran her fingers over his cheeks, nose and eyes.
"Kookie-ya, I'm sorry..." She sobbed.
"You fell because of me. Please wake up. I don't mind if you don't want to marry me...as long as you wake up."
Jungkook gave no reaction.
"It's so hard to coax you now."
She put her head on his bed staring at his pale face.
"Lily..."
She lifted her head so fast, thinking that Jungkook had woke up.
A hand landed on her shoulder. James!
