15 years later...

Chapter 64-

"Gilbert! Hurry up." Anne yelled out from the carriage. They were on their way to tell Marilla the good news. After Marilla it was Bash and Mary then Diana and Fred. Gilbert was still a little bit in shock but he was trying to stay calm for Anne because he knew she was definitely scared about it.

They were excited to tell their loved ones about the news and hoped that they'd be as excited as they are.

"Marilla! It's Anne!" Anne screamed from the front door. Gilbert was not long after Anne, he had to make sure the horses wouldn't run away with their carriage. As they waited for Marilla to come downstairs they talked about how weird it was that they had this news to tell marilla.

As the door opened Anne's excitement grew. "Anne! Gilbert! Please do come in!" Marilla said and opened the door even wider.

"What brings you here?" She asked. Anne sat down beside Gilbert and began to speak. "Wellll. You know how we're married now? And normally when you're married you can start creating a family.." Anne said. Marilla caught on very quickly.

"Oh my heavens you're pregnant Anne!"

Anne was taken back by that. How did she realize so quickly? Perhaps it was because she had a little bump BUT it wasn't that big yet.

Gilbert shook his head and laughed. "Well that was a way to tell her". Anne turned to look beside her and said. "Sorry but how would you tell her then hmm mr. Blythe?"

"I'm only joking!" He said with a laugh. Marilla got up and hugged Anne. "Have you thought of any names?" Anne nodded her head and allowed Gilbert to say the first one.

"If it's a girl, I want her to be named belle, you know after our horse. Or Marilla, After you of course, and if it's a boy, Matthew.' Anne exclaimed. Gilbert nodded his head, he continued her sentence. "I think it's should be, for a girl, Marilla Belle Blythe and for a boy Matthew John Blythe. Doesn't those names sound wonderful?"

Anne nodded her head in excitement. "Oh yes gil! Yes indeed. I don't care about the gender, I just hope they're healthy". Gilbert agreed and they had a beautiful rest of their evening.

A few months later.

Gilbert and Anne were fast asleep. Then all of the sudden "OW!" Anne yelled as she rose from her bed. "Ow ow ow, oh my heavens!!" Gilbert got up, as tired as ever. "What is it?" He asked.

"Gilbert, I think. OW! I'm, oh Mrs. Lynde really didn't explain how much this would hurt, OH MY HEAVES OUCH!" Anne yelled. "Are you- OH MY!! Hold on, it's happening. I- need to get yo-" Gilbert couldn't finish his sentence since he had passed out on the floor.

"Oh my word, Gilbert Blythe!!" Anne yellled. It took a few minutes but after that Gilbert was up and ready.

A few very long hours later...

"Oh, he's beautiful gil, don't you agree?" Anne said out of breath, tired as ever. "Yes, you are too" he said while kissing her forehead. "Welcome to the world, Matthew John Blythe.

15 years later ..

"GILBERT! DAISY IS CRYING AGAIN. PLEASE GET UP HERE!! IM MAKING DINNER SO I CANT!"
"YES YES"
Gilbert ran up the stairs to find a little girl in her crib who had been crying for about ten minutes. He picked her up and started tickling her little nose. "Whose the cutest little baby ever? You are!" Gilbert said while yawning.

"Hey! I thought I was a pretty cute baby" said Matthew who's all grown up. "Yes well, don't tell her she's in a little bit of a mood right now" daisy had stopped crying and had fallen asleep in Gilbert's arms. "Could you set the table while Marilla, Lily and your mother cook? I know it would help."
