It was finally the weekend. No work, no school for your children, nothing.

Except for chores.

Turns out, when someone(read: Yaoyorozu) mass produces clothes for their friends and someone(read: you) also buys just as much clothing, it also results in multiple loads of laundry. Of course, you weren't going to subject your washing machine through that torture, so you did what any normal person would: you went to the laundromat.

But the problem was, you filled up almost every washing machine with clothing. It took hours of constant soap dispensing and drying without help. Your back and legs were screaming, but you pushed through.

Currently, Midoriya, Sero, Todoroki, and Yaoyorozu were sorting and folding the laundry.

While they did that, you busied yourself with snacks for yourself and your little ones.

And that's when you heard it.

"DC is much better than Marvel."

Your head whirled towards the living room at break-neck speed.

"Who said that?!"

Midoriya froze at the venom in your voice.

"Midoriya? Was that you?"

"I-I don't know what you're talking about," Midoriya lied. Sero snickered.

"I heard something. About DC and Marvel?"

"Midoriya said that DC is better than Marvel," Todoroki droned.

"Todoroki!"

You knew you weren't hearing things. You stomped to the living room, preparing yourself to defend your honor.

"You're crazy," you stated darkly.

"I'm not, it's just-"

"I can't believe this," you gasped.

"Listen-"

"No, you listen to me. Marvel is a hundred times better than DC," you spat 'DC' with disgust. You were in disbelief. Just when you thought that you and Midoriya were on the same page, he went about and started spouting blasphemous claims.

"C'mon, Batman is way better than Iron man with prep time," Midoriya argued.

"Did you say with prep time? Tony Stark doesn't need prep time. He'd throw hands with Batman and win, no question. Tony Stark with prep time? Batman's dead as hell," you shot back.

"Ok, what about Superman?"

"Doctor Strange has something for him. Or Hulk. Thor too. I'm not sure about beating him, but it'll be close."

He shook his head. "What about Wonder Woman?"

"See, that's a good question. Between Captain Marvel and She-Hulk. Wanda if she's angry enough. They might not win though, but it'll be a really good fight."

"Hmm, Green Lantern and Wanda seem like a better match-up."

"Ooh! That's better."

You and Midoriya continued to create hypothetical 1v1s. Sero looked on in amusement while Todoroki stared in confusion. Yaoyorozu stared with interest at your excited chatter.

"What's Marvel and DC?" Todoroki asked.

You and Midoriya gasped, gob-smacked. Sero chuckled loudly.

"Poor Roki. I'll let you guys handle that," he left, still laughing at the shit-show about to happen. Yaoyorozu shuffled nervously at you and Midoriya's attitude.

"I'll put these away." She scurried off, leaving poor Todoroki to himself.

Sorry, Todoroki.

"How uncultured are you?!" you shouted. In a fit of passion, you were shaking Todoroki back and forth, looking into his eyes.

Maybe there's something wrong up there.

Todoroki shrugged. "I did not watch much television when I was younger." He didn't elaborate, and you didn't press him. Not with that look in your eye. There was a certain sparkle no one had seen before.

"We'll have a Marvel movie Marathon," you whispered. You'd been dreaming of this day for so long. You'd hoped it would either be with a friend or by yourself, but this was just an opportunity no one could waste. You could convert him to the good side.

"A what?"

You patted his shoulder. "Don't worry about it. You'll find out. Stay here." You disappeared, a light spring in your step. Once Midoriya was sure you were gone, he scooted over to Todoroki, whispering conspiratorially.

"Whatever you do, do not join the Marvel fandom. It would do no good for you."

Todoroki's brows furrowed. Fandom? What's that?

"Is it like your All Might fan-"

"SHHHHHHH!" Midoriya smacked a hand on Todoroki's mouth. "We do not speak of that."

"But-"

"But nothing! Forget it. Enjoy your movie," Midoriya was quick to leave, muttering under his breath about how it wasn't fanfiction, but legitimate online books and scenarios.

You were back, a little notebook in your hands. You wore a shirt similar to Captain America's shield and dark blue sweatpants.

"Are you ready? We're gonna start with Ironman."

"Ironman?"

You sighed. "This is gonna take a while. But it's worth it." You turned on the tv and began the journey.

...

You were in the middle of Black Panther when you felt a weight on your shoulder. You jumped in surprise, looking over to see Todoroki's two-toned hair. He was asleep, his chest rising and falling slowly. You looked away from him towards the movie, wondering how you were going to get him off. He was the last person you expected to fall asleep. You checked the time, surprised to see it was almost time for dinner. The last time you checked, it was 10 o'clock. Now it was 6.

I guess it wasn't as interesting as I thought.

You almost felt sad about that.

You didn't want to be rude and push him off. But, your shoulder was hurting from the weight. Plus, his neck was going to hurt later. He nuzzled into you further, letting out a little sigh as he slept.

But he looked so... peaceful.

Maybe he should. . .

You shook your head, your face feeling hot and uncomfortable.

No, that's embarrassing.

Don't do that without consent.

You glanced at Todoroki again, gaze lingering. You huffed, gently pulling his head to your lap. Soon, he was comfortably laying on your soft thighs. You gazed down at his long lashes that made little crescents on the apples of his cheeks. You could feel the ghost of his breath over your thighs, listening to his snores. His hair was draped across your lap and stomach, the peppermint-colored tresses slightly tangled. You lay your hand on his head, and he stirs lightly. You freeze, before gently running your hands through his hair. He relaxed again, sleeping peacefully. You continued to watch the movie, absentmindedly petting his two-toned hair.

End. Thank you so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Please don't forget to vote and comment.

I'd also like your opinion. DC or Marvel? I've watched a good amount of both and I am more inclined towards Marvel, but DC has its perks too.
