"Baka may biglaang meeting, alam mo naman, sobrang busy ng boyfie mo."

napatingin ako kay Leina nung sinabi niya yun.

I am so pissed dahil hindi man lang sumulpot si Drake sa usapan naming lunch. I received the flowers he gave me, that was so sweet, I appreciated it a lot. BUT he stood me up on lunch.

"Sabagay..." Mahinang sabi ko habang inaayos yung mga gamit ko sa bag.

I can't even look at Leina, I have no right to be pissed about what happened. He did told me that we are gonna have lunch, pero I should understand that he's a one busy man at may biglang susulpot na mga important meetings.

Im not mad at him, actually papunta na ako sakanya. I should also make a move. Masyado na kameng matagal na ganito, I want an upgrade.

"Bye, mauuna na ako." Paalam ko kay Leina bago tumungo sa elevator papuntang office ni Drake.

When the elevator opened, ang una kong nakita ay walang iba kung hindi si Annika, his secretary.

Tinignan niya ako mula ulo hanggang paa, I did the same thing. I can see na naiinis siya sa presence ko, Drake has probably told her about us already. Rinig rinig ko rin sa mga empleyado rito na patay na patay nga si Annika kay Drake, but Drake never felt the same.

Drake is such a grown man now.

"Where's my boyfriend?"

Napataas yung kilay niya sa tanong ko.

I smiled at her.. a sarcastic smile.

"Your what?"

"My boyfriend, Drake. Where is he? is he in his office?"

She was about to answer me when biglang bumukas yung pinto sa opisina ni Drake. Its Drake, dala dala niya yung suitcase niya at mukhang pagod na pagod pa.

Nagulat siya nung nakita niya ako, pero kahit ganon ay nilapitan niya parin ako at hinalikan ako sa noo.

"Im sorry for not showing up awhile ago." He sincerely told me.

Ngumiti ako sakanya, "Its okay, I understand."

"Why are you here? I was about to fetch you sa cafeteria tho."

"Let's have dinner." Sabi ko naman.

I looked at Annika before leaving, she looked so pissed.

I know that she likes Drake, and might be plotting things in her heard that can make us split up.

Binuksan ni Drake ang pinto s passenger's seat para makapasok ako.

"Thanks." Sabi ko.

Sandali lang kame nakarating sa restaurant na napili niya. It's another luxurious restaurant, just like always.

We just ordered some steak and some wine to go with it. After eating hinatid niya na ako sa condo ko.

Kakadating ko lang sa floor ng room ko when my phone suddenly rang...

Its Drake, he's calling me kaya agad agad ko naman itong sinagot.

"Hello?"

"Mayumi, I just want to tell you that Im really sorry for not showing up awhile ago." He started

"It's oka-"

"I love you, I love you so damn much. I love you to the point that its making me go crazy. I just want you to know that I am willing to risk it all for you, I will always be here."

I felt some wet things on my cheeks.

Im crying... sobrang natouched ako sa mga binitawan niyang salita. Hindi ko alam kung bakit niya to sinasabi but one thing for sure, he loves me.

"I love you, Drake."

Unang tapak ko palang sa condo ko ay halos mahimatay na ako sa gulat.

"What the heck Zekiya??? Mamamatay ako sa gulat sayo!" Inis na sabi ko kay Zekiya.

Tawa lang siya ng tawa, why is she even here? Sobrang late na nga oh!

"Why are you here?" Nagtataka kong tanong sakanya.

"Well, matagal na tayong hindi nagbonding and I miss you so much already. I know that you are busy with your boyfriend but make some time for me naman!" Nagkukunwari pa siyang naiiyak.

Nilagay ko muna yung bag ko sa countertop bago umupo sa living room kung saan may mga bottles of alcohol.

Oh gosh, I don't really drink, but okay.

"So anong ganap sainyo?" Agad na tanong sakin ni Zeki.

"He loves me Zeki, he loves me so much." Tumulo yung luha ko sa sinabi ko.

Nagulat naman si Zekiya sa biglaan kong pag-iyak. Agad naman niya akong niyakap.

"Of course he does. He never stopped loving you, he always loved you. He waited for you to come back."

Napangiti ako sa sinabi ni Zekiya.

"Drake never failed to tell me how much he loves you, Yumi. You guys are each other's end game."

After drinking, natulog na kame. Thank goodness pareho kameng walang ganap kinabukasan.

Masyado na kameng late nagising dala na rin ng sobrang pagkalasing.

"Want to go shopping?" Tanong ni Zekiya.

Kakatapos niya lang mag shower, she really really loves to shop.

Hindi naman ako tumanggi.

After naming magbihis at kumain ng lunch ay deretso na kami sa mall na madalas naming pinupuntahan.

"I wanna get this!" Sabi ni Zeki habang pinapakita sakin ang color white na purse.

"Just get it!" Sabi ko naman.

Kinuha niya naman ito at binayaran agad sa counter.

Pareho kameng dumeretso sa jewelry shop...

Biglang bumilis yung tibok ng puso ko when I saw those beautiful rings lining up infront of me.

I want to get married. I wanna marry Drake.

One ring caught my attention, I felt my face heating. It looks exactly like our promise ring.

Memories started to flash.

We've been through so much, Drake. I cannot afford losing you again.

"Ms?" Tawag ko sa tindera.

Agad naman siyang lumapit aakin.

"Can I check this one out?" Sabi ko while I showed her the ring I want.

Kinuha niya rin ito at nilapad sa harap ko. Dalawa ito, one for each other.

"That's one of the most beautiful rings ever made. It's simple but it ties you and your partner forever. Engraving of names is also available, that will look good on you!" Masayang sabi sakin ng babae.

"I'll get this." Sabi ko at binigay ito sa babae.

"Do you want your names engraved?"

"Sure."

Binigyan niya ako ng papel para sulatan ng pangalan.

Agad akong lumapit kay Zekiya,

"Im gonna ask him to marry me." I said.

Nagulat naman si Zeki sa sinabi ko, "What do you mean?"

"Im gonna propose to Drake. I wanna live with him forever, I will ask him to marry me."
