I've been sleeping in late, i mean i haven't slept this good in years! I forgot how good it feels to close your eyes without seeing you know who taunting me. I feel more comfortable, I don't wake up in sweat or gasping for air.

I heard loud chattering and laughter, that woke me up. It wasn't Lucas, it was those two. I just wanted to sleep in some more. I growled, throwing my blankets to the floor and putting on my robe to head downstairs for lunch.

"She should be up, its noon." Alice started. "All she does is sleep all day and not do anything."

"All she does is draw in that stupid journal of hers and write letters." Leslie continued. I'm being judged in my own home, how lovely!

"Will you two drop it? You don't know what it is like to be Daphne right now. She's been going through a lot and I don't blame her. If you don't stop, I'm going to kick you both out." Lucas hissed. Glad to have him backing me up when I'm not there to defend myself. I walked into the kitchen. Leslie and Alice were disgusted by how I walked in, all slouchy, not covering myself, even though i was wearing a jumper and shorts. Alice hated the way I chugged the pumpkin juice out of the glass. Pissing them off was probably my favorite thing to do now. Maybe doing so will have them leave.

"Daphne, we have a list for you to do today." Alice slides a note to me.

"Clean the yard, go get flowers..." I read off the list. "I can't, I have guests coming over." I slide it back to her again. She crumbles the paper up, I just smirked at Lucas.

"Fine. Ill will start preparing the hall then, Leslie." Alice snaps her fingers and Leslie followed her like a lost cat to the hall. Once we heard them leave, Lucas and I burst out laughing.

"Be a lady!" I mocked her. "Clean this, clean that!"

"No lady should sleep till noon!" Lucas threw his head back. "I can see why Daniel left her."

"You mean to tell me, she was married?" I snorted. "Oh uncle Lucas, this is too much." I patted his shoulder. " I'm going to clean my room before Lisa and Blaise come." He nods. I saw Leslie messing around with the clock. She snaps one of the hands. My heart cracked. I ran to her. "What the bloody hell is wrong with you!" I snatched the hand from her. I opened the palm of my hand and saw my father's hand. She took him down. "You little shit! Why did you do this!?"

"He's dead. Why would you still keep him up there?" All I could see is red. "It's just a hand."

"Oh, sure! That's fine then!" I laughed sarcastically.

"It's just a hand, what's the big deal?"

"Because he's my father you dumb bimbo! This is my house, not yours, you should not be touching my stuff!" I shoved the hand in her face. She didn't flinch, she wasn't scared or intimidated by me. She should be. "You better watch out Leslie because you are on thin ice." I stormed out of there. I place my father's clock hand on my desk. Why doesn't she learn!? To get her off my mind, I made my bed, organized my desk, cleaned my bathroom, and changed into some clothes. Lisa and Blaise should be here any minute now. I swear if she does something to have them leave, I'm going to make her leave too. I ran downstairs, beating Leslie to open the door. Blaise and Lisa smiled as they saw me.

"Look what I brought!" Lisa shows me a bottle of fire whiskey.

"Come." I greeted them. Lisa was going to stay the week, keep me company for the funeral and help me through this nightmare. "We can head-" here came Leslie, waltzing in.

"Daphne, are you going to introduce me to your friends?" I rolled my eyes as I shut the door.

"Lisa, Blaise, this is my cousin from France, Leslie Cox." She bowed. Lisa and Blaise looked at me as if she was on something. "Leslie, these are my friends, Lisa Scamander and Blaise Zabini." She started to look at Blaise. He was getting uncomfortable.

"Are you single Mr. Zabini?" Lisa scuffs. Blaise froze. Didn't she see him holding Lisa's waist? Did she not see how Lisa was holding his hand?

"Hello, I'm Lisa." Lisa sticks her hand out. Leslie didn't pay attention, all she was paying attention to was at Blaise. "Blaise's girlfriend." Lisa growls.

"Let's go." I shoved them to the garden. They followed me into the maze since of course, I knew where to go. Lisa puts a blanket so we can sit, Blaise, taking out the cups and I popped the bottle.

"She looks like a pain." Blaise said as he took a shot.

"Did you see her drool all over you?" Lisa shakes her head. "She better control herself or I will do it for her."

"I don't know why she's such a bitch!" I sat up on my knees. "She took off my father's clock hand! She snapped it off!"

"She did not!" Lisa gasps.

"What you do?"

"Yelled at her of course! I wanted to hit her but if I did, hell will let loose. She's been here for a couple of days and acts like she owns the place!" I threw my hands up in the air. "Don't get me started on her mother!"

"I can imagine her. She's probably crazy." Lisa took a shot.

"Daph, I didn't know your family is crazy." Blaise sits back as Lisa laid back on him.

"They're not my family. Nope!" My cheeks were hot, I was already getting drunk, so was Lisa. Blaise knew how to handle his liquor, props to him.

"How you been?" Blaise had asked me as Lisa was looking at the roses.

"I had better days."

"I mean..." I knew what he meant. "About your father, Katherine, and Draco."

"I miss them. It just happen all of the sudden, you know? I got Lucas, he's trying to be a good guardian. We're both hurting. I can sleep now, peacefully." I looked down, playing with my rings. "Draco, that one, I didn't even see his body. I want to talk to Narcissa but, I don't think I have the guts. It's too painful to go there. The memories."

"Hey, you'll get through this." He holds my hand. Blaise Zabini, the sweetest. "You got me, you got Miss. Giggles over there." We took a look at Lisa. She was giggling and talking to the flowers. We both chuckled. "You're not alone." He looks at Lisa one more time. "Alright, I think miss. Giggles needs to go to bed." He gets up, stretches. I cleaned up while he went chasing after a very drunk Lisa. He carried her inside and went to my room. He sets her on my bed. "Good night my beautiful, ill see you Saturday." He kisses her. I smiled to myself.

"Good night handsome." She pulls him in for another kiss. "I love you."

"I love you too." I walked out Blaise, saying goodnight. I headed back to my room, seeing Lisa walking around.

"Let's get you to bed." I put her under the covers. As I sat up, she turns to me. "Yes?"

"How do you do it?" She's now sitting next to me.

"Do what?"

"Be so strong? Aren't you afraid you'll break one day?" I looked at her. "With everything you been through, I can't imagine."

"I guess, I just know how to hold it in."

"It's bad you know." She gives me a sad look. "Oo!" She gets up, grabs a book from my shelf. "My father used to read this to me." She plops back down on the bed. I rested my head on her shoulders. "Let's see, the tale of the three brothers." Lisa went on, Daphne's eyes got droopy, and fell asleep on her shoulder. Lisa heard snoring and saw her finally gone. She was happy to see her finally sleeping. Merlins she remembers how she used to be when she didn't. Lisa laid her head down on hers and closed her eyes.
