He stood right before me, his hands only inches away from touching me...but he couldn't...even if he attempted to...

For it was being held back by another hand...one much stronger, that looked like it would snap him within seconds...

...one that I had not expected to appear...

It was none other than..

...Mr. Mariano..

"M-Mr Mariano" The man stuttered out, his head now raised and his eyes now fixed on the tall, frightening figure who now stood before him.

He appeared terrified and could be seen trembling in his boots as Mr. Mariano's face darkened, as if he was a broken man seeking vengeance.

Rage could be seen in his gaze as his brows lowered and drew closer together into the form of 'V'. His teeth were clenched and his jaws were constricted. The veins in his neck and arms popped out, and it was obvious to see that he was enraged. It was truly a terrifying sight to witness.

The situation was already dire, but as if things could not have gotten any worse, tension grew as Mr. Mariano abruptly releases the boy's hands before gripping the boy's collar. Tightly, he wrapped his fingers around the young boy's shirt, effortlessly lifting him into the air as if he were as light as a feather.

Yes, I know I have mentioned this a few times before but...he looked angry...like angry, angry...

I mean, the burning glares he was shooting at the boy were so terrifying that I couldn't help but shudder myself. It was enough to murder anyone who dares to stare in its direction...

"...what should I do with him?" He abruptly spoke, finally breaking his gaze for the young man. The turns and glance my way,

And I suppose that it was at that point that the young man recognized who I was...that I was not just any woman, but his boss's wife because his eyes immediately widened and fear flashed through it as he suddenly began pleading for his life.

'P-please!" He cried aloud. "I-I didn't know!"

And I would be lying if I said I did not feel bad for him...

While Mr. Mariano , on the other hand, awaited my response, I ignored the young man's pleas as I was now busily thinking about his earlier words, which had caught me off guard because, knowing Mr. Mariano, I had not expected him to ask for my personal opinion on this situation.

I was honestly taken aback by the fact that he wanted my opinion on this matter...

I was actually so surprised that I began to wonder if he was okay, or is he just playing with me at the moment?
