Daphne Lilith Snape, the daughter of the Half Blood Prince himself, Severus Snape. The mischievous child, always up to no good. A little bratty you shall put it, always wanting her way and getting it. And Severus Snape knew the damage he was getting into.
The black haired, warm beige skin, dark lip girl lived with her head up high, not caring about what people say about her nor her father. If anyone dares to cross Daphne Snape, boy would they be in for a treat, last time Pansy did her dirty, she turned her into rat for a day. Determined, cunning, clever, stubborn, intimidating, and well, mysterious, the words that Severus Snape would put in.
A mini Snape their nanny, Katherine Cox, would always say. Katherine was there since Daphne was born, she wasn't her mother, but Daphne treated her like she was. Whenever Snape wasn't home, Katherine will always risk her life for her. When Daphne was little, Katherine would teach Daphne some spells, and taught her how to play the piano. A sweet woman, caring for a girl who can be a little bit of a handful. Daphne loves her with all her heart, shes the actually reason why she has some good in her.
Nobody knows about the truth about her mother, only Snape and Katherine and Lucas. Nobody even dares to ask about her. Daphne didn't even questioned it, all she cares about is for her father and only him. Daphne never thought about her mother, doesn't care for her at all. If she didn't want her, neither did Daphne.
Now, Daphne is starting her first year with her head up and not caring about anyone but herself. Then here comes Draco Malfoy, stupid, witty, Platinum haired, grey eyed, cheeky smiled, boy. They first indeed bumped heads at first, but became to like their company, awkwardly. I mean, they're kids, they always make things awkward.
All Daphne wants is to make her father proud of her, but how can she do that if all the focus is on Harry Potter? Jealous she was. She never really knew what real love was, or how to express it. When things became more interesting, Daphne felt safer with Draco, slowly trusting him. Same with Draco, but he had his doubts.
The way they both enjoyed their company, they were too scared to express their feelings, they showed it by picking on each other, calling them out. Tucking the feelings deep down, like their fathers. Showing no emotion wasn't a thing for them. Scared? Sad? You cant or they'll call them weak.
Daphne started to show her emotions and was in complete denial. She couldn't fall for Draco Malfoy! She was scared to even think about it. Love? Heavens no. When Draco discovered his feelings for Daphne, all he could think about was Daphne, her smile, her mischievous smirk, the way she called him by his name, the glances she would take whenever they eat. Daphne and Draco, nothing's going to happen to them, right?
