𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘶𝘱

Its been months. More bodies, more people missing, more terrorizing. As the days go by, the empty i get. Voldemort was getting stronger and I cant get anything out of the horcruxes. Being stuck in the Manor all day was messing with me. Im going to go insane if I stay here any longer.

I mostly stayed in the room where the piano was. A place where I felt more peaceful. Until Fiona would ruin the moment at times. But now, im here by myself and slowly playing the keys. The music was dark, heavy. I smashed my fingers on the keyboards, i looked at the radio. I turned it on to see what was happening.

"Now for the names of missing witches and wizards, these are confirmed." My head fell. "Thankfully the list is short today. Jason and Alison Denbright, Bella, Jake, Charlie, and Madge Farley..." i closed my eyes, hopefully they wont say Lisa's, Blaise's or Katherine's name. "Lisa..." my heart dropped. "Scampers." Oh thank Merlins. Draco came back. He found me in the room. He shuts the radio off.

"I just need to know if they're okay." I wiped my nose. "Its been so long."

"I know. Lisa, Blaise are okay. They are in Hogwarts. Katherine is probably out there safe, you heard what Lucas said, she was fine. Nothing is going to happen to them."

"I listen to that bloody radio every day so i wont hear their names. Whenever it's something so close to theirs, i feel like i hurt them. I should be there with them. I should be there to save them."

"You cant put this on you. This isn't your fault." Draco saw that Daphne was falling apart.

"Isnt? Deatheaters, us, we're killing off wizards, witches, muggles one by one. Do you think thats fair?" He stood there in shock. She was just angry at everything going on. "What have they done to us? Nothing. They are just people, innocent people that they are killing. The only reason why they are dying is because they are trying to protect themselves and they get kill if they give them the wrong look." She slammed the case from the piano.

"You're right." He walks up to Daphne, wiping her tear off her cheek. "They don't deserve this. No one. Even if we put a stop to this, they'll kill us."

"They don't deserve this, nobody does. We're all the same."

"Come here." They got close and swayed side by side. Draco just wanted to hold her. With the world coming to an end, he wants her with him. "Merry Christmas darling." He kisses her head.

"Merry Christmas my love." He pulls away, looks at her.

"Lets go to bed, huh?" Draco takes her hand and headed up to his room. They laid in bed. Draco wrapped his arms around her and went to bed. Her fingers danced around his jaw, he looked so peaceful. He doesn't look scared anymore. Daphne thought about what her life couldve been if none of this happened. Maybe, maybe Draco and her were planning on moving away or start talking about their future. Kids? Whos home they're staying at? Imagine how happy she could've been if none of this happened. No pain. Tears flooded down her face. She just wanted to be happy again. Happy with Draco. Draco woke up, he saw her crying. He sat up, caressing her cheek. "Why are you crying?" Daphne just smiles at him.

"Just thinking." I put my head on his chest. I can hear his heartbeat. It was slow, so calming. He dozes off again. I took off the covers and tip toed out of the room. "Lumos." I whispered. My wand lit up. I walked around and heard talking. The door was slightly open. I hid myself behind the door and listened in.

"The boy got the locket."

"We got 3 more to find." I peeked in the room. It was two men in there. "I know where one is. Its safe." It was William and Edmund. The two idiot men that Lucas always has by his side. "Ill just ask Bellatrix for the information. We just need to find the diadem."

"Should we get Lucas on this? Severus is gone he'll be back by tomorrow night."

"Lucas is better."

"Good, tomorrow will head to Gringotts in the morning." Got it. I turned around, but I bumped into  Ralph.

"Well well." He grabs my arm and shoves me into the room. "Look who was eavesdropping." I fought with Ralph to let me go but he was too strong.

"How much did you hear?" William grabbed my jaw, making me look at him.

"Nothing, i swear." I lied. "I was just looking for Lucas."

"Ill let you both handle her." Ralph pushes me into their arms and walks away, closing the door.

"Whats in Gringotts?" I tilted my head, looking at Edmund. He looks into my eyes and stood up straight.

"Helga Hufflepuffs cup. Its hidden in there. Its one of the horcruxes." William turns to Edmund. I smirked.

"Edmund!"

"I-i dont know why I said that. It just slipped out." William snaps a look at me.

"You witch!" William grabs me and drags me to the room where Voldemort was. He pushes me in front of him. "We found this girl outside of the room, she was eavesdropping on our conversation." Voldemort looks at me from his seat.

"I was looking for my uncle my lord. I have to speak to him about my father's whereabouts." I stood up. "Its been a while since I've seen him. I thought he was in there, you cant blame me for looking."

"She made me tell her where one of the horcruxes are." Edmund points at me.

"This true Daphne?" Voldemort turns to me. I had to play innocent.

"Of course not my lord." I looked at the two men. "Why would you say that? I made you? A 17 year old girl forced a 137 year old man to tell her where a horcrux is? Is that what happened Edmund? Did i bully you?" They were now scared. The way i put it, Voldemort would never believe them now. I gave them a wicked smirk.

"Wait for me in the other room." He pointed at the two. They gulped and walked away. I made my way to Voldemort.

"I can keep you safe my lord. Thats why im here. Thats why i was born, to help you kill Potter" I whispered to his ear, side to side. "If you want to kill the boy, tell where these horcruxes are." He looks up at me. He was being drawn.

"Ill send you and Lucas tomorrow to look around Digaon Alley."

"What are we looking for exactly?"

"Helga Hufflepuffs cup, its in Gringotts." I have him around my finger. "I want you to look around, hunt down wizards and witches, then go to Gringotts. The boy will know its too dangerous to show his face. You will be good there, no interruptions." I made my way to sit across from him.

"And the others?" I kicked up my feet to the table. He was very hesitant to tell me. But I need to know. He studied me, trying to look inside my head but I blocked him.

"Rowena Ravenclaws Diadem, its at the school." I brought my feet down. "Sliver, has a blue gem in the middle." The one I was playing around with when Blaise, Lisa and I snuck out and drank in the room of requirements. I had it in my hands. "Lastly, my dearest Nagini." He strokes her as she slithered onto the table. Bloody hell, you made that thing a horcrux. So we are just going around and picking stupid stuff as our horcruxes? Might as well just make a bloody rat one while you're at it. It would be impossible to kill her since she's always by his side. "You must not tell anyone. Only you can know. If I hear anything, you will stuffer a painful death. But I know you will never betray me."

"Of course not, like Fiona had said, i am here to protect you."

"You can leave, i have to deal with those two."

"Yes my lord. You have a nice night." I walked out of the room with a big smile. I leaned against the doors. I heard screams coming from the room. It was William and Edmund. I gulped and went back to Draco's room. He sits up as he heard me come in.

"Where have you been?" He yawns.

"I was talking to Lucas. Just go back to sleep my love." I crawled back to bed. This is working out perfectly.
