Daphne stopped talking to everyone, Lisa, Blaise, Draco, her father. Everyone was worried about her. Nobody would see her, only during class. Lisa checked the 6th floor bathrooms, asked Myrtle and nothing, Draco went to the tower and she wasn't there. Blaise even checked the dungeon.During dinner, Daphne sat away from Draco, not because shes mad at him, which she wasnt, it was to get away from his brainless friends. Daphne placed her head in her hand, playing around with her food. She hasn't slept for weeks now. She was going insane. Her eyes were baggy and red with purple.
"What's wrong with her?" Pansy looks at her. "She looks dead."
"Dont." Draco growls. "Dont ever speak about her. Dont you ever mention her again. Matter in fact Pansy, just leave." And as Draco was going to talk to her, she was gone.
Daphne made her way to the library, Wheres she's been all this whole time. She's trying to find more about her mom, but things aren't connecting. Sitting on the floor, covered in newspapers, she was too overwhelmed.
"Psttt." I heard coming from the fire place. My head snapped. I looked to see Lucas' face.
"Lucas?" I whispered as I turned to him.
"You're father told me to talk to you. Everything alright?" I just sighed. "Why-"
"Umbridge made a rule that facility and their children cannot see or talk to each other anymore."
"Umbridge? That bitch took over Hogwarts?" He said trying to make her laugh but didnt. "Hey, look at me." She looks up. "You're going to be okay-"
"Tell me about Fiona." She sternly said to him. Lucas tried to talk but it was all stutters. "I know she's my mother."
"Your father told you about her?"
"Yes."
"You saw the letter?"
"I didn't read it. I dont want to." Lucas sighs.
"What do you want to know?"
"Everything."
"Okay." He coughs. All the memories came back to Lucas, something he didn't want to look back on. His nightmares. "Fiona was different than all of us. She never liked muggles, hated them with a passion." Daphne was interested, leaning closer to the pit of fire.
"Is that why she became a death eater?"
"Partly it was because of Bellatrix, she was your mothers best friend. She taught her and showed her what death eaters do. She became obsessed. Fiona was your age she when she became one. The other half was because she thought she was going to make herself a queen, a goddess." Lucas' face saddens. "Fiona thought it was good idea to take the Cox Legacy and make it the name haunt you. She killed your grandparents because they'll get in the way of the power, you know that scar that Katherine has, she tried to kill her but failed."
"Why did you join?" He sighs.
"I only did it to save my family, long before Fiona joined. To protect Katherine. At that point, I was just trying to survive. Not all Slytherins are evil, but your mother was one of the evilest ones."
"She also killed the Potters."
"Yes. Only James. Your mother cared for your father so much, when she found out that your father was still in love with Lily, she was angry, jealous. She wanted to destroy her, so killing James had to do."
"My father was in love with Potters mother?" I sat there. He nods. I was named after his mother. "And I was-"
"Named after her, yes. Thats who your father loved the most." He tend to look over me, checking if anyone walked in. "Your mother is a very dangerous woman, Daphne. She cannot be trusted."
