Phana drove along the Rama Bridge and finally found the fortune-teller, standing on the side of the bridge.

It was 11:37 p.m. at the time.

Pha stopped his car at the roadside and step out.

"I've been waiting for you..." the woman greeted Pha with a smile.

"Should I call you Unnasayya Ruanthicai...or Khem Permpoonsavat?" asked Pha sarcastic tone.

"You managed to expose my disguise for 20 years, I really underestimated you..."

"Did you kill your ex-wife?" accused Pha to the point.

"What do you think?" he grinned.

Phana was silent for a moment and replied.

"Are you now regretting and thinking about committing suicide to atone for your sins?" he glanced at the rope on the floor.

"Why do you think I wanted to commit suicide to atone for my sins? I didn't kill anyone..."

"You expect me to believe?" exclaimed Pha, raising the volume of his voice. "You killed your wife and took her identity, didn't you?"

"If I say she gave it to me before jumping to the river, do you believe it?" Khem returned the question to him.

"What did you say?! You must force her to do that, didn't you?"

[Phee Sua Village 40 years ago...]

Unnasayya was about to commit suicide by jumping into the river because she found out that she was pregnant out of wedlock, but suddenly she saw Khem floating in the water and saved him.

She then told Khem about her problem, to be known that the village chief Kithisarang wanted to find a new wife to get offspring and lured her into a trap.

Knowing that fact, Khem then tried to show sympathy and offered to become the father of Unnasayya's baby.

So that they got married. Khem works part-time at the clinic while helping to look after the daughter at home.

20 years later...

At first, Unnasayya didn't believe in curses at all, until one day her daughter was reported to have died trying to kill a man.

She was shocked to find a half-butterfly wing birthmark on her daughter's back while washing her body, yet she was sure that her daughter did not have a birthmark when she was born.

She begins to suspect Khem and was shocked to learn about Khem's true identity, who turns out to be the adopted son of the Khitisarang and his relationship with Ying and Khan. He also accused Khem of using her little girl as a guinea pig for his revenge plan.

After his daughter's mourning period ended, Unnasayya invited Khem to meet on the bridge.

"I should have ended my life and my daughter 20 years ago, instead brought devil home and giving my daughter as a sacrifice for your plan of revenge..." Unnasayya accused Khem to the point.

"Didn't you want to get rid of your daughter and wanted to kill her 20 years ago?" replied Khem. "I'm just helping you..."

The woman glared at him in disbelief, then laughed bitterly. "Then, why did you offer to be her father, why didn't you kill her before she was born?"

"Because I want to see her turn into a butterfly..."

"What did you say?"

"Have you ever heard of the butterfly curse?" Asked Khem and suddenly changed the topic. "It is said that butterflies are the reincarnation of the souls of unlucky lovers in this world..." he then took out two butterflies from his pocket and saw a live butterfly eating a dead butterfly.
