•We're coming home•

Anne and Gilbert had been on the train for about two hours. It went dark pretty fast and Anne began to yawn. She fell fast asleep on Gilbert's shoulder , he couldn't sleep. He knew he never can sleep on a train , he's never been able to. He just smiled at how cute anne looked when she was sleeping. He felt her start to wake up which was weird because she had just fallen asleep.

"Gil?" Anne said quietly. She cleared her throat and lifted her head while rubbing her eyes. He smiled at Anne. "Yeah?" He answered seeing Anne was still pretty tired. "How come you're not asleep?" She asked confused . He simply shrugged his shoulders .

"I've never really been able to sleep on trains" he said seeing Anne's eyes almost close . She started to talk "Okay well make sure you get your rest. I'm going to be helping Diana tomorrow and you and moody will be helping Fred" Anne yawned during the middle of her sentences . She laid her head back on his shoulders and fell back asleep with a smile across her face. He kissed the top of her head and tried to fall asleep for her.

The sun started to rise as Gilbert's eyes opened. He rose his arms to stretch and saw that Anne wasn't laying on his lap anymore. He looked around and saw her sitting in front of him reading a book she had brought for the ride.

"How long have you been up?" Gilbert Asked quietly hoping no one else would wake up from him. He knew she had to of been up for a while since she brought all new books and she was half way through that one. Anne shrugged her shoulders while flipping to the next page.

"I wonder where we are?" Gilbert asked as he scouted towards the window trying not to make any noise.

"We're in Canada , soon we'll have to get off to get on the ferry" Anne said . She looked up and closed her book . Making sure that the spot she was on was saved. Gilbert furrowed his eyebrows and turned to face Anne. "How long have I been asleep? It looks like it's 4:00 in the morning" Gilbert chuckled.

"You've been asleep for a while. It's around 5:00 ish. The train goes pretty fast" Anne looked out the window looking at the bright sun. Gilbert tried to see what book Anne was reading but her shadow was blocking it . "What book are you reading? It seems interesting" he smiled at her . Anne grabbed the book and moved over to sit next to him. She handed him the book and he nodded his head .

"I thought you've already read this one?" Gilbert asked as he gave her the book back. She nodded her head with a goofy smile. "Yes I did. But I love it so much! It has a tragical romance , an adventure and a very good story line. I've probably read it like ten times in my whole life time. Which isn't a lot but I have to make sure I don't read it a lot that way I won't get very sick of it" Anne chuckled holding the book close to her. Gilbert wrapped his arm around Anne with a smile. His eyes started to close again with his head falling. Anne laughed quietly and opened her book back out , still sitting there with Gilbert arm around Anne she read the book until the train stopped. Some people were already awake and all of those who weren't jumped awake.

"Anne?" Gilbert whispered as he cleared his throat . Anne looked at Gilbert with a smile and answered.

"Where are we?" Gilbert opened his eyes to see that they were at the train station. Anne grabbed some of their bags and stood up. "We're going on the ferry!" Anne exclaimed with excitement. After hearing that Gilbert's eyes widened forgetting that they had to go on the ferry. He grabbed the rest of the bags and followed Anne off the train.

"Come on. We don't want to miss it!" Anne started to walk faster and faster . She didn't notice that Gilbert was still very tired but he tried to catch up with her. Once they reached the ferry every worker welcomed them on and took their bags to put in storage.
