Chapter 65 - Attacker Caught.

Since Chloe had told Max she was in love with him she had barely seen him which made her confused. That morning she sat on her bed deciding on weather to text Max "Chloe are you alright?" Chloe sighed "yeah" Rachel smiled "Aubree has been fed and now she's sitting in her playpen" Chloe nodded "I'll just finish getting ready and then I'll come down" Rachel smiled "take your time love".

When they arrived at school Rachel could see Chloe was feeling down "Chloe what's wrong love?" Chloe sighed "nothing I'm fine" Rachel frowned "you know you can talk too me" Chloe rolled her eyes "I said I'm fine mum" Chloe got out the car and got Aubree out "Chloe wait" Chloe ignored her mum and walked off. After taking Aubree to the creche Chloe made her way to registration "you're eager Chloe" Chloe looked at Tom "I just didn't feel like waiting around" Tom frowned "are you alright?" Chloe nodded "I'm fine" Tom nodded just as the bell rang. Charlotte and Chlo walked into registration and saw Chloe "she's here" Charlotte sat next to her "where have you been?" Chloe sighed "I've been sitting in here. Didn't feel up too socialising" Charlotte frowned "you seem down" Chloe smiled "I'm fine".

After registration the girls had PSHE which Max still taught "I'm not going too this lesson" Charlotte turned to her "why?" Chloe sighed "because I don't feel like it" Chloe went to walk to the common room "Chloe wait" Chloe turned back to her "what?" Charlotte smiled "I'll cover for you" Chloe hugged Charlotte "thanks".

Max got to the classroom and frowned when he didn't see Chloe "where is Chloe?" Charlotte looked at him "she said she was going to the nurse. She's not feeling well" Max looked at Charlotte "I will find out" Charlotte frowned "she's in the nurse's room" Max looked at the class "go in, I'll be back" Max walked off and Charlotte groaned "she's not with the nurse is she?" Charlotte shook her head "I don't know where she is" Chlo smirked "you're in crap" Charlotte nodded "I know".

Chloe sat in the common room crying when Max walked in "why aren't you in my lesson?" Chloe looked up "who told you I was here?" Max smirked "it was obvious you would be here" Chloe sighed "well now you've seen me I'm not going back to your lesson" Max frowned "why not?" Chloe rolled her eyes "because I told you last week that I loved you and apart from that day you've ignored me" Max looked at her "there's a reason for that" Chloe scoffed "what's that? Planning to whisk me away?" Max smirked and took her hand "you said you loved me" "I know I did" Max looked at her "I also told you the same" Chloe sighed "I get it" Chloe walked out the common room and Max stood there shocked.

Rachel was in the office when the police walked in "Miss.Mason we need a word" Rachel frowned "is everything alright?" The officer sighed "there's been another attack" Rachel paled "who?" "Lauren Andrews" Rachel paled "is there any news about the attacker?" The officer nodded "Miss.Andrews pulled the mask off and identified him" "who was he?" The officer looked at Rachel "Adam Fleet" Rachel looked horrified just as Max walked in "problem Rachel?" Rachel looked up at him "the attacker has been caught?" Max frowned "who?" "Adam Fleet" Max glared "him?" Rachel nodded.

Chris had been told to call an emergancy assembley and that Max and Rachel would be there as soon as possible. Chloe,Charlotte and Chlo were sat in the hall when Max and Rachel walked in "this won't take long" Chloe rolled her eyes "the attacker has been caught" Chloe looked up "unfortunatly he was a member of staff here" the students started whispering "quiet!" "The attacker was Adam Fleet" Chloe was shocked so she stood and walked out so Chris went after her.

Chloe stood outside and once again she was crying "Chloe" Chloe looked up and saw Chris "sorry for walking out. I just couldn't handle the fact that he was around my baby girl, he held her" Chloe broke down crying "Chloe did he ever touch you?" Chloe shook her head "he wouldn't dare. Suppose he did though? What would my mum have done?" Chris smiled "she would have chosen you over him" Chloe sighed "I wanna go home" Chris sighed "you know that can't happen" Chloe groaned.

Chloe made her way to English and sat with Charlotte "are you okay?" Chloe nodded "hearing it was Adam, it made me sick" Charlotte hugged her "look he's been locked up now" Chloe smiled.

When Chloe got home she received a text from Max -

*Max - come round my place.

*Chloe - okay. I'm bringing Aubree. No1 to have her

*Max - that's fine.

Chloe got changed and made her way to Max's "thankyou for coming" Chloe sighed "what's this about?" Max smirked and pulled her inside "no, nothing is gonna happen tonight. It can't" Max smiled "wasn't planning on it" Chloe nodded "good. So what is this about?" Max kissed her.

Returning home Chloe went straight upstairs with Aubree and got her changed for bed. When Aubree was asleep Chloe got changed for bed and fell asleep as soon as she climbed into her bed.
