"When is the doctor going to show up??" I questioned, my gaze drawn to the door as Linda entered the room, holding a warmer blanket.

Yes, I'll admit that I'm a little impatient, and it wasn't just because I was a little concerned about my wife. Unfortunately, It was also because I was uncomfortable with the position we were in.

Yes, with her face still buried in my chest as she occasionally snuggles closer to me and my hands circled around her, I found our position to be very strange. However, Regardless of how strange it was, for some unknown reason, it....made my heart warm.

A strange feeling it certainly was and if I'm to be truthful, for a moment, my cold side seemed to vanish as her dainty body shifted closer in and her long and deceptively delicate legs slipped over mine.

My body itself seemed to heat up as suddenly the vanilla fragrance of her thick, flowing hair reached my nostrils, and I felt dazzled as if I was caught in a spell.

The rhythm of my heart increased as I was unable to breathe normally for several seconds before my body pulled itself back to reality and I returned to my normal self.

It was an unexplainable feeling...and certainly one I have never felt before.

"Sir, the doctor will be here shortly," Linda answers. She could be seen making her way towards Hazel's side of the bed. "Are you able to get her closer to you?" She proceeded to ask as she unfolded the blanket.

I let out a sigh, my glaring eyes now fixed on her. My jaw clenches as I become enraged, however, there was not a word that left my mouth; instead, I follow instructions and pull her closer in

"Thank you" A few words left her mouth before she gently spread the blanket over us and then went on to fix it however, A knock on the door had interrupted her work.

"Dr. Melcher, Welcome." She welcomed the visitor at the entrance, who was a tall, slim man dressed in a white coat. My gaze followed him as he approached me, holding a briefcase in his hands that he clutched tightly.

"Mr. Mariano," He greeted, stretching out her arm for a handshake.
"I'm Giovanni Melcher, doctor and head of the Bosque Cure and Care medical center, how can I be of help??"

"Well, It appears that your wife's blood pressure had risen and that was the cause for her excessive shivering..." His gaze averted from the blood pressure monitor wrapped around her left wrist as he reported.

He moves them to a briefcase and takes out a medium thermometer. "Chills can be a sign of high blood pressure, much like pounding in the chest, neck, and ears." He paused, placing the thermometer in her mouth.
