It was early in the morning; earlier than you were used to when you woke up. You didn't have to go to your agency until later, since it was a half-day for everyone. You'd decided to just relax in the early morning, maybe catch up on some reading and work. So, you walked into your kitchen, made a cup of hot chocolate, and sat by the window in the living room. It was cool in the house, so you grabbed a blanket and swaddled yourself in its warmth.
You were in the middle of reading (favorite book) when soft footsteps padded down the stairs. You looked up to see Midoriya, scrubbing his sleepy eyes, walking to the kitchen.
"Good morning," you whispered.
He jumped, turning to see you in a chair near the window, cuddled up.
He blinked. "Good morning," he replied.
He strolled towards you with curiosity. "What're you reading?"
"(Favorite book)."
"Cool." You continued to read while Midoriya stood there, awkwardly. He went into the kitchen, made himself a cup of tea, and sat in the living room.
He fidgeted, constantly looking around the living room. You could tell he wasn't used to quiet, especially with how excitable his friends were.
"Is there something wrong?"
He jumped again. "Oh! No, sorry."
You hummed, appraising him from afar. He fidgeted under your stern gaze, shoulders tense.
He's so curious.
You debated with yourself if you were going to talk to him. He seems so nice, so you thought it wouldn't hurt. At least to satiate his need for knowledge.
"You want to ask me something?"
"Oh hell yes," he said in relief, shoulders sagging.
You hummed in amusement. "I'm listening, just speak slowly, one question at a time."
Midoriya began to smile. "What else can you do with your quirk?"
"I can control most earthly materials like metals."
"No way! Really?"
You nodded. You stretched your hand out, closing your eyes. A fork zipped past Midoriya's cheek, surprising him.
You absentmindedly twirled the fork in your hand. "Anything else?"
"How does that work?"
"Well, most metal comes from rock. The rock is mixed with pure metals like iron and copper, heated to a melting point, and then cooled. There's more to it but that'll take too long to explain."
Midoriya nodded, taking invisible notes on his hands. He sat in thought for a minute before asking another question.
"Who did you get your quirk from?"
"My mom."
"And your dad?" he prompted.
"Melting I think."
Midoriya hummed in thought, chin in his hand. "Can you control lava?"
"Lava?"
He perked up. "Yeah! Normally, children get a mix of their parents' quirk. So, theoretically, what if you could manipulate lava?!"
You hummed in thought. "I'll have to think about that."
While you stayed in your own world, thinking about the logistics of Midoriya's theory, Midoriya smiled brightly at you. He was excited. You—the woman who didn't want to speak to anyone— decided to have a conversation with him. Midoriya couldn't believe it. He knew this could be short-lived, so he was careful not to overwhelm you. Baby steps, he had to remind himself.
But he had so many questions, like what your hero suit looked like and if you met any famous heroes like Spiderman, and what about—
A ringing sound roused him from his excited thinking and your pondering. It was your phone alarm.
"I've got to go wake up Kya and Oliver."
"Oh, ok."
You waved him goodbye, leaving to wake up your kids. Once you were out of earshot, Midoriya squealed quietly.
We had a conversation! I can't wait to tell Todoroki.
Meanwhile, your eyebrows furrowed, still thinking about Midoriya's theory. What if you could manipulate lava? How would you control it? And how could it tie into hero work?
You shook your head, opting to think about it later.
You decided to ignore the happy feeling of being able to have a normal conversation with someone other than yourself.

Warning: suggestive
In Japan
"FUCK!" the man yelled, slamming his fist onto the table.
"How could they have gotten away?!"
The officers flinched at his volume.
"We don't know sir, but rest assured that we are keeping tip lines open and—"
"That's not fucking good enough!" the man cut in. The officers flinched again.
"I need camera footage, bank records, phone records, something to give us a clue as to where they have gone. I cannot have these rebels disappearing. Not on my watch. Dismissed."
"But sir—"
"I said dismissed."
The officers sighed before saluting, filing out of the office. The man groaned, falling into his chair with his hands in his hair, gripping it tightly.
"Knock knock," a voice purred from the doorway.
"I don't want to see anyone—"
"Even little ole me?" The man looked up, his eyes brightening at the slim figure.
"I always want to see you, kitten."
The woman chuckled, strutting into the office, locking the door.
"What's wrong, darling? Why so stressed?"
The man groaned again. "Ugh, you don't even want to know. You'll be bored."
"Of you? Never," she smiled, sitting on his desk in front of him. His rough hands immediately went to her soft plush thighs.
"Is there something I could do?" the woman implored, searching. "Maybe vent? Tell me what's on your mind."
"I don't think that will help." The man thought for a moment before a mischievous smile lit up his face.
"You know what would help me?" the man smirked.
"What would that be?"
He leaned closer. "You, me, my bed, tonight? I could use the stress reliever. And—" he gripped her bottom, "you've got exactly what I need. Or maybe right now, if you're into that."
She rolled her eyes at the offer. "Close the blinds."
He raised an eyebrow, smirking. "That's a good girl."
He was quick to close the blinds, and his hands were immediately on her.
The woman rolled her eyes again. No new info yet. Have to wait till tomorrow.
