Kaminari stared, starry-eyed as you huddled up with your children, laughing with them in the living room. He couldn't help but smile at the happy family, the way Kya's bright eyes seemed to glow as you played dolls with her, and the way Oliver's normally shy smile seemed to become more confident. You were glowing, smiling hard as you narrated with different voices for the different toys.
Aria was also there, coming to spend the day with them. She was still staying at Gaea for the next week, while you prepped her new room. She was already so excited. She was still getting used to the presence of the other occupants of the house but seemed to have taken a particular liking to Kirishima. After the initial fright, she grew to like the 6'7 red-headed sharp-tooth man. Anyone could tell Kirishima was ecstatic, still remorseful for making her faint.
But Kaminari couldn't help but wonder how this family came to be. The last time he visited, you'd been moving into your house, telling him it was a gift from a designer you'd saved. You mentioned how she wouldn't take no for an answer, but you were thankful since living in your bummy apartment wasn't the best option. Next thing he knows, you became a single mother of two, then added another one.
"Mr. Electric?" Kya called out, tugging on Kaminari's sweatpants.
"Yeah, kiddo?"
"Oliver wanted to ask if you wanted to play with us. We're playing knights!"
"Kya! You weren't supposed to tell him that!" Oliver whined.
"Oops, sorry."
Kaminari chuckled. "Sure. How do I play knights?"
"OK, Mama is going to be the princess stuck in the tower. You're going to destroy the tower and take her away."
"W-wait," you sputtered. "What am I doing?"
Kya huffed, annoyed at your lack of attention. "I said that you were the princess and Mr. Electric was going to take you away from the tower."
Kaminari's brows furrowed. "Which tower?"
Kya pointed at a cup tower that magically spawned during his musings. "That one."
Kaminari rubbed his hands. "Alright, what next?"
"We're going to chase you. Mama, be the da-da—"
"Damsel in distress?"
"Yeah! That."
Kaminari nodded. He looked at you, noticing your small smile. He smiled back, and you looked away, wringing your hands together.
"Ok. Mama, go hide! Before he gets you!"
"Alright, alright," you muttered, hiding behind the cup tower. You internally cried for your hard/boredom-induced work.
"ROAR! I'm an evil villain out to destroy this sacred tower, to capture the beautiful princess and make her my queen!" Kaminari roared. He raised his arms menacingly. The trio giggled.
"No, you won't you villain! Leave her alone!"
"Never!" he shouted, kicking the tower down. You covered your face from the falling cups, so you didn't see what happened next until it did. In a swift movement, Kaminari had you over his shoulder and was running away from the knights.
"Oh my God!" you shrieked, flinging your arms around his neck. Kaminari cackled, sprinting off. The trio shrieked laughs as they chased Kaminari. Your grip on his neck tightened, your body jiggling in his hold.
You couldn't help the laughs that escaped your lips as your children chased Kaminari. Their cheeks were flushed and their little legs still sped around the house. Shrieks of 'Stop meanie!' and 'Put the princess down before I hit you!' sounded around the house, along with the stomping of big and little feet. It drew out the other inhabitants of the house, and curiosity formed on their faces.
