"...Yes," I hesitantly answered to his offer and saw his chest went down a little. in a sigh, which I assumed means that he must be relieved for some reason.

"Good." he began after a second of silence and sat up on the couch. "Now. we wait on the arrival of my lawyer, so we can sign the papers and get over this-"

"Wait" I cut him off.

A frown was now shown on my face while my mind registered every word that just left his mouth.

"...sign papers?"

"A contract...just in case you think about going back on your words." He answered, leaning back in his chair.

However, that wasn't the reason why I was a little shocked. There was another thought that came to mind when he spoke about signing papers.

So...he did mention that the arrival of his lawyer would be in an hour or so and then we would sign the papers...which, if I am correct, is telling me that...

"We're getting married right now?!" I accidentally blurted out.

I quickly slapped a hand over my mouth.

Even though a little wave of embarrassment came over me, I was still rather more shock when I understood what was going on.

...We aren't getting married...now...are we?

I mean, it's just too fast and it hasn't even been a day since I've gotten to know this man, that was sitting before me.

Everything was happening too fast!

...And I need some time to think and mentally prepare myself after making a very tough decision that is going to, hopefully, change my life for the better...

And then, out of the silence, a chuckle was heard coming from him.

Caught by his laugh, I shifted my gaze back to him as his action got my attention.

The frown was still on my face as his short laugh finally came to an end and with his eyes now on me again, he spoke.

"What did you thought this would be? A huge wedding filled with hundreds of guests, who have their eyes on you as you walked down the aisle in your beautiful wedding gown?" He questioned, raising one of his brows and I did not know how to feel after those words left his lips.

Is that what he thinks I want?-

"Sadly, time is of the essence, so if you have had any thoughts on having the wedding of your dream, then I would suggest you let that thought go." He cuts me off with another sentence that left me even more confused than I was.

Does he really think that was what I wanted?

"Now, as I was saying, my lawyer will arrive here as soon as possible so we could get over this already. However, this is not all to it. As my wife, there are some rules that you need to obey and I will discuss that when my lawyer is here-"
