I'm introducing new OCs! I'll publish a note page so that we can keep up. I hope this chapter makes you laugh.
"You're crazy."
"I swear I'm not."
"You're right. Estas muy delirando." (you are very delusional)
Two sidekicks argued in their separate corner of the office, gesticulating wildly. One was Energizer and the other was Aerial.
Aerial pouted. "That was rude."
"You want me to do that? Yeah, you're buggin'. I should call the police."
"Please, just do it. You're acting like a pussy cat."
Energizer bristled. "Are you insulting me now?"
"Yes, because you can't do this one little thing while I do so much for you!"
"That's toxic," Arsenal chimed in, staring at a report.
"Oh shut up. You know what I meant."
"Do I?"
Aerial facepalmed. She turned to Energizer again. "Please, just this one time!"
"No! What if the boss finds out?"
"She won't, because you won't snitch."
"Fine! But if you get caught, it's none of my business."
The sidekick smiled. Her plan was finally in motion.
"Should I be concerned?" Arsenal asked, her eyes shifting between the two.
"Don't worry your pretty head about it. All will be solved soon."
"I'm going to regret this," she muttered.
She thought for a moment, before shrugging. "Oh well."
...
"It's really quiet up here," you wondered aloud. There wasn't a single peep from any of your sidekicks this afternoon. There weren't any robberies to stop or villains to catch. The agency was peaceful. You had half the mind to cut the day short, and have some time to yourself.
You could imagine the food you would eat and the movies you could watch. Nobody to bother you or ask questions. No villain to interrupt you being human. That kind of life seemed wonderful.
Soon, you'd fallen into a daydream of going to buy a large tub of ice cream for yourself, along with (favorite snacks). You could imagine the movie marathon you would have, starting the Marvel's Avengers franchise from beginning to end.
That dream broke when you heard a bloodcurdling scream, along with a crash. You sighed. You knew it was too good to be true.
"Goodbye daydream," you whispered sadly. "It was nice knowing peace."
You stood from your desk, your face morphing into neutral scary, and went to see what was the commotion. You opted to take the stairs, only to delay the inevitable chaos.
...
"What the fuck?!" a sidekick with cat-like features screamed.
"Ha! That's what you get bitch! You fucked around and found out!"
"Aerial, I'm going to kill you slowly, and lose my fucking job!" The cat woman hissed, baring her fangs.
Aerial stuck her tongue out. "You're gonna have to catch me first!"
The sidekick lunged at her, her sharp claws swiping at Aerial. Aerial jumped, flying away from the angry cat lady.
Other sidekicks snickered at the new color that decorated the woman's fur. Instead of her usual snow leopard printed ears, her fur had been dyed pink, the color in patches across her body. Aerial had added red food coloring to the custom-ordered body shampoo.
