•The Wedding Book•

"ANNE SHIRLEY CUTHBERT!! COME DOWNSTAIRS!" Diana yelled from the downstairs of green gables. As Anne ran down the stairs she saw her bosom friend standing in front of her with a book in her hand. As she looked to Diana's left cole was standing there with his arms held out for a hug.

"Cole!!" Anne hugged the boy with a smile. "I've missed you so much! It seems like an age since I've last seen you!" Anne laughed. She turned to Diana and pointed at the book in her hand.

"Oh yes . Have a seat." Diana sat down across from Cole. Anne nodded her head with a confused expression on her face. She pulled out a chair and sat down while Diana opened the book with a wide smile. Anne looked at the two ; who had two massive smiles on their faces .

"Okay so now that yours and Gilbert's wedding is in about 2 months Cole and I had an idea." Diana led on. Cole nodded his head and grabbed the book from Diana.

"This is the book Diana and I made to plan yours and Gilbert's wedding. It had everything you need in here. The place , the flowers , what colour napkins and so much more. I don't know how we forgot about this seeing as we literally used to write and plan almost everyday in school" Cole shrugged his shoulders to himself. Diana chuckled and looked over to see Anne's expression. Both expecting her to argue with them about seeing it.

"This is great guys! I'll get Gilbert so we can look at this together" Anne smiled as Cole passed her the book. She opened to the first page with had the words 'Anne and Gilbert's Wedding Plans , By Diana Barry and Cole Mackenzie' . Anne laughed to herself , she knew that Cole and Diana really wanted her and Gilbert to start courting and all that stuff but she had never expected this.

"Well ? Do you like it?" Cole Asked impatiently . "I love it! I had no idea that you two did this. When did you start it?" Anne asked as she looked up to meet with their faces.

Diana pointed to the bottom right corner of the first page . Anne followed her finger to the words 'April 3rd 1896' .

"This has been going on since we were 15!" Anne asked with surprise. Diana shook her head . Cole spoke up " nope , we were planning yours and Gilbert's wedding since you two met . This was just a way for us to remember it all!" Cole smiled trying to make it seem normal.

"That's nice to know" Anne said with a chuckle . She shook her head with a smile. "Oh I love you guys . Can you wait here? I'm going to go get Gilbert , he's just at his house . Apparently him and Bash are trying in suits ." They both nodded their heads.

Anne quickly laced up her shoes and ran out the door . She knew that Gilbert would be very excited to see these plans seeing as though they have almost nothing planned yet.

"Blythe you look good in all of the suits , just pick your favourite and then we can stop this!" Bash complained . Gilbert sighed and took a seat in the living room where Delphine was playing with her doll she had got a year ago for Christmas.

"Hey deli , which one do you like?" Gilbert asked the little girl . She looked up at him with a little smile and pointed at the clothes he was already wearing.

"I like dat one uncle gilby" she said with a small laugh and sat back down with her doll in her hand. Gilbert sat there and turned around to look at Bash. Who had a very big grin on his face trying to hide his laughter . Gilbert had been trying on four different suits for the past hour or so and he still didn't like any of them.

"Bash! Would you get up and help me out! This is big , I'm marrying Anne ." Gilbert said with an annoyed sigh. Bash looked up at Gilbert and nodded his head .

"I honestly think that they all look the same. They're all black , All have a tie and all have cufflings ( sorry if I spelt it wrong (: ) . Just pick one!" Bash said as he stood up and pointed at all four suits hanging from a door . Gilbert turned his head slowly to Bash with an even more annoyed face.
