(ENG) Chapter Sixteen - Unforgettable Rite

Singto finally opened his eyes and regained consciousness after being infused for 15 hours in the hospital. He found Pha sleeping on the chair beside him.

Singto guessed that the man must be exhausted from hugging him all night, he watched the sleeping face for a moment, then brought his hand to touch the man's hair gently with a smile.

But suddenly he gasped and wondered what date it was today, and how long he had been in the hospital.

Singto glanced at the cellphone in Phana's hand for a moment and tried to slowly pull it out, but it caused the man to wake up instead.

"Aw, have you woken up?" Pha asked with a sleepy expression and immediately checked his cellphone for the clock.

"Is the ritual over and we're safe now?" asked Singto hopefully.

Pha thought for a moment and considered whether he should tell Singto about the last ritual or not, considering his condition is still sick.

But before he had time to open his mouth to answer, suddenly they were startled by an old monk who came to learn Singto's condition and at the same time to ask if they still wanted to continue the ritual to an end.

"Thank goodness, you've regained consciousness, how is he?" he asked Pha.

"Everything is normal, just a little fever and flu..."

"Then, when will you guys finish the final ritual?"

"Aw, there are still rituals? I thought yesterday was the last..." He paused and turned to look at Pha asked for an explanation.

Pha looked nervous and immediately racked his brain to think of an excuse.

The monk laughed and said before Pha. "Next is the sacred ritual and is the real ritual to end the curse..."

Singto furrowed his brows in confusion.

"The wedding ceremony, it is a real ritual..." said the monk. "Ying and Khan never get married, so the ritual is never finished, so you must finish it..."

He sighed for a moment and added.

"I know that you two already got married, but that can't be count, so if you are ready, come to the temple, I'll explain everything..." he said goodbye and left the place.

Singto let out a long sigh then got out of bed, he staggered for a moment, but he still forced himself.

"Where are you going?!"

"Of course get out of here..."

"Don't joke, your condition still hasn't recovered...."

"I'm fine..." Singto immediately changed his clothes and walked out unsteadily. "Let's go to the temple and get married again..." he said easily.

Phana immediately grabbed his arm and stopped him. "Enough!! I don't want to do it!!!"

Singto froze at once, then looked back and glared at him. "What did you say?!!"

"I said, I don't want to do it..."

"After arrived at the last ritual, suddenly you said you wanna drop it?!! You're just kidding, right?!!"

Pha took a deep breath and thought about how he should explain. "Look at you, you can't even walk straight, how can I continue with the ritual?!"

"So you say I should go back to bed so I can die in peace?"

"I-I didn't say that..."

Singto immediately cut him off. "I don't want to hear any excuses, as a real man you have to finish what you have started!"
