WITH ME

chapter 11

When Jennie was released from the hospital, 

her parents did not allow her to return to her former place of residence.

Jennie's condition is still the same...

she's not talking unless being asked and always just squirming in her room.

 But she does not neglect herself for the sake of the child inside her womb.

she is always focused on his phone because she still hopes that at least Lisa will say hello to her  but still nothing and even the girl's social accounts have deactivated everything.

Every night she still couldn't help but cry because she missed her ex-girlfriend so much and her remorse only got worse.

Today is the day that the most awaited of all... the celebration will be held in their own home.

She is here in the bedroom and her eyes are just staring at her reflection in the mirror as her make up artists fix her.

meanwhile,  Jennie's parents are busy taking care of each visitor who arrives as well as their business partners whom they have invited from different countries.

There are also media outlets because they will make the celebration live for the public for their daughter's engagement.

Jennie's father talks to a business partner who is from the states and only came here because of his niece engagement that that happens to Jennie's soon to be husband Kai.

"I heard that the Bruschweiler Internationals and also the LM empire announced their retirement because their only grandchild will rule and inherit  all their businesses"

"Yes! Because it has always been rumored that the couple retired but it was only a matter of time because they are still waiting for the decision of their heir but now it is certain that they will pass it down to their grand daughter"

"It is only right that the couple retire because they have spent their whole life expanding their businesses"

"But the question there is that no one knows who will be their heir because it has been a long time since every one saw their only child who now happen to have he own family"

That was the focus of their conversation.

Jennie's father thought of this, because Bruschweiler internationals is a business who somewhat reign all over the world this company  own airports, malls, real estate, 5 star restaurants and hotels, resorts and it is also known for their flash wheels business where all new and expensive designs of car can only be bought and purchased from them.

And the LM empire holds hospitals that are known around the world for its advanced medical technology and excellent doctors, it also own the private universities  the  "Lucy State University".

And other businesses are connected to them, so it is undeniable that they are the richest couple in the world and Bae holdings are second only to having the same business in Bruschweiler but it is only managed by the orphaned daughter of Mr. and Mrs Bae due to a plane crush.

So no one is trying to compete with their businesses and now that their retirement has been announced, the whole world is even more waiting for someone to replace them because of the two big business names that she/ he  will manage in the future.

In fact, the business owned by Jennie's parents is somewhat stable and prosperous but it cannot compared the wealth of the Bruschweiler, 

so they are struggling to get a deal with the this big companies and now that Kai is here as their daughter's husband they are very confident for him  to run their businesses and make it bigger or even get a deal from them.

They had a lot to talk about before the celebration started.

The time has come for the celebration to start.

 Jennie's parents as well as Kai's parents seated at a round table. 

Jennie and Kai were sitting in the front row.

Everyone feels the pleasure and happiness 

but inside Jennie's heart is the extreme longing and pain she feels because this is the scene that she and Lisa once dreamed but now will remain as dreams with out any possibilities of achieving these dreams that they once shared to fulfill.

After announcing their engagement, Kai and Jennie stood up to greet their guests.

Jennie shows happiness in her expression but honestly she did not felt any happiness right now.

 the two greeted every visitors and guests until her feet were numb and her lips were already tired of having a  smile of disapproval to show to everyone that she liked what was going on but that was contrary to how her heart felt, 

but the her mind keep saying that she need to tolerate the situation she is having right now because no one else wants it but herself.

This is the path she chooses to take with the person she does not love.

"I hope you are happy with the decision you made for the both of us" were Lisa's last words for her....her last memory of her ex-girlfriend

"I hope I can be happy" she said to herself 

before she even entered her room to rest herself because she was so tired 

and painfully prayed for  herself that hopefully when she wakes up tomorrow the pain she feels will faded away.
