Chapter 53 - The End Of A Friendship?

Chloe couldn't wait for the weekend as she was going out with Chlo,Charlotte and Jess. That morning she woke and saw Philip holding Aubree while she was crying "why you holding her?" Philip frowned "she was crying" Chloe sighed and took Aubree from Philip closing the door on him "Aubree" Aubree was pointing at the door and crying "what's wrong?" Chloe had never seen Aubree act this way before "Aubree come on, what's this fuss about?" Aubree was screaming "Chloe is she alright?" Chloe shrugged as she attempted to calm Aubree down "hey Aubree its alright".

Chloe walked into school that day to try and settle Aubree but she was still crying. Arriving at school Chloe was confused as to why Aubree was crying like this "Chloe" Chloe turned to see Charlotte "you alright?" Chloe shook her head "Aubree won't stop crying and she's never been like this before" Charlotte frowned "have you given her a dummy?" Chloe nodded "she doesn't want it" Charlotte looked at Aubree "why you crying?" Aubree carried on screaming "I can't take her in there like that" Charlotte took Aubree out the pushchair and attempted to calm her down but it didn't work "right I've had it" Charlotte frowned as Chloe took Aubree from her "where you going?" "See a man about a baby" Charlotte looked confused "see Max" Charlotte nodded.

Max was sitting in the office when Chloe walked in with a crying Aubree "what's wrong with her?" Chloe shrugged "she's been crying for the last hour and half" Max frowned and took Aubree from Chloe and she stopped crying "are you kidding me?" Max smirked and got Aubree to sleep "this isn't fair" Max handed Aubree back to Chloe "I believe you should be in registration" Chloe rolled her eyes but smiled "its not hard too see why she loves you" Chloe walked out the office leaving Max standing there.

Chlo was walking down the corridor looking for Chloe when she saw Tom enter his classroom which made her frown as he told her he had an early meeting so she walked up to the classroom and what she saw made her angry, she walked in banging the door "what the hell is going on?" Tom and Charlotte pulled apart to see Chlo glaring at them "well is someone gonna tell me or what?" Charlotte couldn't believe that she and Tom had been found out "its not what it looks like" Chlo rolled her eyes "what is it then? An energy exchange" Tom sighed "look Chlo" Chlo glared "save it Tom" Chlo turned to leave "Chlo wait" Chlo turned to Charlotte "how could you? He's my Dad!" Charlotte felt guilty "I'm sorry" Chlo scoffed "I don't want your apology".

Chloe had just left the creche when she saw Chlo storming down the corridor "woah, where's the fire?" Chlo glared "I just caught Tom and Charlotte kissing" Chloe frowned "where?" "In Tom's classroom, Tom didn't even look guilty" Chloe sighed "its not the end of the world is it?" Chlo frowned "she's my friend and he's my dad, its wrong" Chloe looked at her "she was having his baby" Chlo rolled her eyes "I know, but think about it, when two people go through what they did they're bonded for life" Chlo glared "you sticking up for them?" Chloe shook her head "I'm sticking up for none of you, in fact I'm staying out of it" Chloe walked off and Chlo was annoyed.

Charlotte couldn't believe that Chlo had caught her and Tom kissing and now Chlo hated her, Chloe wouldn't hate her as she was fully supportive of them. Walking down the corridor she saw Chlo "Chlo can we talk?" Chlo glared "what could we possibly have to talk about?" Charlotte sighed "I wanna apologise" Chlo scoffed "I told you, shove it" Charlotte walked off and Chlo text Ben to ask how Sophia was.

Chloe sat in the common room working on something when Max walked in "Chloe?" Chloe wasn't listening so Max sat opposite her "Chloe" Chloe looked up "how long you been there?" Max frowned and noticed she had been crying "what's wrong?" Chloe shook her head "nothing I'm fine" "no you're not" Chloe rolled her eyes "I said I'm fine" Chloe stood to leave when Max grabbed her hand "you've been crying" Chloe sighed "look I'm fine okay" Chloe shook Max's hand off her and walked off.

Eddie sat in his classroom when his phone vibrated and he saw a text from Charlotte -

*Charlotte - I wanna move out.

Eddie was confused why would she want to move out "Mr.Lawson are you alright?" Eddie looked up and saw Chloe "has Charlotte said anything to you about wanting to move out?" Chloe frowned "no, why?" Eddie sighed "she text me saying she wanted to move out" Chloe was confused and sat with Eddie "Charlotte loves you, you're her dad" Eddie smiled "you think?" Chloe nodded "yeah, I may be blonde but I do have half a brain" Eddie laughed and hugged Chloe.

Charlotte was walking to Eddie's classroom as she sent him a text by accident and she needed to apologise. She got outside and saw Eddie hug Chloe so walked in "why are you flirting with Eddie?" Chloe frowned "what?" Charlotte glared "you're flirting, with Eddie" Chloe rolled her eyes "no I'm not, in fact I was comforting him because of a text you sent him" Charlotte scoffed "yeah right" Chloe glared "you sent him a text saying you wanna move out" Charlotte sighed "that was an accident, I never meant to send it" Chloe rolled her eyes "course" Chloe walked out leaving Eddie and Charlotte.

Charlotte looked at Eddie who spoke "why would you wanna move out?" Charlotte sighed "I don't, you've been amazing too me, much more than what I deserve" Eddie smiled "you deserve a lot more, me and Chloe, we weren't flirting, I love Rachel" Charlotte sighed "I've messed up with Chloe haven't I? She's probably gonna hate me" "Chloe could never hate you" Charlotte looked at Eddie "I'm sorry" Eddie pulled Charlotte into a hug "you are my daughter, no matter what anyone says" Charlotte felt her eyes water and hugged Eddie back.

Chloe sat in the creche with Aubree as she was screaming again "Aubree you can't see daddy again, he's busy" Aubree was crying "Aubs come on baby, smile for mummy" Aubree screamed louder and Chloe sighed to herself, she got her phone and text Max -

*Chloe - can you come too the creche pls,

*Max - on my way

Chloe looked at Aubree "your daddy is coming". Max walked into the creche and heard his daughter crying again "seems she wants you again" Max smirked "I don't blame her" Chloe rolled her eyes but handed him Aubree who stopped crying as soon as she was in Max's arms "I'll take her to the office with me" Chloe frowned "can you do that?" "I'm executive head, I can do what I wish" Chloe rolled her eyes but smiled and walked out.

Chlo went looking for Chloe so she could apologise to her for this morning "Chlo?" Chlo turned to Charlotte "what?" Charlotte frowned "have you seen Chloe?" Chlo shook her head "no I'm looking for her too" Charlotte nodded "well if I see her I'll tell her you're looking for her" Chlo nodded "same here".

Chloe went back to the common room where Jess was "what's wrong?" Chloe sighed "life is blooming difficult" Jess frowned "why?" Chloe shrugged "everything, friends, daughters" Jess smiled "you'll be alright" Chloe smiled "yeah hopefully". Charlotte walked into the common room and saw Chloe with Jess "Chloe can we talk?" Chloe looked up and nodded "in private?" Chloe followed Charlotte outside "look I'm sorry about accusing you of flirting with Eddie" Chloe smiled "I'd never do that, he's like a dad too me" Charlotte sighed "Chlo hates me" "she doesn't, she's annoyed she'll come round" "hope so".
