 -------- Time skip. Few months.-----------

You flop into bed sore and tired but happy. Sprinter was pleased with how your training was progressing. You had been given a new routine a few days ago and it was going smoothly. You had decided to go to bed a bit earlier. Training was taking a lot out of you but was also giving you a goal and purpose. You hear a soft knock on your door.

"Come in." You say, sitting up.

"Hey Y/N." Leo says poking his head in. "Come on out to the tv room."

"Sure but why?" You ask.

"It's a surprise." Leo says closing the door.

Your curiosity peaked, you quickly run a brush through your mussed hair and headed to the tv room. You hoped that the surprise wasn't another one of MIkey's creations. No offence to Mikey's cooking. He normally made good food...but when he started to experiment everyone avoids the kitchen. You giggle as you recall the last time that he experimented. It was a disaster.

"What's going on?" You ask upon entering the tv room.

"Special training." Raph says.

"Huh?" You say "But I started a new routine with Sensei a few days ago. And he said I was done for the day."

"He said he was done with you for the day." Raph smiles. "We're just getting started."

"But it's almost time for patrol." You say.

"Yep." Leo says. "And you're coming with us."

"WHAT!!" You say.

"We're going to get you roof hopping!!" Mikey grins.

"Really?" You say in disbelief.

"You bet, Dudette!" Mikey laughs.

"Get on something dark and meet us at the exit in 5." Leo says.

"OK." You grin, dashing off to you room.

"So where are you taking me?" You ask as you follow Leo and Mikey up the surface.

"To the warehouse side of town." Leo says . "The gaps between buildings are smaller and less people are around at this time of night."

"Where did Donnie and Raph go?" You ask.

"They went to set up a few safety measures." Leo says. "We've never really had to teach anyone this stuff before."

"Great." You say sarcastically "I'm a test subject."

"No way Y/N." Mikey says completely missing the sarcasm in you voice "Your a friend. We don't teach this stuff to anyone."

Arriving in the warehouse district, you spot a couple of figures on the rooftops. As you get closer, you make out the forms of Raph and Donnie They wave for you to come on up.

"OK, Y/N." Donnie says "There is nothing to worry about. Raph and I set up a very large net at the bottom of the gap."

"Yeah." Raph says. "And he had us test it to."

"And when you get really good at this I'll teach you how to do it on a skateboard." Mikey grins.

"Thanks guys." You say. "So how do I do this?"

"You know how master splinter had you jumping from one beam to another to work on your balance?" Donnie asks. " And as you got better the beams got higher?"

"Yeah." You say.

"Then do it just like that." Raph says." It's the same thing except you have more foot space when you land."

"OK, I think I got it." You say "Won't people notice the net?"

"No one come around her this late." Raph says "And we have April and Casey keeping watch on the ground."

"Casey Jones right?' You ask

"Yeah he's another friend." Mikey says "You'll get to meet him soon. Now take that leap!"
