-"ARA?" DRACO QUESTIONED GENTLY, SNAPPING HER OUT OF THE HORRIBLE MEMORY SHE JUST WENT THROUGH, "ARE YOU ALRIGHT?". Adhara looked at him, making him frown in concern at the hurt her eyes were showing.

She looked away and wiped some of the tears that started falling. "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck." She cursed as the tears increased. She started wiping them harshly with all her might, but it was no use.

"Ara. Come here." He whispered softly and pulled her into his arms again. It was the first time he'd seen her cry, and it was quite a change for him.

Adhara and Draco had an amazing childhood filled with trips, presents, and many more things that every other child always wished for. But people often forget that whatever showed on the outside, wasn't always how it was on the inside.

Adhara was an example of that.

She loved Lucius and Narcissa. She really did. She counted them as her own parents. But that never stopped her from thinking of why her actual father left, and what was so unworthy of her to make him leave. That never stopped her from thinking what would happen and how her life would be if her actual mother never died and also didn't leave her.

Growing up, Draco was always there for her, as he knew her way better than she knew herself. Which was why he knew exactly what she was feeling almost everytime, but he had never seen her cry. Nobody had.

"Make it stop. It hurts." She sobbed, breaking his heart into a million pieces unknowingly.

"Sometimes you have to feel, Ara. It's normal." He soothed and started rubbing her back comfortingly.

"I don't want normal. Please, Draco." She mumbled, using his first name to show how serious she was.

"It'll be okay. I'll make sure of it."

Dinner was awkward, to say the least

Dinner was awkward, to say the least. The Potters and Blacks kept exchanging looks, not knowing how to talk to Adhara, who noticed but kept talking to her brother as if she didn't.

"You know what would be funny?" Draco whispered to his sister.

"What?" She whispered back.

But he couldn't finish that, as Harry Potter just walked in, immediately making him blush slightly.

Adhara's jaw dropped as she looked at her brother, "You're joking, right? Please say you're joking."

"I don't know what you're talking about. Pass the salt." He said, trying to recover from his blush.

"Oh. My. Merlin."

"Pass the fucking salt." He mumbled, flushing in embarrassment.

Adhara slowly reached over to the salt and gave it to him, her eyes never leaving her brother's. "Bloody fucking hell. Why didn't I see this coming?"

"See what coming?" Harry joined in, not paying a glance to the adults who were shocked at how he wasn't even scared of the girl, because they certainly were.

"This is a sibling talk, Potter."

"And I'm a godsibling. So, see what coming?"

"You know what, Dray?" Adhara questioned, ignoring Harry and continued when her brother hummed questioningly. "Some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them."

The adults choken on their food and drinks, while Harry merely grinned. "That's the nicest thing you've ever said to me!"

"Surprisingly enough, I agree." Adhara murmured and drank her juice, her eyes never leaving Harry's.

"Adhara, can I come in?" Sirius asked, poking his head through the door

"Adhara, can I come in?" Sirius asked, poking his head through the door.

Adhara, who was reading a book, looked up and frowned. "No." She answered coldly.

"Please." Sirius practically begged, the longing in his voice so evident that it was hard not to notice.

Adhara sighed and reluctantly nodded. "Fine." She said, making him smile and close the door.

He walked over to her and sat infront of her. "I need you to listen, alright? Just listen."

She looked at him for a few seconds and then nodded. "Very well."

"I never knew." Sirius started, quickly explaining when he noticed her deep frown. "Trust me, Adhara. Cecilia never told me that she was pregnant. I don't think she even knew she was pregnant at the time. Anyway, when she gave birth to you, I was already married, and she already had passed away. Which was probably why she didn't tell me. I swear if I knew, Adhara, I would've never left you."

Adhara stayed quiet through the explanation, not wanting to believe it, but it was there. Every proof was there.

"Please say something. You can even shout at me and tell me how horrible of a father I am and -" but he was cut off by two arms suddenly holding him. He snapped out of his shock after a few seconds and immediately hugged back.

They stayed like that for a few minutes until Adhara pulled away, "Sorry about that I just-"

"Why are you sorry for hugging me? I'm your father, Adhara."

"You weren't my father a few months ago."

"I know. I'm so sorry. I really am. All I ask for is your forgiveness. Please."

"It'll take time."

"I'll wait forever." He immediately said, watching as she finally looked at him, "Take as much time as you need."

Adhara nodded slightly and merely replied, "Thank you."
