The kids tried to hang out once more but they always had mixed schedules. Draco had to do stuff for his father or Daphne had been in trouble and couldn't go out. It sucked. They both were dying to see each other. Draco even begged his mother to even ask Katherine to meet up for 10 minutes. Writing letters were all they had left. And its been 3 months.

Daphne changed a lot. She got taller, fitter, even more beautiful. What do muggles say? She had a glow up. While a day left go back to school, Daphne tried on her clothes and nothing fit her. After having a tantrum, throwing her clothes on the floor and through the window, she stomped down the stairs and huffing as the family ate lunch.

"Whats the huffing about?" Severus sat down.

"Nothing fits me!" Daphne drops her fork onto the plate. "Literally nothing!" Lucas snickers. "Whats so funny?" She closes her eyes. She didn't want to deal with this, this early anyways.

"I'll give you some Galleons so you can buy new clothes." He told her. Slightly better but not really.

"Thank you father." All she did was play around with her food. "Can I be excused?" He nods. Daphne picks up her plate and heads off. She sat outside, looking at the garden, sketching again. An owl flew by, dropping her off a letter. She knew it was from, shes been waiting all day for it.

Can't wait to see you again Snape. This year will be fun. Better be ready for trouble with the trio.

Daphne smiles. She rips a page from her book and wrote to him back.

Im always ready Malfoy. You better not put me under the bus this time.

She chuckled. She handed the letter to The Malfoys owl. Snape and the Cox siblings started to not be as worried about Daphne. She's been more responsible ever since the summer. Severus started noticing the letters, Daphne staying up late, giggling and talking to Katherine privately. Shes just a girl. Shes growing up.

"Ready?" Katherine sticks her head out from the door. Daphne stood up and went with her to the fashion stores. Katherine wasn't the greatest at picking out clothes so Daphne started to persuade her into her likings. In the dressing room, Daphne struggled putting on a sweater.

"They're huge!" She cries, describing her chest. When she noticed over the summer, she started getting uncomfortable. Always wearing lose fitting shirts.

"Its part of growing up dear." Katherine laughs from the outside.

"Well I hate growing up." She did. She lost a lot of her interests such as, hanging out with Blaise, reading, flower picking, and hanging out with her father. She never noticed it, again, part of growing up. One thing she did like was crushing on boys, which her and Katherine would gossip about.

"You say that, but boys would love you to dat-"

"Not one boy." She thought about Draco Malfoy. She couldn't stop thinking about him all summer, waiting to see him. He probably saw her as a friend and only a friend.

"Well. He's a gentleman now." Katherine refers. She really did miss him. Daphne takes one last look in the mirror before slipping into her sweater and buying the new clothes she just bought.

You know the drill, snape leaves a day earlier, leaving Katherine and Daphne. And Daphne packing last minute as always. As she was packing, she puts her photographs. She smiled down at the one Narcissa took of her and Draco.

The girls arrived early. Strange. Not really, Daphne kinda hoped that she'll see Draco, but didnt. She made her way to the Slytherins part of train.

"Why you stupid case!" I struggled to get my case onto top of the bars. Morticia meows. "I already done that!"

"I can help you with that."

"I dont-" i looked up. Malfoy? He changed. He got taller, manlier. His voice got deeper. His hair got longer, looking hot as he had it flopping over his head. I stared at him as he helped me with my bag. My stomach started to do something. And why do I like it? "Draco?"

"Hey." He stared at her back. She changed. She got tiny. Her voice sounded more calming. She dyed the two front strands of her hair blonde, remembering him about his mother. She looked beautiful than ever, i mean still is beautiful. Even that red tinted gloss she had on had, and the dark green nail polish, him doing cartwheels.

"Look at you!" She hugs him. "Wow, you definitely grew into your looks."

"So did you." He coughs. Ahh why he say that. "I mean you look good." He puts his bag next mine and we sat down.

"Its really great to see you again." The trained stopped, the lights flickered. That didnt stop us.

"Ive been dreading for today to happen." Blaise and Goyle came by, sitting next to us. Our smiles vanished.

"Daphne wow." The two boys drooled. I crossed my arms.

"Wow what?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Hey, her eyes are up here not down there." Draco backed me up.

"Sorry Daphne. You look good thats all. I like the hair." Goyle flirted. I saw the disgusted look on Dracos face.

"Did you hear?" Blaise smirks.

"Hear what?"

"Potter fainted because he saw a dementor." We all died of laughter.

"What a great start to the year." Draco smirks. As we got off the train, I waited to see Lisa. Lisa smiles at me and runs. She gave me a big hug.

"I know you dont like hugs but I miss you." I patted her back. I missed her. She lets me go. We began to walk. "So anything new? Besides how beautiful you got."

"Stop it Lisa. You look beautiful than me." I smiled at her. "Actually, me and Draco have been writing letters to each other over the summer." She squealed. I calmed her down. "You cant tell anyone."

"My lips are sealed." She zipped her lips. "But you need to tell me what was on these letters." We both giggled.
