 Alethiology: the study of truth

The world has become a superhuman society, and about 80% of the world's population now has some kind of special trait. In this world swirling with chaos, the profession everyone dreamed about and admired came into the limelight. Heroes of justice, fighting villains, and saving people from distress. But, some were part of the 20% without power. Viewed as weak and useless, Izuku Midoriya was one of these people until he met his mentor and hero, All Might. Gifted with One-for-All, a powerful quirk given down from generation to generation, he attended U.A High's hero course. He continued to run towards his dream, standing up to any difficulties and saving people with a smile to become the greatest hero. He finally accomplished his dream and became the number one hero of Japan. But, that dream and the world are starting to crumble as he and many others have accusations of crimes they have never committed. What will he do now?  

The wind howled, streetlights brightening up the early morning. It was dark outside, the sky blank, people sleeping in their homes, unaware of what was happening in the shadows.

Izuku Midoriya was in an abandoned warehouse, his fellow heroes gathered together, all dressed in dark clothing. There was Shinsou, his face scrunched up in a scowl. Bakugo, his permanent frown even tighter than normal. Denki and Sero looked between their coworkers, unsure of what to say to lighten the mood. Todoroki's face was blank, but his heart was angry. Iida stood, looking over them to make sure everyone was there. Jirou was near the door, on the lookout. Yao-momo was next to her, a pair of binoculars on her face. You couldn't see Hagakure, but she was there, sweat beading on her brow. Tsu was there, comforting Uraraka, keeping her as calm as she could.

"This doesn't make any sense. Why does the government want to arrest us? We didn't do anything wrong!" Uraraka exclaimed.

"But that's the thing, we've been caught on camera doing something wrong," Kirishima countered.

Shinsou's scowl deepened. "The country now sees us as villains."

"If we take a moment to sort this out with the police, then we will be fine. We can prove our innocence," Iida said, chopping the air with his hands.

Sero nodded his head. "Yeah, I think that's what we should do. Is there anyone else?" 

"This is all. The rest are out of the country. Tokoyami and Shoji are on a mission in Greece, Ojiro has been MIA, and Aoyama moved back to France," Mina answered. 

"Alright then, let's—" Midoriya tried to say until the shrill sound of sirens drowned him out.
