Note: They're speaking Japanese here

You weren't sure why, but you had woken up from sleep. Again. It'd been happening recently, most likely when Denki and friends had come. Every time you would awaken, you almost always met with someone.

So you hopped out of bed, already awaiting your next guest. You walked into your living room, noticing a familiar tuft of purple hair. His eye bags were deeper than normal, his eyes bloodshot and red, and his face exhausted.

He looks like shit.

"Thanks, that was what I was going for. Mission accomplished," he snarked, rolling his eyes. That's when you realized you said that out loud.

You clamped a hand over your mouth. "That wasn't supposed to come out."

"It's whatever."

You just nodded, moving into the kitchen for a drink.

"Chamomile?"

"Please."

You returned to the living room with two steaming mugs of tea, handing one to Shinsou.

"So what's keeping you awake?" you asked.

"Stuff," he answered.

"Same," you replied.

You both sat there, sipping the tea.

You weren't sure if the atmosphere was awkward, or if it was just you.

Should I say something? Is this supposed to be uncomfortable?

Normally, you encountered people who would continue conversations, which you didn't mind much. But it seemed that Shinsou wasn't that type of guy. He was content to sit in silence, which confused and amused you. He and Kaminari were total opposites.

After the continuing silence, you started to appreciate it, actually. You haven't had a quiet moment in a while, and it was comforting to know that you didn't have to try and fill the void. Especially because you never knew what to say. You could let it exist, and you won't feel awkward. It was... refreshing.

"Hey, maybe we should go outside. You look like you need some air," you said, looking into your cup.

"You think it's a good idea?" he asked, looking at you with furrowed brows.

"In the daytime? No, but the world should be asleep right now, we should be good," you assured.

"Ok," he replied, shrugging. "Sounds good to me."

"Hold on, I need to grab some extra blankets and some food, be right back. We'll go to the roof."

"How?"

"You'll find out," you answered cryptically. You disappeared for a brief moment, before returning with blankets and other objects.

"Come with me," you waved. You brought him to the backyard.

"Stay close, you might fall off." You moved into a squat, legs wide and fists at your sides.

"What are you- Shit!"

The grass that you stood on broke away from the ground. He yelped, grabbing onto your form. You silently chuckled at his frightened expression. You used your quirk to bring the slab up, like an elevator, onto the slanted roof.

"A warning would've been nice," Shinsou gasped.

"I did," you said. You set up the blankets, leaving Shinsou standing there awkwardly as you shuffled and mumbled to yourself.

"And done!" you proclaimed, proud of your work.

The setup was nice, with snacks on either end of the blanket. Another blanket was propped up by two short wooden staffs that he hadn't seen before, molded onto the roof. The mugs had been refilled, and the blankets had been laid on the roof perfectly.
