"What troubles you Y/N?" Splinter asks, as you sit down in front of him.
"I've been accepted into the CIA." You say. "I would go but..."
"You don't want to leave." Splinter says, stating the obvious
"Yes." You sigh. "I know this is an amazing opportunity but if I do this I might never see you guys again."
"Don't turn down an opportunity because of fear." Splinter says. "You must take chances to grow stronger as a person. And I highly doubt we'd never meet again."
"How do you know?" You ask, swallowing the lump in your throat
"I don't," Splinter says, "But nothing happens by chance. I believe that you came into our lives for a reason just as we came into yours. The next chapter in your life is starting and we may be part of it or perhaps not. And if not, then you'll be given new people to fill the gap."
"But how do I tell...." You trail off, unable to speak of your feelings for a certain turtle.
"I know of your feelings Y/N." Splinter smiles. "You'll find a way to tell him and if what the two of you have is meant to be you'll find each other again."
"Are you sure?" You ask
"I can not be sure of anything in this life." Splinter says "Look at who I was and who I am now. I could have never seen that. But I have seen enough to know that if something is meant to happen, it will happen. It may take longer than you think, or it may happen even though you wish it not to, but in the end it will come and you will understand why then and there that it had to."
"Thank you, Sensei." You say getting up. You head back to your room to figure out how to tell the others.
"Do not go with what you think others think you should do" Splinter says "But what you believe is right for you. Thinking of others is good and right to do, but sometimes in order for us to be at our best for others, we need to do something for ourselves so that we may be better."
"I hear what you're saying Sensei" You say, bowing and then leaving
"Remember as well Y/N, family always find each other again" Sprinter calls after you.
Those last words stick in your mind and heart. You knew them to be true. Many people move away from their families, and they always find their way back together in one form or another. Heading back to your room you try to come up with a good way to do what you need to do. It didn't take long for you to realize that the only way to do this was to just say it. You call everyone to the TV room.
