• A love story •

It was lunch time and everyone but Anne and Gilbert were in the schoolhouse. They were all so excited to find out what miss Stacy's idea was.

"Okay , Charlie has told me that Matthew have Gilbert his blessing!" All the kids gasped in happiness.

"So , when we do the story club. Write your favourite memory of Anne and Gilbert an one memory of school. That way when I read them it won't be just anne and Gilbert's memories." They all seemed to like the idea and everyone agreed .

"But wait! There won't be as much memories as there should be." Ruby pointed out. Miss Stacy hadn't  thought about that.

"Well , I suppose I could convince Anne and Gilbert to write twice as much as everyone else" Miss Stacy thought it wouldn't be too hard to convince the two.

"But then it'll seem like everyone else isn't doing as much as they are. I know we are but it'll seem a little odd that everyone else is finishing before Anne and Gilbert" Jane said . Everyone else nodded . Cole spoke up " I'll speak to anne , don't worry I have an idea" .

"Hey Anne!" School was done and Miss Stacy had decided to start the story club after school today. Cole has walked up to anne and start his plan.

"So , you excited to write about your favourite memory?" Anne nodded her head in excitement. Anne loves to write , someday she hopes she'll become a writer. That someday will happen soon enough.

"Yes! It's ever so exciting . I'm just so excited for the speech and for miss Stacy to read out all of the memories . Except that when this is all done school will be over and we'll have to go to college!" Anne started to feel bummed out , Cole felt upset for Anne.

"I'm upset too. I'll miss this school. Say how many memories are you writing about every story club?" Anne turned her head to the side a little bit .

"I'm writing 8 each time , what about you?" Cole agreed even though is was 2 things about Anne and Gilbert and 1 memory each time.

"That was an odd question cole. Oh I think it's about to start! Let's go!" Cole nodded his head and headed into the schoolhouse.

As everyone was writing their favourite memory of Anne and Gilbert the carrots one came up a lot. Most people had finished but made it look like they were still working until Anne and Gilbert were done , to make it seem like they had the same amount.

As Gilbert was writing he wasn't even thinking about Matthews blessing. He wasn't even thinking about proposing to Anne yet , of course he wanted to but they're still in school , and didn't want to have Anne get scared or overthink everything. Everything in her life was perfect right now and he didn't want to mess it all up by asking her to marry him , it's a lot of commit.

While Anne was writing she was thinking about why Gilbert was acting so weird that morning. She was so glad that she found someone like Gilbert . She wondered when their 'love story' actually started. She had been wondering that for a while now.  There were a bunch of answers :

1. When Gilbert called her Carrots
2. When she smacked Gilbert with her slate
3. When he saved her from billy in the woods
4. When she introduced herself to Gilbert even though she refused to
5. When they first laid eyes on eachother

Anne liked all of them combined . She wondered what Gilbert thought . If he had to pick one of those 5 which one was when he fell in love with her. She knows he started to like her when she called him Carrots but there has to be another one . Because every time she asked him that he says 'Carrots' , or maybe it is just the ' Carrots' . Or maybe it's not ?
