Denki Kaminari was jerked awake by shouts and bangs. His blurry eyes searched for the source, but he could barely see in the dark. Once his eyes adjusted, he could see his fellow inmates fighting one another and the prison guards. He also saw people without prison uniforms and could feel a breeze flowing through the cell block.
What in the hell?
"Psst... Hey... Hey!" someone whisper-yelled. Kaminari jerked his head towards the right. He could see the outline of a police officer and someone dressed in dark clothing shuffling through the chaos.
"Wha...? What's going on?"
"It's a jailbreak. Get up," the officer said.
"Jailbreak?! Huh?" he asked. The officer fumbled with the keys, looking back and forth between the chaos and the escape.
"Yes, now hurry up! This distraction won't last long. Chikao is waiting!"
"What about my friends?!"
"They're already out and waiting on your dumb ass. Hurry up!" the dark-clad figure shouted.
"Stop right—" someone tried to say before getting clocked in the face.
"Gotta go!"
They sprinted away from the cell until they were met with a wall.
BOOM
Well, formerly met with a wall. The dark-clad figure had just made the wall explode, and a large hole was left.
"Jump!"
Kaminari whipped his head back to them. "I'm not trying to die! You can take me back to my cell, I can—"
He couldn't finish, falling with a scream.
"You didn't have to push him. Chikao will be pissed if she has to heal him."
"He was wasting time."
They both jumped, glad to see another dark-clad figure holding a traumatized Kaminari.
"Can you carry him while running?"
"Hell no, this bitch heavy. Where's the car?" The second dark-clad figure dropped Kaminari.
Ow!
The officer waved them in another direction, sprinting. A swerving van was in their sights. The double doors of the van banged open, and Kaminari saw all of his friends in the van.
"Hurry up!" Kirishima yelled, outstretching his hand.
His lungs burned, but he sped up. He ran faster than he ever had, before jumping.
He landed with a grunt, his chest heaving. The other three did the same, laying on the floor of the van.
"You guys!" he shouted happily once he caught his breath. He jumped into the closest pair of arms, which were Bakugo's.
"Ew get it off!" He pushed him away, wiping away imaginary germs.
"Kaminari!" the girls shouted.
"You're okay!"
The former heroes reunited, hugging and laughing.
"We're not out of the woods yet. We've got a few problems," the driver said, the van swerving wildly.
They looked out of the window, seeing the bright blues and reds of the police cars chasing them on the open road.
"What do we do?!" Mina shouted frantically.
"You're heroes! What do you think you should do!" the officer shouted.
They facepalmed. Duh!
They opened the double doors again, Bakugo's arms sparking up.
"This is what you get dumbasses!"
Bakugo let off explosions, the police cars swerving to avoid them. Mina thrust out her hands, acid-spewing on their windshields. Todoroki fired up, opening his palm. A controlled blast of fire almost hit the cars but made them split up.
"They're moving to the sides!"
"I've got this!" Deku shouted. He opened the side windows, clenching and releasing his fists. A gust of air pushed the cars away, crashing into lamp posts.
"Let me try something!" Yaoyorozu mass-produced caltrops, pouring them out of the windows. They punctured the police tires, and the cars veered off course.
The van sped away, leaving the destruction of the police force in its wake.
...
"We're definitely villains now!" Iida panicked, wearing a hole into the ground of their new hideout.
They had been dropped off at Tokyo port, being hidden in a cargo trailer. The only light was from the moon and Todoroki, who was struggling to keep his flames stable.
"Calm down Iida," Yao-Momo said.
"Calm down?! CALM DOWN?!"
"You need to chill the fuck out four eyes before we get caught. Again!" Bakugo shouted.
"Can everyone please be quiet? 'Cause we have bigger things to worry about," Tsu said, rubbing her palms together to generate more warmth. Her teeth were chattering, even with the heated blanket Yaoyorozu made for her.
"Tsu's right, like who were those people?!" Mina exclaimed.
"Yes, Midoriya, who were those people?" Iida asked, bringing the whole group's attention to him.
"Why do you think I know?!"
"We know you know, just tell us who they are," Shinsou said, crossing his arms.
Midoriya sighed. "I don't know. They work for the prison doctor."
"Oh yeah, that lady with the guy name? They mentioned her after pushing me off a building."
"Ok but what are they—" Sero tried to ask before the metal doors creaked open.
"I heard you were talking shit about us."
There they were, the figures that helped them escape from prison, along with Chikao, her strict green eyes surveying them.
"Get up," she commanded, turning away from them, "Unless you don't want to escape."
"Stop right there motherfucker! What the actual hell is going on here? First, you give this cryptic fucking message about 'danger' and then help us escape and start to tell us what to fucking do? I don't but it seems really suspicious to me."
I don't have time for this.
The shorter figure nudged Chikao, and she sighed reluctantly. She faced them again.
"It's a long story."
End. Have a good day, make sure to eat and drink water.
