Anne had just woken up from a nap . Her and Marilla had a plan to go on a walk after their dinner. It was around 3:00 pm and Anne made her way downstairs. Since Marilla had been getting better she could start walking again without feeling sick. She was cooking a simple dinner , just some eggs. Not a traditional dinner but it'll do .

Anne sat down across from where Marilla was cooking dinner and said "I'm so glad you're getting better" she said with a smile , still half asleep from her nap . "Oh I am too. Has Gilbert written you lately?" Marilla asked with a little smirk. Anne shook her head completely forgetting about that.

"No , apparently the mail has been slow lately. That's what Cole said a couple weeks ago" Anne shrugged her shoulders with a sigh.

New York

Gilbert came back to his apartment from his job. He was exhausted. All of the sudden he heard a knock at the door , he walked over barely even awake since he had been up for around 12 hours.

"Miss Stacy , hello!" Gilbert said with a smile. She's been living in this building and they hadn't spoken since she moved in. "Hello Gilbert , I believe this is yours." She handed him a letter with Anne's initials and his . Gilbert thanked Miss Stacy and talked for a little while , asking how her job is so far and stuff like that.

Few minutes after that Gilbert ran to his bed and opened up the letter. He read through all of it with a smile , this was the best thing to happen yet today.

Dear Gilbert , November 19 1899

Yes Diana and I have already started planning our wedding. But! , it's only because I'm very excited about it.

Your boss really sucks , I mean it's just for one week ! If I could go to New York and speak with him I would. Marilla been getting better but I feel like I should stay with her. We only have I think 5 more months , so we're half way there. I know that seems long but once we get to see each other it'll be worth it. Then we can have our wedding and it'll be fantastic!

Gilbert smiled at the thought of getting married to anne. That's all he's wanted for about a year now. He grabbed a pen and paper and started to write to Anne.

"Diana!" Anne yelled from outside of Diana's new house. By now Diana was around 3-4 months pregnant and Anne was so excited. She visited her everyday just to talk and sometimes just to come over and walk around the house. Nothing creepy like , just walking around since the house is absolutely huge. Diana came walking outside in the snow , there wasn't a lot of snow but there was enough that you could see the water starting to freeze.

"Yes?" Diana asked shivering. Anne smiled and pulled out a letter .

"It's from Gilbert!" Anne said , she could Diana wanted more information or else she'd leave and go back inside . Continuing on " it'll have something to do with the wedding! " Anne smiled with her mouth open wide. Diana's eyes widened. " the wedding! " she screamed with excitement. Fred came running outside . " is everything okay Diana?" He said out of breath. Diana nodded her head and grabbed Anne , dragged her towards a picnic table just outside of her house and said " I'll be out here for a while ".

"But it's freezing!" Fred said while he shivered. "I don't care! It's about Gilbert and Anne's wedding! I've been planning this since I was 13!" Diana yelled since Fred was far away from them. Anne rolled her eyes with a small smile forgetting that she didn't have to hide the fact that she likes Gilbert . Finally Fred gave in and let them freeze.
