-IT WAS NOW JULY 1ST, ADHARA'S BIRTHDAY. Since she would be going back to Black and Potter manor and spend the rest of the Summer with them in a few days, Ara wanted nothing more than to spend some quality time with her older brother. Which was why they decided to floo over to Paris for a spontaneous trip.

Adhara coughed as she stepped out of the fireplace. "Shut up, Dray." She mumbled when she heard his laughter.

Draco held her hand as they walked out of the ministry, both of them immediately stopping at the gorgeous view. "Woah.."

"Well then why don't you just admit that you like her already so we can move on to another bloody conversation!" Draco exclaimed

"Well then why don't you just admit that you like her already so we can move on to another bloody conversation!" Draco exclaimed. They were now at the mall, talking about one random thing after the other.

"I don't like her." Adhara repeated for the hundredth time.

Her brother gave her a look. "Alright. Then, it's a good thing that I heard she's going on a date with Ron Weasley."

Adhara's hands held tightly onto a shirt she was looking at as she angrily turned around. "What?"

Draco smirked widely. "Is Ara jealous?"

"No!"

"You like her."

"I don't - ugh. Yes, I do."

Draco held up a fist in victory, "Yes! Mother and father owe me twenty galleons! I was just joking, by the way. She's not going on a date with him, I just needed you to admit that you like her."

"You bet on my love life?!" She was more focused on the bet rather than the lie and the fact that he outsmarted her.

"Of course, I did. They thought you'd be dating Pansy, honestly." Draco replied, looking unbothered as he shook his head at their daftness. "I mean, it was fairly obvious that you like Granger. I even told them that, but they said you looked cuter with Pansy."

Adhara frowned slightly as she glared at him. "Fuck off, Dray."

"Aww, come on." He cooed, slinging an arm over her shoulder. "It's nothing to be ashamed of."

"Yes, it is." She immediately said as they walked out of the store and started walking around the mall again, "I'm having feelings for another person, Dray."

Draco burst out laughing, making her glare even more. "Well, of course, you do."

"Guess what I heard from father," said Draco

"Guess what I heard from father," said Draco.

"What?"

"There's an event happening this year at Hogwarts. I don't really know what it is, but all I know is that it's something special."

"Did father actually tell you that or did you eavesdrop on mother and father's conversation?" She asked knowingly, making his lips quirk up.

"The second one. But let's just pretend that it was the first."

"Merlin, dragon, you can't even eavesdrop nicely? All we know now is there's an event, but what event?"

"You weren't there to eavesdrop with me, alright?!"

"That's your excuse?"

"That, and I was too excited to listen any longer." He admitted, earning a few slaps to the head.

"Why would you need - Oh, Merlin." Draco said, making his sister give him a look.

"Say a word, I dare you."

Draco held up his hands as a sign to show surrender, but his eyes were solely on what she just bought. "Ara, this is the nicest I've ever seen you. To somebody else, I mean. You're always nice to me."

Adhara rolled her eyes and replied, "I'm not doing this to be nice."

"Yeah? Then why are you doing this?"

"Because I just- shut up."

Draco smiled softly. "C'mon, Ara. What's so wrong about liking your new family?"

Adhara gave him a murderous look that would scare anyone, but definitely not her own brother. "I don't like them."

"Really? Then why did you accept Sirius' invite so easily?"

Her shoulder's slumped as she looked at what she just bought. "That's got nothing to do with it."
