The Singto family opened a small restaurant on the bottom floor of their house, although it was not very big, it was always crowded with customers.

That afternoon Singto and Pha suddenly appeared in front of the restaurant and startled Singto's parents, both of them immediately rushed out and greeted them with a big smile.

"Why didn't you let me know that you were coming home?" his mother immediately hugged him to vent her longing.

Meanwhile, his father looked at Pha curiously and asked. "Are you a friend of Singto?"

Phana nodded and briefly introduced himself.

"Are you also a teacher?"

"He works in the prosecutor's office..." Singto suddenly interrupted, he knew his parents didn't like the cop.

Pha glared at Singto and wondered why he was lying.

"What?! Prosecutor?!" exclaimed Singto's parents, surprised and wondering how Singto could be friends with a prosecutor.

"Singto has never invited a friend home before..." said his father and immediately invited Pha to enter. "Do you have a business in Nong Prue or do you have family here?"

"Coincidentally he was investigating a case and stopped by here..." Singto cut in and swallowed nervously.

"Oh, I see..." The two elders glanced at Singto with a confused expression while smiling awkwardly at Pha.

"Is your friend going to stay at our place tonight?" his mother asked Singto.

"No..."

Suddenly, without warning, Pha wrapped his arms around Singto's waist, hugged him tightly, and interrupted.

"Singto was just kidding, of course, we will stay at home tonight, because Singto and I are married so this is also my home..."

Both Singto and his parents froze instantly with dumbfounded expressions.

"W-what did you say? M-married?!" Singto's dad and mom immediately stoke their chests and almost fainted hearing that.

"Un!" Pha nodded and added. "By the way, I want to get things straight up front, I'm not a prosecutor, but a police inspector, and currently taking time off..."

P-police inspector?!" exclaimed the two again in disbelief.

"Nice to meet you, pa, ma..." Pha greeted his parents-in-law with a big smile.

"What did you call!!!" Snapped Singto's mom. "My son can't possibly marry a man!!! That can't be happening!!! You must be only joking, right?"

"Sshh!!! Lower your voice!!!" Her husband immediately closed her mouth while glancing awkwardly at the guests who were eating.

"Aw, I'm telling the truth, we got married on the civil registry and it's impromptu, so we didn't tell you..." Pha tried to convince the two parents and then showed them the marriage certificate.

The two parents were shocked to see Singto's name and signature on the legal marriage certificate, they didn't want to believe it.

"T-this is impossible!!! Oh my God..." exclaimed his mother and staggered backward.

"Ma!!!" exclaimed Singto in panic and immediately held his mother.
