Sprain

The three of you get up the stairs without any incidents. Upon entering the first room, you take it to be another study. But looking closer you notice that the desk had personal effects on it and the books on the shelves weren't all medical.

"I think this was the doctor's private office." You say

"I would agree with you on that Y/N" Donnie says once again going straight to the bookcases. "This room has more of a personal and relaxed feel to it, rather than a professional one."

"I'm going to go to the next room." Raph says leaving the room "I've had enough books for the rest of the month."

"Go with him Y/N." Donnie says not looking up from the book he pulled off the shelf. "I'll be ok here."

"Ok." You say leaving the room to find Raph.

You head towards the next doorway your flashlight caught in it's beam. Just before you got to the door your foot goes through one of the floorboards. You stifle a scream of surprise and pain, and the sound echoes down the hall.

"Y/N!" Raph says popping out of the room you were headed to. "Are you ok?"

"I think so." You grimace "My foot went through a floorboard but i think it's fine."

"Let's see." Raph says squatting down to look at your trapped foot. "Hold still. I'm going to try and widen the hole so you can pull your foot out."

You nod and Raph slowly wedges his fingers in the hole and slowly pulls away at the wood. You hold back a cry of pain as his hand puts more pressure on the side of you ankle.

"I hope no one heard me." You say as Raph slowly works you're foot out of the hole.

"If they did, people would be heading up the stairs right now. "Raph says "And Leo and Mikey woulda been here by now or called."

"True." You say.

As your foot was now free of the splintered wood, you put some pressure on it hoping that it wasn't sprained. It is, pain shoots up your leg. But not as bad as you feared.

"Sit down Y/N." Raph says

"Why?" You ask, not wanting him to see that you were in pain.

"I saw that look on your face when you put pressure on your ankle." Raph says "I'll go get Donnie so he can take a look and you avoid any further injury."

"I'll be ok." You start to protest, but a look from Raph stops you. "Fine."

"I'll be right back." Raph says.

You sit down against the wall and examine your foot. The first thing you notice was all the small splinters that clinging to your pant leg. You set about pulling them all out as you wait.

Soon after you finish pulling all the wood out Raph comes down the hall with Donnie close behind, carrying a stack of books.

"I'm not that hurt ." You say staring at the stack Donnie was trying to balance. "What are all of those?"

"The doctors journals!" Donnie exclaims "I found them the large drawer of the desk."

"You didn't have to bring them out here." You say "We could've just made that room our meeting place so you didn't have to move them."

"See?!" Raph huffs "That's what I said!"

"Oh well." You sigh "I guess I could start reading one while Donnie looks at my ankle."

"I was thinking that we can call Leo and Mikey and have them come up and help go through them all." Donnie says rummaging around in his backpack. "Because we haven't seen any personal rooms till now so I would assume that most of the important info will be in the rooms up here. Like bedrooms and things."

"That makes sense." You say "I'll call them. Raph could you take the books back to that room? Pretty please?"

"Fine." Raph grumbles "But I'm not going to move them anywhere else."

"So what happened?" Donnie asks examining your foot.

"The floorboards gave way and my foot went through." You say pulling you phone out of your pocket. "I think I may have slightly sprained it."
